The ONLY sunscreen I will use on my face. I have oliy, rosacea skin and I spend lots of time outdoors. It doesn't burn my eyes when I sweat and its not greasy. My makeup goes on smoothly on top of it. It doesn't break me out, make my face greasy or aggravate my rosacea so its definitely a winner in my book.

I love the consistency of this sunscreen and tried it on my face - once again, in search of the perfect ss for my face that would not cause my sensitive skin to break out, itch or cause my face to become red and blotchy. I used this successfully for 3 mornings, then broke out. Too bad - the consistency was as good as the Olay Complete spf 30 I love. Also heard it was not stable, so what's the point?? Would not repurchase - hard for me to find and much more $$ than the Olay.

After searching high and low for a high-spf product that won't leave my face smeared with grease, i ordered B. kamins, based on the reviews i read on MAU. A high SPF is a must for me, as i am obsessed with maintaining my fair complexion/preventing sun-related aging. Now i am equally obsessed with this product. Not only is it non-greasy, but i find that it actually mattifies. It is completely non-irritating, and has caused no break-outs, I use it under my moisturizer, and have had no problems. Sinks right in. I would reccommend this over Neutrogena, which leaves white residue and a greasy sheen.

So far, so good. I rec'd a sample of this from Sephora. I've been looking for a lotion I can use on my oily skin under my makeup. I'm using Diacneal at night, so a high SPF is important to me. I've only been using it for about 3 days now, and i'm impressed. It doesn't make my oily skin oilier, and it dries quite quickly and my foundation goes on quite nicely afterwards. I definitely think that I will purchase this when my sample runs out.
I'll have to come back and update in a few days, just to be sure.
*Update* I still love this just as much as I did when I first reviewed it. I'm going to buy the full size this weekend!

FINALLY!!!!! I have found my HG sunscreen! I am super oily, and it seems that everything breaks me out or makes me a gross oil slick. I bought this based on the reviews, and it did not disappoint. I stay matte all day with this, and I do no burn AT ALL with this sunscreen on. It is water resistant, not waterproof, so you do have to reapply after swimming just to be safe, but it is wonderful stuff...AND IT DID NOT BREAK ME OUT!!!!! NOT one single, solitary cloggged pore or nothing! I highly recommend.EDIT: apparently this is not stable andmust be reapplied. Still is very matte, but reapplying it over makeup is not great, so I use it when I am not wearing makeup and can reapply, thus I am changing my rating to a 3

It is expensive, but if you compare it to Olay Total Effects (SPF 15), by mL, then you get 50 mL more using B. Kamins. Oil-free, which is important for acne-prone skin. Has a pink tint to it, which I think is a positive thing because most sunscreen can make you look pasty because it is so white, this gives me sort of a natural glow. Also cantains Parsol 1789 which according to Oprah's dermatologist is very important in a sunscreen. Don't know why though. I think it's because it keeps the sunscreen stabilized. Overall, great product.

This is the best sunscreen I've ever used for my face. I have very oily, acne-prone, sensitive skin and this works great for me. I find that it absorbs really well and provides great sun protection and it doesn't irritate my skin at all. It doesn't make me feel like I have an oil slick on my face, so I sometimes wear it under makeup, which is something I've never been able to do with any other sunscreen.

This stuff is great. I mix a really SMALL amount with my EL cream makeup and it just glides on, not greasy and I have a lot of oil in the t zone. It does have a pink tone to it when you see it out of the tube it might throw you but I dont notice it at all when its applied. I dont slather it on either. If you like to do that you may not like this.

Even though I tan beautifully, I've known for some time what sun damage can do to your skin. After reading the advice and explanations from articles by P. Begoun, I'd been searching high and low for the highest SPF I could find that had both the chemical sunscreen avobenzone (aka Parsol 1789) and one of the physical blockers titanium dioxide or zinc oxide. I wanted oil-free; I was hoping for a gel. I wanted something that I could wear over or under makeup. Hopefully, it would be applicable to both body and face. I didn't want a moisturizer ... just a blocker. No perfume ... no nothin'. Well ... I still haven't found what I want as a gel but I have found the best that I could uncover ... this lotion by B. Kamins. It arrived Thursday; Saturday (4th of July weekend) was the big test. I slathered it all over, head to toe, before I left for the day. The real test was that I then spent 4 1/2 hours sailing during a heated sunny day in the 80s. Being on or near the water is notorious for increasing the risk of sunburn. Hours later that night, I arrived home and checked under harsh lights to see the aftereffects. Lo and behold, it's as if I never left my house. Even though I tan well, my nose always received the brunt of the sun's brutishness but with this product, there was no color. Even where I wore my watch (and I always get a white place under it just from driving), there was no tanning demarcation. I didn't even reapply during sailing! Now, when I was applying it, I had my doubts as it has a slightly pinkish color when the lotion hits your skin; I was afraid of going around with a pink face. I found that this color very soon dissipated and everything absorbed into the skin. I confess I didn't apply it on my eye area as I was not familiar with the product yet; for my eyes and lips I used the blocker from Clinique. But I'm sold on this product. It's expensive ... but certainly cheaper than plastic surgery or expensive skin treatments. Why is it so hard to find this combination of ingredients? I supposed not everyone understands what truly blocks the sunlight. Until something miraculous comes along that is better, I'll be living with B. Kamins' Sunbar Sunscreen SPF 30.

I see my little sunscreen friend has a bad rep Ummmmm.
I've tried a few sunscreens, and when told by a mate I should try B.Kamins sunscreen, I thought why not. Firstly I tried a sample of course, and found it quite good. In the end it got the better of me and I had to buy it. I actually only use it in the summer along with Kiehls Ultra Facial Mosturizer SPF 15. I like the slight tint, not too girly and very subtle. I also enjoy the fresh smell. It should also be noted that "Sunbar" is oil free and quickly absorbs to the skin, no greasiness at all. I reckon this product is winner for the summer.

I was really excited to try this product, rather than shelling out the bucks on the La Mer SPF. So I was really disappointed to find it irritated the skin around my eyes, which is so unusual for me as I am very rarely sensitive to any product. So I unfortunately will need to go shopping, or stick with my Aveda Tourmaline Charged SPF.

I really like this face sunscreen much more than DDF or PTR. I have oily and acne-prone skin. I am thinking of trying Shiseido's SPF 50 because I am on antibiotics and use Retin-A. I like the tint - it acts as a very light concealer. I'm on my 2nd bottle; highly recommend.

PROS: SPF 30; semi-matte finish; CONS: has a tint resembling light pink calamine lotion; COMMENTS: contains parasol; the tint makes it easier to see where you're applying it - but also emphasizes the fact that it is hard to blend; I tried putting this over my makeup but felt that by doing so, I was removing some of my makeup; can be used on body and face
