This is definitely a product I would re purchase because the shade of red is so flattering without having to worry about precise application techniques. An effortless, elegant red.

A very wearable red during daytime. I don't normally wear red lipstick but not this one. The formula is in between lipstick and lip gloss, not too matte, give a hint of glossy feeling , and long lasting. The pencil makes it easier to apply and this is a huge plus because you need to be a bit more precise on red lipstick. Anyway, sharpening the pencil could be somehow wasting too much product.

The novelty of this is what attracted me to it because I have never seen a lip gloss and pencil all in one and one swipe of this and I was hooked. As other reviewers have mentioned, this is a perfect red to wear during the day. I think it is very sophisticated, flattering, and elegant without being too dramatic. I find this to be a great color red to wear with a smoky eye look when I want just a hint of sheer red. The down side to this product though is the constant sharpening, which I don't like and if you don't have a lip pencil sharpener already, you have to purchase one in addition to the $24 for this. I don't think I would repurchase this and would recommend Revlon's Super Lustrous Cha Cha Cherry for a sheer red that can be worn during the day or paired with a smoky eye look.

I really enjoy this lovely product. The color is an adaptable red with blue and pink tones which allow it to look either red, pink or berry based on what you have as a base on your lips. On its own, this is a sheer pinkish red that is quite wearable in the day time. I have a very conservative hospital job and find that I can easily pull this lipstick off in that context. On its own, this is the kind of lipstick that you can put on without a mirror and know that you will still look presentable. I'm also quite taken to layering this on top of a lip stain, which makes a very dramatic and statement lip. It has a lovely, non drying formulation and easily lasts 3-4 hours. I don't have a bad thing to say about this product! I also enjoy that you sharpen it down to get more product, but I do think that probably many will not like that feature.

Oh my gosh! I love this! I almost did not buy this but the sales assistant convinced me to and I'm so glad that I did. It's a lip pencil that applies smoothly and goes on slightly glossy without being sticky (your hair in the wind will never stick to this) and not to heavy.
Baroque is good for people who want a red evening lip but are too scared to go for a red lipstick and want something bold-ish but not too crazy. It looks amazing on my pale skin with cool undertones (somewhat like Amy Adams, I wear Mont Blanc). Baroque is a wine-ish red without being purpley at all.
I also like the application. I find it goes on really precise, unlike lipsticks that are often fat and hard to apply unless you use a brush. This product gives the precision that you normally only get with a liner. Love this product.
The only things that might turn people off are the smell (faint clinical kind of smell) and that it is slightly waxy. It also comes in a pencil format which might result in wastage in you do not have the right kind of sharpener. Luckily, I got my hands on Annabelle's 3 dollar duo sharpener (which does big pencils and small ones). It works really well and will allow me to use this product for a long time without wasting any.
