I recently also bought 2 sets of the full size pump bottles of this S&C at Target because I wanted to stick with sulfate free. I've used Suave conditioner for cowashing, but never their shampoos. I've tried several HE S&C lately, which have done nothing for my long and thick, but coarse, color-treated hair. This duo is great. It leaves my hair soft and silky without making it feel "skinny," takes away any frizz, and my hair is very shiny without a shine serum. I'm glad I bought (the last) 2 of these! continued >>

i agree with the reviewer that said suave products are hit or miss. luckily this was a HUGE HIT! i picked up the duo at target for $3.50 for TWO FULL SIZED PUMP BOTTLES! wth? the only other suave product i use is their clarifying shampoo-bomb stuff and hella cheap. i have fine, thin stick straight asian hair that i color & highlight. anyway, yes the fragrance is a bit strong & artificial but it dissipates very quickly and once dry, leaves behind a softly scented version of the blackberry-very yummy. this left my hair with NO tangles, easy to comb through after. today my co workers said, "man, you're hair is super shiny!" and i steered them to suave! i am super amazed at the quality! ive used high end conditioners (aveda, renee futerer, bb...) and this performs just as well if not better than most of them and the price??? CANT BEAT IT! great job with this professional line suave!
EDIT: the conditioner doesnt work as well after ive highlighted my hair, best for hair thats not dry. continued >>

I love this conditioner! I have tried the rosemary + mint one and hated it! I tried a new herbal essences one but ran out, so my sister went to the store to get some more. When i saw she came back with this i was like ugh. But I tried it and my hair has never looked better! My hair was soft, and SHINY. LOVE IT.

I have just used this twice (2 days in a row) and my hair has never looked better. I can honestly say that this is SOOOO much better than some I have paid $15.00/bottle for. It's just $1.87 at Wal•Mart. I Iove the smell, and it lasts all day. I love this and will definitely keep buying it. Forgot to add that I use the shampoo and conditioner.

My hair is starting to look a whole lot better after using this conditioner with its matching shampoo. I really made a mess of my hair using another brand. Some of my hair broke off and was so dry that it was covered with frail, white split ends. I think this is really helping my hair recover from this damage that has been caused over time. After the second use, the split ends were virtually nonexistent and my hair glimmers! My sister even commented on how I had no visible split ends, so it has to be working. I love the smell of this (kinda smells like blackberry jam or some type of sweet smelling bubble bath) and it has a light texture, but penetrates my super thick hair enough to where I can run a comb through it with ease. It leaves it very smooth and so shiny. It may just be me, but my hair feels somewhat stiff when it's damp after using this in conjunction with the shampoo. It may have to do with the silicone ingredients, but upon drying it's bouncy, shiny and very soft. The only downfall for this product is the packaging. There's always water left at the bottom and inside of the flip cap, which isn't that big a deal, but if I need to move it anywhere out of the shower, I have to pull the cap off to empty it out. Still, it's a keeper for me thus far.

HG for me, no question. Have used for 3 weeks now, and from the first use, I no longer needed styling/smoothing products for blow drying. For my hair, this is as good as it gets. Great smell, even better price, $2, and fabulous result. I honestly never thought I'd find a shampoo and conditioner that would do anything to help my hair. My hair is healthy, but is fine, and prone to frizz without serums and such. I may still use serum for a special occasion, but on a daily basis, this is enough.

I used this product with the shampoo every day for almost two weeks, and I am going to keep looking for something else. The smell is just okay, that fakey sweet smell that got old to me by the end of the day. After a week of using this, my hair was lying flat and stringy and didn't look very clean, and my hair felt rougher than before. Just running my hands through my hair, it felt heavy and filmy. I wouldn't recommend this.

Best drugstore shampoo & conditioner. While I loved pantene shampoo & aussie conditioner (smells amazing I absolutely adored this) I decided on a whim to try something different. I like using matching shampoo & conditioner too & this was so cheap I had nothing to lose. Suave really surprised me with this one! I've always been slightly snobby with hair products & usually gloss over suave but I'm so glad I bought this. The smell is really refreshing & light, exactly like tea. I especially love how it's for color treated hair. I recently dyed my hair (garnier's raspberry truffle) & my hair felt dry for a few days :/ This made it feel softer after one use ! & My color appeared to be more vibrant. I'm really impressed. I can't believe I even prefer this over bumble & bumble. Whether you have color treated hair or not, I think everyone should try this. My only complaint is that I wish the packaging were cuter. Reminds me of my boyfriend's shampoo, pert. continued >>

love this product. i have only been using it a few days, but it is definetely comparable to more expensive brands. though i can't tell too big a difference between a lot of products, i find this one works very well and the smell is intoxicating. the new suave line is pretty great. i also tried to flexible hairspray which works exactly as promised. i'd give it a try, it's worth 4 bucks!

After I fried my hair with my last coloring (I am never using Feria again!), it was dry and crunchy. I've been conditioning it like crazy, and it just hasn't gotten better, until I tried this conditioner. It smells delicious, and it was $1.37 at walmart, and it makes my hair really smooth and soft. Yay! I get similar results when I do an olive oil treatment, but this is so much easier and smells way better, and not nearly as messy. I used it with the matching shampoo, but I go through conditioner about 3 times as fast as shampoo, so I will definitely be stocking up when I go back to the store. It says it's comparable to Aveda, but I haven't used that so I can't say. I like the "natural" ingredients, but I'll be honest, I don't care if it's chock full of chemicals if it makes my hair look good and stop breaking off.

I use to buy Aveda products until I found better success with other products. However, this cheaper version is way past my expectations...Two bucks and it smells and works amazing. The conditioner and leave in conditioner work better than products that cost 30 bucks a bottle. I never thought Sauve would actually make something so amazing. Also, lots of people give me compliments how great I smell and my hair isn't a ball of damaged, frizz, fried mess anymore. :) YAY!

Ok, I came across this product as well on my last trip to Walmart, since they had restocked the shelves with all of these new products, & I just had to try. Firstly because it was CHEAP [I think I paid...$1.97?], & secondly because the SMELL. Oh man it is so good. I love the smells of their professionals lines, especially the more natural lines. The Almond & Shea butter has not steered me wrong since I've been using it, & since I do have colored hair that I really don't want to, nor can afford on a college budget, getting touched up every month or so I decided to invest my 2 dollars into this instead. A worthwhile investment.
It is so smooth when you put it on, & the smell is really what makes me the happiest. Though, i know that the ingredients of black raspberry & white tea[ this especially] are known for their antioxidant properties, so I was eager to try it. The front of the bottle claims that it is 'salon proven to protect as well as Aveda,' & that it replenishes moisture to protect colored hair. Well, it certainly does.
Some background on my hair: it's fine, but I apparently have enough of it to make it frizz like none other. when i flat iron it is super flat/fine, so how it gets that poofy is beyond me. But I'm a natural blonde that I've colored...every shade there is. Currently I haven't been as dye happy, & have stuck with blonde. I just had it darkened a few shades with a semi permanent to my more natural dark blonde, & though it is in far better condition than it was a year & a half back, it is still just always dry. It also loves natural ingredients. So, this stuff really did the trick. I use it after shampooing or CO-washing, then apply this, let it sit for a few minutes as I shave/wash, then rinse with cold water. It really feels so silky smooth, & sometimes I even take a bit to leave in afterward. then I just scrunch & go :) It makes my waves very defined & shiny, & the scent does last a bit if I don't flat iron. I really like it & also just bought the shampoo. Apparently there is a leave in spray, but I could only find it on Amazon for a pack of 4, so until I can locate just one, I'll hold off. continued >>
