Ok I admit I have been a little bit mean to my skin until now - this is the first anti-aging product I have tried so I don't have a lot to compare it to.I did notice results pretty much straight away... and over the last 6 weeks things have continued to improve. Fine lines are reduced, forehead creases and the creases between eyebrows are finer, less obvious. Pores are more refined and generally the tone all over of my skin is better. And then today, now this is what prompted me to write a review - I got asked for ID!!! So something is working well because I'm 43!!!!

Soooooo many benefits with this product!!!!
I've been using this product for about a year now. Most people would say I'm too young for this product but I think its easier to prevent wrinkles than it is to reduce them so one day I bought this and now I can't live without it. Being really pale, I've noticed some slight sun damage under my eyes. This stuff really minimizes those fine lines as well as everyday facial lines such as slight smile/ forehead creases. It also makes the texture of my skin so much smoother as it can look more on the rough side due to harsh acne treatments (I like to have a clear face as much as possible- like anyone does). I find that its also really good for diminishing those occasional acne scars- it does take awhile to completely fade them but its totally worth it. I have never had any skin irritation with this product and it does not clog my pores. I actually find that when applied to occasional acne on top of my drying acne treatments, it clears up my skin much faster than not putting it on top as a moisturizer. On the down side though, I find that if I go without it for a week, my skin slowly goes back to its original state.

I definitely recommend this product for everyone!
Also a bottle of this lasts me about 3-4 months- I apply it generously all over my face every night.
I also wear contacts (sleep-in kind) and it does not bother them either for those of you wondering about that (:

**I've also tried the rapid tone repair (night) and I think that the rapid wrinkle repair (night) one works better (not significantly though). I am now trying the healthy skin retinol night facial treatment and will update how well that one works compared to this one.

I don't know how anyone tolerates this stuff. It's fine on my skin, but when I use this I always wake up in the middle of the night with tearing up because a little has gotten in my eyes somehow. I thought I'd try a retinol containing product as a preventative, mid-20s skincare measure sort of thing, but no thanks. I think i'll stick keeping my skin moisturized and wearing sunscreen. In fact, I swear this made the one fine line I have on my forehead even worse. The only good thing I have to say about it is the packaging, which is great for a photo-sensitive product.

I wanted to love this product, I really did, especially since the eye cream in this range got top marks from me. However, it failed in my books because it didn't meet my needs.
I have glowing normal skin. Not acne-prone, just the occasional breakout when i get lazy about my skincare. I regularly get complimented on how lovely my skin looks, and this is even when i only used my neutrogena wash and regular moisturizer. I decided to invest in a retinol product after i read that it was recommended to prevent aging. I wanted to protect my looks and keep my face looking good for as long as possible.
Enter this product. The first concern i had was the fact that i had to wait upwards of 10 minutes after washing my face to use this, to prevent the irritation which is so common with retinol products. This sucked all the moisture from my skin. It went against my basic skincare training which encouraged the retention of moisture by the application of moisturizer while skin is still dewy and moist from a wash. So nightly, i would wait about 15 minutes after washing my skin, then apply this product. The cream appears moisturizing and applies well, leaving skin with a sheen. However, after months of using this, i noticed that my skin lost its natural glow. For the first time in my life, i had drab dull looking skin.
Another concern with this cream, was the increased incidences of break-outs. Before i started the retinol, i could get away with the occasional unwashed face at night and not suffer any break-outs. With this product however, any night in which i slept with make-up resulted in the most painful breakouts, which has left mild scarring on my skin. So i would say, that it increased my skin's sensitivity levels.
The only lines i have on my face are around my eye area, for which i used the eye cream in this range with good results, so i cannot comment on this night moisturizers effect on wrinkles.
After using this cream consistently for over 5 months, i was not impressed with the results and decided to stop. I was scared that my skin would deteriorate and look worse than it did before i started the retinol like i had read happened to a number of long-time retinol users (retin-a and other tretinoin products though). I am so relieved that my skin has bounced back and is as lovely as it was before i started this product. My glow is back. I will never again subject myself to a "bondage" product like this. I will care for my skin, avoid the sun, use the best moisturizers and hope to age gracefully when the time comes.

I am on the fence. I use a whole bottle before commenting, and although this does a good job plumping the skin overnight (hyluoronic acid), the effect is temporary and will only work while you are using the product. However, I do sleep on one side of my face although I am trying to train myself to sleep on the back, and this does help with that irritating pillow crease I get from nose to mouth corner from this habit!

However there is a 2-piece set from University Medical that will do the same for $15 which includes a gel and cream. I know this has retinol in it, but it doesn't seem to exfoliate as well as my Roc Multicorrexion 4-in-one serum I used before trying this. I am planning to go back to Roc but try the Deep Wrinkle Serum because I have enjoyed my results with their products.

I was also intrigued by the tone-correction serum, but I will probably wait on that until Fall.

I have only been using this about a week, so I can't attest to the long-term effects. So far I'm not crazy about it. It says that you will see an improvement in just a week. So far I have seen no improvement. It has actually caused me to break out!! I know that b/c it has retinol in it, it can make your skin worse before it gets better. So, I am going to keep using it for a little longer....but...it hasnt even helped with my fine lines, so i don't see how it could help deep wrinkles in just a week. Hopefully, the long-term effects will be better. We shall see.

-UPDATE-
I have been using it for a month and I like it ok. It still hasnt helped at all with fine lines, and I still get a couple breakouts....but I think my overall skin clarity has improved. It has also plumped up some very shallow acne scars that I have. That alone is reason enough for me to continue using it. That is unless I continue to break out using it.

I've been using this for just over two weeks. The only difference I've noticed is a red face, especially under the eyes. The wrinkles are all still there and I doubt they're going anywhere. I will finish it up though, just to get rid of it. I will not be buying it again unless something changes.

I'd like to buy this in bulk so I can use it everywhere! This works wonderfully for me. I am 34 and due to stress/dehydration/age my skin was looking dull. I was using my clairsonic 3 days a week for exfoliation but it wasn't doing the trick. I have very sensitive clog prone skin. I did experience some minor purging but my skin was fairly clear with only really clogged pores when I started. If I use this nightly along with the clairsonic 3x a week, my pores stay pretty clear. My face is brighter, much more smooth, less red, less dehydrated looking, and I'd say younger looking by at least 5 yrs. I looked young before but now I look like I have the skin of a teen model you would see in a beauty ad for a wrinkle cream :). Of course I still have previous acne scars and some uneven texture. This is helping with that too. The small crease in my forehead from expressions is gone and the very mild aging/line in the nasal labial area is history. I had this very small sun spot on the top of my cheek bone and it's now gone as well. Just flaked off one day after 3 weeks of use. I've been using for one month and I saw results on day 1 and it's only gotten better over time. I did forget to use for 3 days and my skin started to look dull again. I'm using several other products that work it seems synergistically Trilogy Rosehip oil 3 times a week after exfoliation, Avalon Organcis C toner 3x a week, and this product nightly. I use Weleda Sea Buckthorn with the clairsonic 3x a week. I only wash with water on off days unless I wear makeup.

I'm on the fence about this product because I think it was the culprit for a large breakout I've been experiencing lately. I think it really clogged my pores. I never had this problem with the Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle cream: that really seemed to make a difference in my skin without the breakouts. I'm trying Avene Retrinal 0.1 now. If that works, great. If not, then I'll go back to using Healthy Skin.

EDIT: I'm almost certain this product caused my breakout. I LOVE the Healthy Skin night cream, but wanted something stronger. This did not work at all for me. I am using the remainder of the Rapid Tone on my neck. It's working OK there, I don't clog up on my neck in general.

EDIT: This clogged my NECK! I got a zit on my neck which has never happened to me. I will avoid Neutrogena anti aging products in general from now on: however, I'd recommend the Healthy Skin anti aging and the Healthy Skin eye cream!

Well, I have been using this product for 6 weeks now. My skins reaction in the beginning:
- some light itching
- puffiness
- more oily than usual
Results I have noticed since I have used this wrinkle moisturizer:
- skin looks fresher (also a bit more plump-which is good)
- skin tone has improved
- some wrinkles seemed to have lessened a bit in depth
- skin texture is great, skin feels very silky & smooth & moisturized
I also noticed, that after I cleanse my skin in the morning to get rid off the nightly dose of wrinkle repair, my skin feels very dry afterwards (is that another side effect?)
Overall, I seemed to have hit some sort of a plateau? - there really has not been any other significant improvements, but I will continue to use.
