First off let me say that if I hadn't found one of my now favorite gurus on youtube and read about this somewhere I wouldn't have bought it because I was a FIRM believer that BB creams would not work for me.
I had really bad acne that left crazy red pigmented scars all over my face. BB cream isn't known to provide coverage and from what I read usually tends to break out acne prone people with all the ingriedients it provides.
However I follow Shaanonxo on youtube, she's gorgeous and has a brillant accent, lol. I saw her using this on one of her makeup vids and saw how amazing it went on her skin and provided nothing less but FULL coverage. Ugh, I was in love. So I went on the Lioelle site because I didn't want to take a risk on amazon or ebay by buying a fake one or used one(ew). I paid 35 I think altogether.
Note I am no longer oily because I am an accutane user as of right now. So yes I am pretty dry but with my low dosage more towards just normal skin especially with moisturizer.
It goes on very greyish at first and a little too dark for my skin tone but as it settles into my skin it becomes my EXACT skin color. That is something I really love about it that I don't have to deal with the hassle of different shades that it just adjusts to my SKIN tone instead of ME adjusting to its skin shade. Now why can't all those foundations out there be like that?? These people GET IT now everyone else hop on the train!
It is hard to blend and I mean pretty hard to blend. So with that said use your fingers the warmth of them will make it easier than a brush. It can provide excellent coverage as a bb cream. It covers my acne scars with 2 layers and redness with 1.
Fading my acne scars, I wouldn't know. I am using a Garnier acne spot corrector along with Vitamin E and along with accutane as it can provide "fading". My skin does look exceptionally better when I do take it off. Its provides me with a satisfying feeling to know not only am I putting on makeup but make up that is doing me good.
I don't think it's hard to wash off compared to any other full coverage foundation.
As far as how it feels, I don't understand people who complain about it feeling "heavy" then take one point off of it because of that. Are you so weak that you can't handle the so called "weight" of a BB CREAM?? By golly, my god.
Lasting power is all day or until I take it off but remember I have normal to dry skin so I wouldn't have a clue as to how long it provides lasting power to the oily skin side but what BB cream does? I mean they are almost known to provide no coverage or lasting power. Its just a CREAM for your skin not a foundation. This goes beyond what usual BB creams are made of though, I love it.
Now, the packaging FINALLY a company that didn't just throw some foundation into a random jar or tube and be like HERE! Finally a company that some freaking effort into their packaging I honestly feel like some make up companies just don't give a damn on their packaging and that's real rude. I mean we spend our HARD working money on their products could you please do a little "hard working" into the packaging? Thank you Lioelle, this BB cream is amazing! It is totally worth the money.
The finish of this product is amazing. It reminds me of Nars Sheer Glow, but the price of this bb cream is much lower than Nars and skin care benefit of Lioele Triple the Solution BB cream is much better than Sheer Glow.
~ Medium to full coverage
~ Moisturizing but not oily
~ The finish is like Nars Sheer Glow
~ It improved my skin
~ Color is suitable to NC 15 to NC 25
~ It does not give a white cast
All in all my favourite BB cream / foundation. <3
I really love this BB cream, it's the best I've used so far (I have over 17 BB creams in my stash!). For reference I am an NC20 with yellow undertones and sensitive normal/combo skin.
The tube it comes in is very practical and hygienic with a pump dispenser. It contains yogurt and hyaluronic acid which are said to provide moisture to the skin. These ingredients are not near the top of the list though so they will not have much effect on the skin tbh. Speaking of the ingredients list, it is nothing special (like all Lioele BB creams...) - lots of silicones and glycol's, talc and parabens. There is some licorice, strawberry and flower extracts in it but again, they are right at the bottom of the list.
Anyway this BB cream claims to leave the skin feeling comfortable (it does - it doesn't feel like there's a thick heavy layer of makeup on my face at all), give a natural and clean looking skintone (it does - gives a my skin but better finish), whitening and anti wrinkle effect (it contains a bit of arbutin but the percentage is very low so I doubt anyone will notice whitening effects, and I don't know where the anti wrinkle effect claim comes from, I'm guessing because it contains SPF 30 pa++) and leave the skin feeling soft (it does).
The colour match is really good for me. It's not grey, white, yellow, just a neutral beige which makes my skin appear brighter and whiter as it cancels out the yellow tones in my skin. It's definately a bit darker than most BB creams I've tried, I'd say it'd work for NC20-NC30.
Coverage is very good - 1 layer gives medium coverage for me, gets rid of any redness and covers small blemishes. Personally I do not put more than 1 layer on as it starts looking a little to thick and cakey...less is more! Lasting power is really good too, I don't even set with powder and it holds up all day with no touch ups required at all. Gets a little oily on my nose after 5 hours or so but aside from that, no problems.
This is definately my favourite BB cream and I will be repurchasing.
This stuff is really, really good. I was shocked actually because I tried a little pump on the back of my hand to see the colour and it looked really white. I thought noooooo, then a really nice esthetician told me it will actually meld with your own skin colour and did my face in it. WOW! My face looked airbrushed. This is thick and can be opaque if you want or semi-sheer if very lightly applied. I like a formal full coverage look and this does it for me. I also lightly dust a mineral powder foundation (iredale or la bella donna) on top to slightly adjust the colour depending on what my skin is doing that day. No one product does it all for me, it all requires slight tweaking, but this is lovely. AND later when I checked in the mirror, instead of looking like it needed touching up, it actually got nicer and nicer. Satiny, plumped skin that looked fabulous and flawless (almost). As a point of reference, I have tried the Iredale BB cream and had to buy two to mix to get the almost right colour and I found it very chalky and didn't seem to do my skin any favours. Over a few hours, pores and lines and shadows actually seemed emphasized with the Iredale. Highly, highly recommend the Lioele. Coverage, by the way is buildable and I was even able to add more over my powder near the end of the day when I did need refreshing and it blended in again seamlessly. This is really good stuff for anyone who wants a foundation with good, flexible coverage that beautifies the skin.
I purchased mine from the amazon seller "H2Dream" and it was on my door step in less than a week! I love in Cali (its not a fake, I checked :D)
Overall Rating: 4/5
SKIN BACKGROUND: Oily, acne prone, SUPER sensitive, mild scarring and discoloration, beige skin with dominant yellow undertones.
PRICE: I got mine for $25, including shipping.
COVERAGE: Definitely medium-full. The coverage really is amazing for a BB cream. It just covers EVERYTHING! Dark circles, acne, redness, everything.
FINISH: Sort of a semi-matte, but becomes dewy through out the day
TEXTURE: A lot thicker than I though it would be... It doesn't quite "glide" in the skin like a moisturizer. It really needs to be warmed up with the hands and thinned out with a moisturizer.
LASTING POWER: On its on, with my oily skin, not too well. Mixed with a tiny bit of foundation and set with powder, it lasts all day!
SHADES: This, like many other korean BB creams, comes in only one shade. Its ghostly pale at first but it adjusts after 15 minutes on the skin. However, if you are deep toned, this probably wont work for you, I am afraid! UNLESS you mix it with a darker foundation!
DID THIS BREAK ME OUT?: No! In fact, it has actually been improving my skin! All of my break outs are disappearing, scars are fading, tone and texture is more even... And I have only had this for 2 weeks!
PACKAGING: Adorbs! I feel like a princess when I see it sitting on top of my vanity. And I appreciate the pump! Squeeze tube would have sufficed as well.
WOULD I REPURCHASE?: DEFINITELY
FINAL VERDICT: I LOVE what this is doing to my skin! Soon, I may not even need to wear foundation! I only have TWO pimples right now. I never only have two. I usually have atleast 6-8 at a time. Great product, totally am on the BB bandwagon now.
At this point I suppose I am a bonafide Korean BB addict. I have tried and loved many. I have been using Liolele's Triple the Solution consistently for two months and have come to the conclusion that this product is the queen of all BBs that I have tried. Yes, I still love my others for different reasons. I love how moisturized my skin feels after Skin79's Snail, I love the colour of Skin79 Vita (Orange packaging), I love the lasting power of Skin79 Hot Pink, I love how Skin79 VIP Gold seemed to clear up my skin. I love the smell, consistency, colour and the fact Skinfood Red Bean does not break me out, it is dirt cheap too. Missha's Perfect Cover lasts all day, comes in several shades so I can mix and makes my skin look lovely, the smell however is way too strong. I was underwhelmed by Holika Holkia's Luminous Silk in the lightest colour, but their Aqua Petite Jelly BB in shade 1 is lovely stuff, albeit hard to blend, tends to highlight dry patches and not super long lasting.
Triple the Solution is lighter than Beyond the Solution, it has a thicker consistency and much higher coverage. It really is waterproof and long lasting. I wore it to a summer wedding in the sweltering heat and it held up just fine! I have worn it on a cold fall weather high speed boat ride where it began to rain, and while the rest of me looked a wreck, I had lovely perfected skin at the end of it. ha.
Two pumps does my entire face (using my hands) and covers all redness, hides pores like a dream and makes my skin even toned which I love. The colour is a tad dark on me but I am able to pull it off. If too much is used or not applied well, one will look cakey. I rub it in as though it is a moisturizer then pat my skin with my hands to make sure all streaks are gone. As much as I love the affect on my skin after a fresh application, the magic, for me, shows up later. Yup, later. I find as the day progress my skin looks better. I dont get oily looking, but a nice dewiness appears and my skin looks naturally healthy and radiant. I have even had complements! I have also fallen asleep in this stuff and not only did it not mess up my pillow (dark navy blue in colour) but it does not break me out! This product does nothing but agree with my skin. What is really cool is my skin condition really seems to be improving. I thought the difference I saw with my Skin79 BBs were impressive but this stuff even outperforms them! Redness is fading, freckles are fading, dry patches are not as common and my skin looks more plump, if that makes any sense. I can go out not wearing anything but concealer now and be quite happy, but opt to use a BB for the sun protection and to keep the affect up.
Yup, Lioele's Tripple the Solution is hands down my favorite BB of all those I have tried. I dont think I will be trying any new ones as a result, unless Lioele happens to come out with a new triple function BB in the future. I will continue to use and love my other BBs but this stuff...this stuff wins.
Wow does this have good coverage, I don't even need to use a concealer with it. Very thick and only one pump (if that) is needed for my entire face. It's a fairly good color match, slightly too light for my NC25-30skin, but I just add bronzer. I use my fingers to spread it, as the warmth from them helps it spread on a little better. I pump one pump on my fingertips and spread between by two hands and dot it on my cheeks, forehead, chin and nose, then spread it a little and finish by tapping it in to my skin. Then I tap whatever is left on the nozzle(and there is always some left) onto my finger and use that to cover any redness around my nose or blemishes, that way none transfers onto the cap when I close it. And I'm done. No need to powder, lasts several hours before I need to blot. I have to be real careful with powdering over this as it can get cakey looking fast. Love the SPF 30. The coverage can't be beat for BB cream.
I have combination/dry/acne prone skin. I have been using this BB cream almost everyday for a little more than 3 weeks now. I think this BB cream provides a medium to full coverage (if you build up the product), which I really like about. The product sinks into my skin pretty well and changes its slightly light color to match my skintone in about 5 minutes after application. However, the downside is that it clogs my pores especially around the nose area, forhead, and the chin! I've used scrubs when taking off the BB cream, but it never really works...:'( I also saw little pumps on my cheek area, which few of them developed into whiteheads. I'm kind of in denial that this product has made me break out, so have been giving it a try after a try... But I should probably stop using it for a while and see if my skin goes back to normal. Other than that, great product.
I've been so excited to try this bb cream! I have been using this all through this summer and at first it kinda broke me out but then i guess my skin got used to it? I do still get the occasional monthly pimples but other than that it has been treating me fairly.
This cream is definitely one that has medium to heavy coverage, which is what i want in a bb cream! I only use half a pump if not less so i still have a lot of product and it should last me quite some time longer and i have been using it pretty much every day this summer.
I do have to spot reapply late in the day sometimes but other than that its a really natural look and covers better than any other creams i've tried.
I dont recommend to wear it if youre going to be outdoors all day. school and work is okay though and ALWAYS WASH YOUR FACE at the end of everyday as you would with any makeup.
Finally, a Korean BB Cream I can actually wear! Over the past couple months I've tried several different Korean BB Creams, such as Skin79's Gold, Pink, and Orange Label BB Creams, BRTC Gold Caviar, Missha Real Complete Signature, Missha Perfect Cover, and various Dr. Jart BB Creams. None of them really worked for me. They all had their various issues: some irritated my skin, some broke me out, some didn't match my skin, some didn't provide enough coverage, some dried me out, looked cakey, accentuated pores, made me look oily, didn't last long enough, etc. As a desperate last attempt I ordered a few samples of the Lioele Triple the Solution BB Cream. I had read all the raves and watched all the youtube videos but was wary of thinking it would actually work for ME. But it does!
I'm an NC10-15 and it matches me nearly perfectly. It's maybe just a tiny bit darker in certain lighting, but hardly noticeable at all. It definitely doesn't bother me any. The scent is very strange... The only way I can think to describe it is an exotic spicy jasmine scent. It really is rather strong at first, but it dissipates quickly after I've applied it. It's grown on me and I really like it now (and it doesn't irritate my skin). But I can see how those who are very sensitive to scents might have a problem with it. It applies wonderfully and easily using just my fingers. I can see this working with brushes too though. I've only built it up to medium coverage, and I'm not really sure if I could ever get full coverage out of it. The Skin79 Orange BB Cream is definitely full coverage to me as it covers my undereye circles and the redness around my nose. The Lioele evens out my skintone perfectly but it doesn't cover those to areas so I still use a concealer on them, which I don't see as being a big deal. One thing that really sets this BB Cream apart from the others I've tried is that it *doesn't* accentuate my pores; in fact, it hides them very well! It sets to a very nice, natural finish that isn't what I would call dewy or matte, but just healthy looking. It really brightens up my face. I do set with a light dusting of powder, and it lasts about 10 hours on me which is awesome! I never ever get that horribly oily look I get with other BB Creams I've tried. For reference, I have normal-normal/slightly combination skin. I'm not even oily, so I just can't understand why the other BB Creams made me look that way.
Though I haven't been using it long enough to see any benefit, I love the fact that it contains skin "whitening" ingredients. I have a couple spots of hyperpigmentation on my chin from past hormonal breakouts, and I would love a more even skintone overall. I'm also happy that it contains wrinkle fighting ingredients, as I'm turning 30 here in a couple months and can use all the help I can get in that department! :) High SPF is wonderful for that reason as well. I do hope that with continued use I will start to see those benefits. I've already purchased a full size tube from a seller on Amazon and can't wait to get it! I'm just sad that once the weather starts to get warmer and I get some color to my skin, it won't match me at that time. But I will for sure be bringing it out again in the Fall!
