Well I would never had thought a water would b able to clean my face from makeup and sunscreen where I wasn't itching to rinse. The French are on to something with this water lark. I use it as an am cleanser and a finishing step after OCM at night. Skin is not left tight, eyes do not sting nor does my face feel inflammed after using. I use a toner after only cause I like it but it is not necessary. Makeup goes on fine afterwards.
The fact that I don't like to use it as my sole cleanser is why 1 lippie is off. However this would be great to have during camping or festivals as it is really refreshing.
Actually just placed an order as it is only 5 pounds for 200ml. So will get 2!

My skin is combination-oily as my t-zone tends to get a little bit shiny, and without TM or powder, I feel my face looks dull.
I purchased this upon seeing reviews comparing this to Bioderma Sensibio/Crealine Micellaire H2O. That product is somewhat hard to find in Netherlands, so I resorted to YR.
I don't know where to start. I love the smell, it's very refreshing. I love the fact that it completely cleanses my face (after I dissolve my eye makeup with EMC) from makeup only with 2 whole-face swipes with cotton pad. I love that it doesn't leave my face sticky/tacky or tight, but refreshed and soft, and keeps it that way until the next morning. To sum it up, I just LOVE IT.
It's suppose to be priced at 11EUR-ish, but YR always has it on sale, so I only paid 6EUR.
Would I buy this product again? HELL YES. I will even buy not one, not two, but at least three to stock up (and leave one at boyf's house)!!

After finishing a 50ml sample of it, I truly missed it, as it's mild yet effective, removing all my makeup without irritating my finicky face. Also, it doesn't sting my eyes at all. So recently I ordered four 200ml bottles (for the price of two -- love their specials!). I use 2-3 cotton pads with it, and then I usually rinse; although on nights I've been too tired to splash my face with water, it hasn't left my skin sticky or tight. Recommend it wholeheartedly.

* My Skin – normal to dry, occasional acne, drier in the winter
* Review – I like micellar solutions since they are no-rinse soft and gentle liquid cleansers. I’m also a fan of the popular Sensibio Crealine micellar water by Bioderma but since I use it every day, it does get expensive over time. Like the Bioderma, this is similarly packaged in a plastic bottle with a flip-top cap. And like the Bioderma, this effectively removes non-waterproof makeup, leaving my skin feeling clean, supple and hydrated. My skin does not feel tight or irritated after cleansing! What’s refreshing about this product is that it features botanical based ingredients: green tea extract, white tea extract, Madagascar tea extract, organic chamomile water and musk rose oil. There is a light fresh scent but it quickly evaporates. The scent doesn’t linger. Another bonus is that the bottle is composed of 25% recycled plastic --- a nice feature in my book. I find that this micellar cleanser works just as well as the Sensibio Crealine by Bioderma and since it’s a fraction of the price, even more budget friendly.
* Price - €6 for a 200 ml. bottle. Compare that to €9 for a smaller 100 ml. bottle of the Sensibio Crealine by Bioderma ;)
* Verdict – I am quite pleased with this effective and affordable micellar cleansing water!

I have been having troubles with oily and dry skin in the same areas, chin, cheeks and nose. I use the YV Calmille Cleansing Gel. This works really well but need a non cream moisturizer to replenish my skin. This water works really well for that. It also removes all remnants of makeup as well. I will continue to use this unless it breaks my skin out.
I have been using this Micellar Cleansing Water for 6 weeks now. I have noticed that my skin has become more clear and less oily throughout the day. In the morning all oil made during the night is removed and a fresh canvas is left for me to apply my makeup. I do not wear foundation but I do wear eye makeup and blush. After applying the Cleansing Water I wait about ten minutes and proceed to apply my makeup. It goes on smoothly and has good staying power. My skin feels clean and fresh. I highly recommend this Cleansing water. I will continue to repurchase this until Yves Rocher discontinues it.
This cleansing water removes all makeup and can be used as a gentle makeup remover that does not leave a film on your skin that you have to wash off like normal makeup removers.

It's a decent micellar water. Not worse and not better than any other. Removes my make-up just like any other micellar water I have tried so far. It comes in a rather small bottle so I am not sure if the price is justified. I would re-purchase it but I prefer bigger bottles with a pump.

This is an excellent micellar cleanser. My skin is combo and sensitive, with some dry patches and this cleanser does not leave a tight feeling on my skin (I used BIoderma in the past) but removes every last trace of makeup. I primarily use this as a finishing step after I deep cleanse with cleansing oil, but I have also used this as the sole makeup cleanser when in a rush, with superb results. I did a comparison between Bioderma and Yves Rocher on my skin over a few days, and the cotton pad picked up more residue makeup traces on the Yves Rocker side. I also really like the light fresh natural fragrance.
The regular price of this is around $19 for a 200ml bottle, however, I've never purchased this at regular price as Yves Rocher puts this item on sale at 40-50% off all the time. With nightly use a bottle will last me about 4 months, so it's not too expensive. It's a shame that not more people have tried Yves Rocher products (I'm in Canada), as I've found a lot of little gems from this brand. I think in part Yves Rocher have themselves to blame for all of their confusing marketing tactics and constant sales. Who knew so many of their products are still made in France and such high quality? The Micellar Cleansing Water is my favourite Yves Rocher item that I've tried so far - highly recommended. continued >>

• MADAGASCAR TEA EXTRACT

Indeed I use it as an eyemakeup remover and it is the mildest thing ever on your eyes.
Great on overall skin. However, I do not use it as heavy- duty makeup remover or for water proof makup. It will not work for that (no oil in it).
The best use for this eau micellaire - as I was instructed by a knowledgeble SA - is to use it as a toner. (really!!)
I mean, after you have removed your makeup with your cleanser. it works a miracle.
Soothes and leave your skin soft as ever. It does great at removing the skin-tightness after your evening washing (and the hard water) if you use a foaming cleanser as I do. This micellar water is a dream.
You can also use it for completing your make-up removal after cleansing wipes - we all know wipes do a good job but are not 100% effective to take off the tiniest bit of makeup - that's what I do when i use wipes.
it is a tad expensive for being YR ( retials at around 10 Euros) but this is a novelty and is really worth the price.
An excellent product. Totally recommend.
