I love this cleanser. I've used the cleansing grains as well, but I feel that this lasts so much longer. One bottle got me through about a year and half being used twice a day. I only have to use a pea size amount to get a full foam that cleans my entire face and the product works fantastic with my Clarisonic. My skin is squeaky clean without being dry, and helps keep it glowing, as well as even-toned. I will be using this cleanser for many years to come. For all the benfits this product gives, Komenuka Bijin has earned my loyalty.

I am on my second tube of this stufff but with any other product it would be like your third or fourth. It lasts so long! It's amazing, just a tiny pea size amount makes a ton of lather, so I feel like I get my money's worth which is good as it is rather pricy. I like the tube it's easy to travel with and use in the shower.
It leaves my skins soft and smooth, never dry. It also seems to help soothe my mild rosacea. I tried a lot of expensive products from the dermatologist that only made my face more irritated looking. This cleanser is very soothing I keep coming back to it.
If you wear waterproof sunscreen or mineral makeup you may need to use a makeup remover first. But that's true of most cleansers. I use the Jane Iredale magical mitt to remove my makeup first and then I use the KM cleansing foam.
I like the fact that it has no fragrance and uses natural ingredients. I am concerned about what one reviewer said about not all of the ingredients being listed. But I am willing to give them the benfit of the doubt given the results I've seen. I don't think this product contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate, although some of there other products may.
Update: I had to stop using this product because I kept getting little breakouts. I think it's just to emollient for my oily skin. Too bad because I really liked it.

This was a very gentle and effective cleanser. A tiny dab would create a lot of rich dense foam. It rinsed off well without stripping and left my face feeling soft and fresh. I didn't like the smell (heavy doughy scent) and I don't like the price. I wish I could find something about half the price that works the same way.

Just a small amount makes a thick, rich lather but this seems to leave a waxy residue on my skin that I feel would clog my pores. I would suggest you use a toner after this cleanser.

Didn't love the grains, just bought this, with it got samples of the whole line and I am thrilled. If I hadn't I wouldn't have ever tried it bc I have always had bad skin, pimples, and avoid oils like the plague. This line has really helped my skin and I love the smell eventhough most don't on this board.

This product, like the Komenuka Bijin cleansing grains, is one of the best facial cleansing products I've ever used. I have dry sensitive skin and this product left my skin squeaky clean without feeling dry or tight. It's expensive, but the tinest bit (smaller than pea-sized) is more than enough and lathers up a storm, so one tube goes a long way.

This, along with one of the Cle de Peau cleansers, is pretty much a HG for me. It cleans well without stripping, but the price is the killer for me.

I liked this product but it is too expensive. It leaves skin soft and clean feeling. I liked that it feels like it rinses away completely without drying out or stripping the skin. It is gentle and almost soothing. My one gripe is the smell, I know it is rice based but it smelled like rice dumplings or dough. ick.

I like the Komenuka Bijin Cleansing Powder better -- but this is great for the shower!! It is a wonderful and gentle cleanser. This is a wonderful line!!

Great AM cleanser - gentle, non-drying for sensitive combo skin. And excellent (aforementioned) creamy foam.

For $40, this was a splurge for me. It leaves my skin very soft and a little dab foams like mad. I perfer the cleansing grains, but this removes makeup nicely and doesn't break me out. For the price, I doubt I'd purchase this again because I just didn't find it to be anything special. I suggest trying a sample before purchasing.**EDIT-After using this for about three weeks, it really started to irritate my skin. I stopped using it and my skin cleared right up.**

I tried out a little sample tube of this and I like it. Cute packaging, cleanses well. It has a creamy texture, foams up very well so only a pea sized dot has to be used. My little tube lasted more than an month and no breakouts from this either. Only gripe is that is stings my eyes a bit.

I really like this cleasing foam! It feels more like a cream (quite thick and creamy). The ingredients are mostly all natural extracts and it's soothing to the skin and washes off clean. I wouldn't recommend this to oily-skinned people, but for normal->dry and sensitive skins, this is a great buy (even though it's quite expensive).

I don't think I'll recommend this cleanser to anyone who has tendency to clogged pores. If you are NOT at all acne-prone, go with this cleanser, you'll love it. But if you are prone to pimples, don't use this. I got clogged pores in my cheeks from this, and I never had clogged pores in those areas.

I love this product! A small amount of the cream mixed with water creates a thick lather. Don't hesitate about the price - this product last forever. I have very sensitive skin, combination skin, this cleansing foam does the trick.
The enitire product line is worth a try.

Another rave for Bijin. A tiny dab of this foam, mixed with water, creates a creamy/foamy wash that removes makeup and dirt without drying my face, irritating my sensitive skin, or causing breakouts. The fragrance is fresh and light with a hint of citrus. My only complaint is that I wish the tube had a flip-top or pump.
