Out of all of the eye creams I've tried, this one made my eyes BURN. It hurt so much, within a minute of me applying it, I had to wipe it off

I have tried what seems like a hundred eye creams, with little success. This one delivers. My lines were so much better that two girls at work asked me if I had used fillers ! I did have a tearing reaction the first week, but I stuck with it, and I am so glad that I did. I have had no flaking as others, but I also use retinol on a bi weekly basis. I don't have sensitive skin. If I did ? This might be too extreme. That said....I love this product, and there has been a huge difference in my eye lines and puffiness

Unfortunately, I purchased this product without checking the reviews.

I found my eye area to be more sensitive
(itchier) than usual. Then around the third week of usage... my upper eyes lids began
to flake/peel.

Needless to say, I stopped using it & have returned the product.

Run. Run quickly from this product!
Hey, I rarely write negative reviews, but this product needs to be warned against.
Like so many here, I picked this up for free w/a Sephora order. I read the reviews AFTER it arrived, and thought, "Hrumph with all of these negative reviews - I bet this is going to be really good." (How about that for a prize PollyAnna!)

Within 5 minutes of applying this, I felt a strange sensation around my eyes. It was the feeling you get when all of the moisture is being miraculously sucked out of your skin. Not kidding. The skin under & over my eyes had tightened up, and the skin was left with an unhealthy, super-matt finish. Moments later, both eyes started tearing. There was no feeling of irritation, per se, they were just tearing because they were auto-rejecting this potion from hell. After a total of 10 minutes, tops, I quickly rinsed/patted this stuff off of my eyes with a fluffy facecloth & warm water. Even after it was washed off, my skin continued to feel tender, and abused, for several hours, and the tearing continued as well.

I am not a sensitive-skin-type of person at all.
So when I react to something - it has got to be some strong (awful) stuff.

Heed my warning & stay away, or you will regret it for many hours - even if you act quickly! continued >>

Bought this with a Philosophy set which included Miracle Worker anti-aging moisturizer and anti-aging retinoid pads. Whole set was $110. Have been using religiously nightly for about 6 weeks. The past 3 weeks I noticed that the area around my eyes seemed much much drier! Thought perhaps it was the retinoid pads and started being very cautious about using near eye area. Since then, my eye area has gotten drastically worse! All around eye area it it super dry, peely and itchy! I'm afraid to use any of it at this point. What a colossal waste of money! Do not buy this stuff! My eyes look ten years older! Some miracle, huh?

I used this the other day and it seemed fine. But I just used it again then and it has made my under eyes so red, I just washed it off them and my eyes are now sore. I usually don't have sensitive skin

I received this in a combination pack of Philosophy products along with the Miracle Worker moisturizer and Help Me. Of all of the products this one was my least favorite. The cream seems thick but had a weird consistency. When I dabbed it under my eyes it did not feel like it was absorbing and kind of pulled on my skin when I tried to rub it in. When I saw it cost around $70 Canadian I tried to use up the rest of it just so it wouldn't go to waste. I have not noticed any improvements in my eye area from this cream and it just feels gross on. It also did not work well under makeup, almost seemed to dry out so nothing could be put over it. I am glad I did not pay full price for this...I would not purchase it separately or as part of a combo again.

I am only reviewing a sample of this that I received at Sephora. So far, I love it! I am going to be purchasing this as soon as I make it back there. The cream is a thicker consistency which is nice because many of the other eye creams I've tried are either thin or greasy. This feels thick and non-greasy and soaks in well overnight.

So far, so good.

I've never been a fan of Philosophy products because I find them to be gimmicky, along the lines of Benefit, with cutesy names and little inspirational sayings, but the products are really lacking. This eye cream is a perfect example - they named it "miracle worker" but it doesn't even soak in! Fortunately I used it at night, but my skin didn't absorb it and when I looked at the ingredients list one of the first things is beeswax?? I ended up using the rest of the sample on my legs, where it just slid around. Don't waste your money.
