I bought this for a quick fix. An event came up after work and I did not have time to shampoo my hair. I figured for about $3 this was worth a try. The scent of this product is so strong it makes me nauseous and gives me a headache. I have very dark brown hair and i noticed a whitish cast even after brushing the product through completely. I also don't like the way this product feels on the hair. It feels very heavy to me. I will not be repurchasing.

I really like this product. I had been using the Got2Be dry shampoo but I would only get about two uses out of it and it cost more than twice as much as the Suave. This one works very well, it does a really good job of cleaning my hair which is always fairly greasy on the second day. I do have dark hair which means I have to spend a little time using my hands to make sure it doesn't leave a gray cast to the roots around my face which is where I seem to have trouble with that. But if you use the palms of your hands to really rub it in it is fine. I love this for when I curl my hair, since when using this I can go days without washing my hair and still have it look good. I haven't had any problems with it running out too soon or a defective can. Just remember that you don't need a whole lot of product to get the job done, just rub it in well. Overall, great product for a great price.

I tried this after I tried the Dove Dry Shampoo which I seemed to like only problem was I only got two uses out of it and I don't have that much hair. So I picked up the suave one. Let me say I absolutely love this product!! It smells so good which is a plus because every other dry shampoo I've used smelled so over powering and just like old lady perfume. This is a very fruity smell. It also created a lot of volume to my hair which I love! It did a great job absorbing the grease in my hair. My only negative is that it still left somewhat of a gray tint to my hair. I have very dark brown hair. If you run your fingers through your hair or brush it through it should be fine. Overall I'm very pleased and will repurchase again and again!

This dry shampoo definitely works. I have read some reviews about the white showing on hair, but for my light hair once I rub it in it's completely invisible. I have to agree with most people who dislike the smell. It's not the worst thing I ever smelled, but it's a strong citrus-y smell. Some people like it, I'm not a fan. I have also tried the Tresemme dry shampoo which smells great, but works horribly! I definitely think Suave should either change their scent, or make an unscented one! Also love the price!!

This is the first time that I can actually say my oily roots had a solution. I didnt have any hope left in me becuase everythinh I tried before didnt work. I have been able to go two days without washing my hair and that is the first time. My hair gets oily the same night that i washed my hair. This is a great product and really inexpensive.

Don't do it! I was pretty happy with my John Frieda Volume Refresher Dry Shampoo, it was the first one I had ever tried and I liked it. So, there I go messing with a system that worked and I figured I'd try another brand and continue on my dry shampoo adventure. EW! I sprayed it and was like dying in a cloud of cheap lip smackers! I can't walk around smelling like a 12 year old girl. I know it only cost 3$, but I literally think I might drive back to Target on principle and return this b/c it's so bad. The product functioned fine but sadly, is totally unusable.

This is good stuff. I'm really surprised by the reviews. It definitely gets the job done for me. I just follow the directions: spray from ~8" away & brush it through. It sops up any grease in my hair. Yes it leaves a residue but it looks fine. Sometimes it's harder to rub it in all the way, particularly at my crown, but it still isn't noticeable. I'm sure there are better alternatives, but for $3 and needing a quick fix, this is great.
For reference, I've also tried Tresemme dry shampoo (AWFUL, it's so hard to blend in compared to this stuff) and Oscar Blandi dry shampoo in powder form. The powder works but it's much more cumbersome and when I accidentally overdo it, it can be hard to fix my mistakes. Also, Oscar Blandi is like $20. So for the price, Suave dry shampoo is pretty damn good. continued >>

This is my first experience using a dry shampoo, before that I was using baby powder. First off, I have light ash blonde and strawberry blonde hair, so while it did leave a whitish cast on my roots, it wasn't noticeable. It was much easier to brush out and style my hair using this than it's ever been using baby powder. The first time I tried to use this I got no product out of the can, only aerosol, so either the nozzle was clogged or it takes a little trial and error to get it to spray right. Unfortunately, the smell is just horrific, as if I'd sprayed lemon floor cleaner and maple syrup all over myself. It's strong and acrid at first and then it lingers all day, cloying, and frankly nauseating. I'm very sensitive to chemical smells, especially if they don't dissipate, to the point where other people in my life have had to switch to unscented personal products for my comfort. If Suave came up with an unscented version of this, I would be happy to give their dry shampoos another try, but until then, I'm going to look for another brand. And test it in the store first to see if I can stand the fragrance.

I first read about this product in Cosmo. It had a pretty good review, so I thought "Why not?" I can tell by looking at most of the reviews, that there aren't too many people who care for the scent. I actually like it! It's kind of fruity. The packaging is good. Price is good. I think everybody should have a bottle sitting on their vanity! Not only for days that I don't have time to wash my hair, but also I like to use it after I blow dry to add a little bit of volume to my hair. Glad I bought it.

While this product isn't bad, I hate it because of the smell. It smells like some cheap cologne that lingers even after several hours. It also leaves a white cast in my dark brown hair, which I have to rub in to dissipate. I would not buy this product again, and would not recommend it. I feel so self conscious when I wear this, because it smells like some street walker's cheap perfume.

Eehhhhhhhhhh, no. While this is better than the horrific Tresseme dry shampoo (which is akin to "washing" one's head with a combination of wax and clay), its oil-hiding abilities are far below Batiste's. I was tempted because it's cheaper, in a larger bottle and has a citrusy scent that is more pleasant and less sinus-annoying than the Bastiste scents, but my hair's oil wasn't hidden. Back to Batiste I go.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this. Its only $3, which is amazing. The scent is great, but it does become worse as the day progresses.

This is my first dry shampoo. Normally I would just stick to the old baby powder trick but never got good results. The Suave dry shampoo is around $3- can't beat that. The directions suggest spraying a good distance from your hair and blending the powdery spray in with your hand. I hate the stringy, piecey look of my bangs after a day of not washing and this really alleviates that issue. The mineral clay formula cuts that nasty oily sheen at the roots and does add a decent bit of volume to my thick, wavy hair. I don't see any whiteness against my dark hair. My only complaint is the smell; I do not care for the B&BW Mango Mandarin + acrid chemical scent. There is a sharpness to it that reminds me of Pledge or something. I do feel the smell fades but I probably wouldn't repurchase. Scent aside, great bargain. continued >>

I usually hate Suave products, but I thought to give this one a try after being really disappointed in Tresemme's dry shampoo. I was drawn to it because it says on the bottle that it is for fine and straight hair and of course, Sauve is cheap. I love this stuff. First off, it IS a dry shampoo. Therefore, yes, it does leave your hair a little duller than before (shine=oil, duh). And it initially has sort of a fruit punch smell- which goes away after a bit. But it totally takes away that horrible, oily un-washed look! Actually, I put it on all the time because my hair is naturally on the oily side (I have super straight hair) and this adds tons of volume and some texture right around 5pm when the morning mousse and blow dry starts to fizzle a bit on me. I have medium brown hair and I've found that it's very hard to overdue this stuff and give yourself "grey" residue as the Tresemme stuff did to me.

i dont know about scent nor performance because it seemed to dry up in the can before i ever used it. i bought it but did not go to use it till a week later and the once full can was empty. no one else used it and yet not a single drop was left. not sure if it dissipated somehow, dried up or whatnot? i just bought the newer version, different can color and am hoping for better luck

It works, I don't mind the smell (strong but pleasant IMO), but it made my head itch and gave me a headache. I am sensitive to perfumes, so if you aren't, it will probably work great. I'm pretty bummed because I did enjoy the lift and volume it gave. Time to invest, I guess :(

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!
-The smell was TOO overpowering. It smells as if I had sprayed massive amounts of perfume in my hair!
-If you have dark hair...BEWARE! It will make your hair whitish and turn it dull looking!

This product is pretty good. I used it for the the first time today, and I must say it's much better than Tresemme (sp?). I really like the smell, even though it can be a little over powering. I have dark brown hair (2N) and it does come out as a powder but all you have to do is rub it in, no big deal. There is another product I would like to try from Sephora, but overall this one is pretty good, better then baby powder and I will keep at least a couple of bottles on hand. :)

I had no problems with clogging, & I didn't mind the strong overwhelming fragrance this had. My issue is that the product didn't work for me. My hair didn't look any fresher, in fact it may have weighed it down even more. Not at all comparable to Batiste. I just wish I liked the fragrance of the Batiste (tried both the orignal & the blush, so I'll try the tropical Batiste next.) continued >>
