This is a great product for its price point. I have to say this: I am not much of a lip color person. I think lip colors are sticky and high maintenance for the most part. I bought this on a whim in Antwerp because I needed a color close to my actual lip color, and this seemed pretty close. It's like my lip color except better x10! I don't find it too bright, and it compliments my skin perfectly. The texture was really creamy, and it acted more like a stain than anything really. A stain that lasts about 2 hours, eating and drinking included. I found it a little drying, which is why I took off one lippie. I put a little Smith's rose salve on before applying it the second time, and it looked much better, though the wearing time was a bit shorter. Overall it is definitely something I will be buying in multiple colors in the future.
Love, love this soft matte lip cream! The color is a flush of pink in coral base. I like that I could wear this color everyday, highlighting luscious lips, without making a dramatic statement. You can wear it with a smokey eye to offset the usual nude lipstick pairing. It is really easily to apply this lip cream perfectly to the lips with doe foot application. Finish is matte but moisturizing.
The scent is a soft vanilla flavor that fades within 10 minutes. It smells like baked goods and cake batter. The lip cream lasts about 2-3 hours without application. The only CON being that it fades away in patches, leaving creases of color on your lips. Not a big deal as you can always reapply.
Overall, I loved this product so much that I went and bought another color. I don't know if I will repurchase this exact one in the future, as it lasts a long time. I have been wearing it randomly within the past 1.5 yrs. It will probably last me many more.
This is my favorite lip color I have right now. It's a really pretty coral color with a matte finish. I like the little brush better than actually using lipstick I think it gives you better precision. It goes on very smoothly I didn't find it cakey at all. And it smells lovely. Overall I love this product and I would repurchase.
My lips are very pigmented to begin with and this shows up a medium pink on me. I think it's very flattering; not pastel and not too bright. The only thing that bothers me is it won't seem to completely set. I bought this in Amsterdam too and I don't have a problem with that one. Antwerp gets a bit tacky, but doesn't dry all the way. It's not goopy or sticky, just a big grabby. Overall, I really like this.
I love love love this colour! It's like my favorite nude and my favorite coral had a baby. I could wear this color everyday. I also love the matte finish. I find the application to be easy and the wear is light and comfortable. It has a very soft pleasant scent, that fades in a few minutes.
What I don't love about this is it doesn't last very long on me at all (2-3 hours tops) and it fades in a patchy way, leaving my lips looking a little bit dry. Also, the tube didn't last very long for me. But overall, I love it! I'm repurchasing it for sure.
I decided to pick up Antwerp, as it looked like a pretty colour for my skin tone. Antwerp is a pinky, coral shade and very pigmented. It has a vanilla scent to it, which didn't bother me as it was subtle. I'm not keen on the scents that MAC lipsticks have!
I think this shade will look different on different skin tones, because on me, it looks like a soft coral but i think on a fairer person, it will show up much more vibrant.
It comes with a doe foot applicator, so it's easy to get the product out but also apply it precisely to the lips. When applied, it has a slight sheen to it but after a bit of time, it appears more matte and opaque on the lips without that dry look! This will go patchy if you apply too much product, as it is quite opaque.
Once it dries, it doesn't budge! Even having a drink, there is no mark left on the cup! This stays put for about 4-5 hours on my lips, but i think if you are eating or drinking, chances are some of the product will come off slightly. I do find that it does fade unevenly, so you do have to be careful if you are having a heavy meal!
Overall, i do think this is great value for money, however i believe the Collection Cream Puffs retail for £2.99, which is slightly cheaper than the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream. The other thing that i have mentioned before is that you can only purchase it online, so sometimes it is very difficult to get an idea of the shades.
I prefer this product more for the summer months, purely because my lips don't get as dry and i think this shade fits in perfectly for this time of year.

they smell so good. my issue with these was that after they dry, it is a cakey nightmare on your lips. My lips are never chapped and I always apply a lip balm under most lip products. This applies so smoothly and it feels amazing for until about 5 minutes after you put it on. Once it dries, it is ugh terrible.
I wasn't sure if I'd like matte lip creams, but I actually really like this one.
This product is really good. The color is a matte rose pink on my lips. I thought it was going to have some peach tones but it is a true rose shade. It applies smoothly and evenly with the wand applicator, and dries matte on the lips.
The first thing that stood out to me about this product versus the NYX Lipsticks is the flavor/scent. The lip creams have a very nice cake icing flavor/scent. This is drastically different from the round lipsticks, which to me taste like the smell of dryer sheets! The scent of this lip cream fades once it dries, but it does make for a nice experience when applying the cream to lips.
It takes a few minutes for this lip cream to dry and set, but once it does, it stays pretty well. In some ways it reminds me of a longwear lipstick, but not as dry and no sheer coat over the top. It lasts much longer than any gloss would, about the same as a matte lipstick.
You'll have to touch this up during the day. It wears away from the part of the lips especially if you're eating. But no more than a matte lipstick, and less than a gloss or regular lipstick.
Overall I'm pleased. I wouldn't buy this shade again, as I prefer something more coral or peach. But, I like the product and the formula.
So I went to Ulta today for the first time because I have been hearing so many good things about NYX products and I wanted to try them out. I bought this soft matte lip cream as well as a few other things. When I first saw this color, I wasn't sure how it was going to look on my lips because I have pigmented lips and unless a lip product is opaque, it doesn't show up on my lips. I was pleasantly surprised at how beautifully this transferred onto my lips and one coat of it gave such a beautiful color that I was instantly in love. I love how it does not feel heavy on the lips and it is not drying whatsoever like some matte lip products can be. It compliments my skin tone perfectly. This looks better on my lips the more the day goes on which is great! I was afraid it would stain some areas and wear off in others but it hasn't done that so far. I haven't tested the wear against food and drink but when I do I will update this post.
I will say, though, after wearing it for a while, when you look up close you can see it settle into any dry patches that might have been on your lips before applying the product. Therefore I would recommend moisturizing with a lip balm before applying this product. For that reason, I give this product a 4 overall.
I love the color. Unfortunately, that's the only good thing from this lip cream. I suggest applying it and drying it out for at least three minutes before applying a second coat. In an hour or so, this lip cream manages to find a way to stay at the side of your lips perfectly, and be blank around the lips.
