After i heard some good commits about this facial scrub,i decided to try this myself,and i like the scent pretty well,this was a little hard to rinse off,i guess its better off using this in the shower,it did wake me up a alot (they are some mornings that i need some pick me up with the caffeine)and it removes make up well,it does the job on the skin brightening,which thats what i been looking for,i will continue to buy this untill they stop selling this at the stores.

I bought this product a week ago and has been using it ever since. I really like the fruity smell and how it feels. My skin is very sensitive which is the reason why I am always afraid to try to stuff especially on my face. I would recommend that if you have a little breakout for the first few days of using this, don't stop. Usually it just lifts up the impurities and clear it right away. Then you won't have any more problems. I use this in the morning and before I go to sleep.

I use this a few times a week, love the tingle and mostly the SMELL! It's works really good and wakes you right up in the morning!

This scrub is pretty good. It smells AMAZING, has awesome fruity smell, It really does wake you up with the lemon and stuff. I have had this since last summer, and probably buy again. The beads in this are too large and not enough to really exfoliate. I give it 5 stars, cuz I'm nice.

My favourite scrub line! Beats any high end brand. ALL of the scents in the line smell wonderful and refreshing. I bought the brightening one.

I'm a huge fan of Clean & Clear and this is my favourite facial scrub from the brand! It smells absolutely divine and leaves your skin soft as well as glowing. With lemon and papaya extracts, it's no surprise!
Like every product, it has its flaws:
1. The beads - in comparison to other scrubs they are pretty large and not enough.
2. If you have dry skin, AVOID this product! My skin used to be very oily but after using this product for a month, it's no longer.
3. Sometimes I get a stinging, tingling feeling on my face while and after using this product. Sensitive skinned people, AVOID!

Ahh! I am so excited about this reveiw! I have just started writing reveiws so I kind of get excited for every single one that I do, but this one. Oh my goodness gracious! I'm very excited for! This is my Skin Care facial cleanser. What I use for my face cleanser is Clean & Clear Morning Burst. And I honestly do not know the exact name but it is the one in the color Yellow. It has caffine in it so it seriously dose make your skin feel fresh and awake at any time of the day!
This dose help keep your skin looking young and healthy and its oil-free. I have oily skin so it dose get rid of most of the oil but the thing is it actually dose not help with acne as much as you think it would. And I honestly do not get that bad of acne. But I do like a good face wash that will protect against acne and pimples. So while using this I would recomend also using a acne-protector or acne-wash. continued >>

This Product is great! but....apparently everyone thinks its suppose to help your acne...Its NOT ...it's just a facial cleanser or scrub. It only removes dirt and oil. Its not meant to treat acne. Anyways I've been using it for about 4 months and I'm almost out of my first container. It lathers up quick and with only a little amount. It's suppose to brighten up the face, which it does. I had a couple scars from acne at the top of my forehead and i I can barely even see them anymore. I love this product the smell is amazing and really awakens you! love this product and its for a decent price which is cheaper at walmart compared to cvs or other drugs stores but it also depends where you live but a bottle is around 5.50 at walmart and 6.99 at cvs (:

This product is alright. I dont get a lot of acne and it keeps my skin clear, but when I do break out it doesnt clear my breakout quickly, so i use other cleansers.
The smell is nice and it does wake you up. I didnt notice that my skin was much brighter.

I discovered this about 6 months ago and am on my 3rd bottle. It used to feel like a chore to wash my face, but now I love it.

(I have combination skin; very oily T-zone and prone to dry patches on cheeks)

Pros:

Lather--Not too rich or strident. Very quick, with just a pea-sized amount. Picks up grease quickly but doesn't strip skin. Rinses easily.
Scent--Unlike other C&C Morning Burst products that have left my face smelling chemically or like toothpaste, this one leaves me smelling--softly--like citrus. My boyfriend always comments on how much he likes the scent when he kisses my clean face.
Packaging--Like that doesn't have a pump, because it's thrown in my overnight bag often, without worry. The bright design is also aesthetically pleasing.
Exfoliating factor--Gentle enough to use 2x daily. No matter how hard I scrub, I never feel the irritation or tearing I do with St. Ive's apricot scrub (or similar products). The "beads" are slippery enough that you can press hard to buff where you want to, and rub gently to NOT exfoliate where you DON'T want to.

So I bought this because lots of people recommended it, and because I needed something to brighten my skin! Brightening skin products are supposed to remove acne spots...apparently.
SMELL. It smells very nice and refreshing!
CONSISTENCY. I love the formula of the product, very soft and slightly grainy.
REMOVAL OF ACNE. This did NOTHING. It might even have made it worse! Through out the day, my face would become very oily when I used this.
BRIGHTENING. This did nothing to brighten my skin either.
INGREDIENTS. I'm pretty upset that this product has parabens. Plus it's supposed to go INTO the skin!
All in all, this did nothing for my skin, and may have made it worse. However, I love the smell and formula.

Not a favorite of mine.... Purchased this when it was on sale and liked the way it smelled in the store. Should have stuck with my St. Ives Apricot scrub.
The grains in this are very fine. It isn't so much a scrub as an exfoliating cleanser. I use it about twice a week in the shower and while it smooths my skin a bit, I like a deeper exfoliation. Im not a fan of scrubs that foam as I use them after my cleanser and feel the foaming action to be redundant. This makes my skin feel parched when i get out of the shower but never makes it flaky so i guess thats good. One last thing is that sometimes while it is on my face it makes my skin feel a bit warm so this may not be the best choice for people with sensitive skin.
All in all I won't repurchase this since I want a SCRUB and not a cleanser with beads in it. That said, it could work quite nicely for someone who isn't looking for something super grainy.
On the plus side, the package is bright and cheery and the smell rocks.

Ok, so this is probably the ONLY scrub I have ever used that actually feels moisturizing! When I am rinsing it off, there is a very soft and hydrating feel to the wash when the beads are already wiped away!
....but this bring me to another point. As others have mentioned, its not very scrub-y. The beads are fairly large, and there aren't quite too many of them. But, to be honest, I use this day and night beforee my acne cleanser just in order to get a mild exfoliation, and for that, I think it works! It's a very non-irritating scrub that gives you a mild exfoliation!
Also, about once a week, I add a tiny bit of sugar to get a stronger exfoliation.
As for the appearence and consistency of the product, it is (obviously) yellow, it has a kind of pearlized look to it, and you can see many little white beads in it, as well as maybe 2 larger, dark beads.
When you scrub it lathers a little bit, which I guess is good for a scrub, and I find it has a very pleasant smell! However, I don't really think it wakes me up in the morning....(plus I use it at night, too!)
As for skin brightening, well..I don't really know. I mean I don't really have dull skin, so I'm not even sure how to judge that...yeah, I'm not even going to comment on that!! :P
Basically it's a very mild scrub with a nice scent and a moisturizing feel!
*I think I paid $7 at Walgreens, and considering the bottles are no where near filled to the top, it's a little expensive...but I like ONLY buy drugstore products, so I'm not a great judge of that!

I wish there were a "maybe" option when you have to select if you'd buy the product again. I hate to be the first non-five lippie review here, but I have my likes and dislikes about this product. First off, this is the first Clean and Clear product I've bought in years! Between ages 13 and 15 I used their Deep Action Cream Cleanser and moisturizer religiously. Over the years, I've just gravitated to higher end lines and products. However, I'm constantly on the lookout for excellent skin brighteners. I will search high (end) and low (end) for a good one. I purchased this at an Ulta without having read any reviews, which is unlike me, but it was only $6.99, so not a major loss if it was a bust. Also the packaging has the words OIL-FREE right on the front, so I could rest assured it wouldn't break me out. As far as the rest of the packaging goes, I find it rather obnoxious. It's this garish neon yellow color and it's not aesthetically pleasing to me in the slightest. The product itself has some of the gentlest micro-beads I've ever felt. So gentle, that I don't even believe this should be called a scrub. It should be called a cleanser with micro-beads, or "Micro-bead Cleanser". I have to use this with an rubber exfoliating scrublet in order to feel like it's even accomplishing anything. It's heavily scented. I find the smell artificial, as the lemon and papaya ingredients appear quite far down the ingredients list, and I doubt the amount of actual lemon and papaya in this is that fragrant. Some days, I find the scent fresh and lively. Other days, I find the scent reminiscent of the Flinstone chewable vitamins I used to take as a little girl, which is rather off-putting. After using it for a while, I did notice a slightly brighter look to my skin. Although, I'm using this in conjunction with a brightening moisturizer by Mark. So, I'm unsure which of the two is contributing more to the brightened appearance of my skin. I like using this with and ONLY with my scrublet. Otherwise, I just feel like I'm using a mediocre cleanser with useless scrubbing beads in it. I would buy it again only for the brightening advantages. For a good, daily exfoliation, I know there are much better products out there.

So I decided to try this because clean & clears morning burst scrub was really good so I wanted to see how this one would be and I'm glad I tried it. I like it. Its not a miracle worker but it works. My face feels really clean and refreshed, and it does look brighter. I have pale dull skin so I'm doing whatever it takes to look a little brighter. WOW! I bought this because my local Smith's was sold out of my usual 'Deep Cleansing Scrub' (the one that tingles). I had been eyeballing this since the last time I saw it but I passed b/c I couldn't find any reviews on it. I love that it doesn't dry my skin out at all (the regular one made my skin a little dry), I like that it smells very nice w/o being overpowering, I like the texture, and most of all I like the results! I guess my skin looks 'brighter' b/c it's exfoliated and clearer.. :) I was having breakouts due to dryness I think, and since switching to the simple routine of this, Caudalie's purifying treatment, and Olay's chamomile & beta hydroxy cream my skin has cleared up :) And in the PM I rotate my usual routine with retin-a .05% instead of the Caudalie treatment + Olay. continued >>
