First of all, a PSA: This is about $3 cheaper at Stop 'n' Shop than at Walgreens or CVS, if you live Stateside. Go. Get some. I will be here when you come back.
Secondly . . . I cannot say enough good things about Organix' argan penetrating oil, and I am basically *made out of* superlative adjectives. I have extremely curly hair, and it tends to frizz out at the slightest provocation. For YEARS I battled my hair, but now it's actually behaving itself! And getting COMPLIMENTED! It's soft and shiny, and the ends don't split as quickly as they used to. If you'd told me about this a year ago, I would've called you a corporate shill, but I would have been stupider than an umbrella in a submarine: If this is the only semi-expensive hair product you EVER buy, you have made some Good Life Choices. Congratulations.
I have to say that although I have also had success with the conditioner from the same Organix product line, it is MUCH harder to get the last bit of product out of the conditioner bottle since it's got a weird tiny nozzle, whereas the penetrating oil comes in a bottle that's easier to empty completely. (For cheapskates like myself, this is a must.) I've also found that although the conditioner gives a similar result in terms of hair behave-ability, it's not necessary to pair the penetrating oil with the conditioner. I found the oil effective enough on its own that the conditioner was superfluous. They're the same price, so . . . I just buy two bottles of the oil at a time, instead of one bottle of oil and one of conditioner. PROGRESS!
A lot of girls grow up thinking that oil is something "bad" that must be stripped out of hair if they want it to behave. This is not true, and I wish I learned so sooner. I feared that I would feel "greasy" if I put oil in my hair, but now? Now I feel like I walked out of Botticelli's "The Birth of Venus." Yeah, you heard me, this stuff comes with its own decorative seashell and putti entourage. J/K, but it DOES come with hordes of admiring onlookers.

I only have the oil, but so far, I love it. I can instantly feel that my hair is softer and appears shinier when I apply it. It also reduces the look of split ends. The smell is amazing. Love it!

I've been using this for about a month now, and I don't think it's a miracle product but I will continue using it. My hair is waist length, bleached and color treated and VERY dry. I apply a good amount (about 4 drops) to the bottom half of my hair and around my hairline where I get frizzy from breakage while my hair is damp, it doesn't make my hair super shiny but it does smooth it out and make it feel soft, strong, and moisturized. I prefer to use this with another leave in treatment to really tame any frizziness and give my hair more shine. I personally think the smell is addicting, I can't stop smelling my hair right after I put this on! This might be a better product for someone with less damaged hair than mine, I may try the "intense" version after I finish my bottle. A MAJOR plus for this product is that I notice it cuts way down on the drying time for my hair, which is great becase 99% of the time I let it air dry. My only complaint is that I noticed after a few weeks my hair seemed very dry and resistant to soaking up moisture, I think this product was leaving buildup that was preventing my hair from absorbing moisture - but a wash with clarifying shampoo seemed to do the trick.

This does nothing for my hair. No matter how much I put in my hair looks exactly as it does before. It does not appear to add to softness, silkiness or anything.
My hair is not color treated or heat damaged, so I have different experiences with hair products than many other users.

I have thick, wavy, coarse hair. This product did not work on my hair. It didn't seem to make it shiny or eliminate frizz. HOWEVER, and it's a big however. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the smell. I can't get over it. I really wish they would make the smell into a perfume because I would buy that over and over. That's the only reason I'm going to buy this product in the future. I think I'm going to take a small glob and put it on the lower half of my hair when it's dry, just to put the nice smell in my hair.
I should mention, I only tried this stuff once so far, tonight is my second time. The first time I put it in when my hair was wet and went to bed. That probably wasn't a very good way to start out with it. Tonight I'm gonna see how it is with my hair dry and then going to bed.
Anyway, like I said...I think the smell is amazing. I think it's better to put it in in the morning though, because the smell goes away after sleeping or after a few hours.

Not sure why this is so popular? Argan oil as one of the last ingredients didn't impress me, but I gave it a go anyways. Was disappointed. Gives my processed/platinum hair a tad bit of shine, but does nothing for frizziness or flyaways. Very disappointed. That's what I get for straying from Moroccanoil. I'll pay the extra money to notice a difference!

Total HG. First off, I have dry frizzy 3a hair.
I saw this on sale, 2 for 1 at Rite Aid and couldn't pass it up. I use this every time I wash my hair now. It makes it so glossy and silky soft. I have to be careful letting my hair down around my friends because they won't stop touching it and playing with it because it's just so soft. I have to put it up while I'm just sitting around or it will get very greasy because I can't keep my hands off it (not greasy from the argan oil, but from my hands!). I have been blow drying my 3a hair straight lately and always use this beforehand. I just cannot get over how soft and shiny my hair is, and neither can my friends or family! This is a MUST HAVE. It also works just as well as the $20/bottle stuff my hair stylist uses on me. This definitely works best on damp hair for me. I could keep gushing but I don't think that's very helpful.
And even better than the stuff my stylist uses is the smell. Oh my gosh. The smell. It is the single best smelling hair product I own, no joke. It's fresh and clean, almost like a good sort of exotic men's cologne. I just cannot get over how good this stuff smells. They should release a perfume of the scent they use in this, I would wear it daily, no joke.

Do not spend your money on high end argan oil. If its 100% argan oil then its 100% no matter the brand! I am not sure if this is a 100% but this stuff is amazing. It made my hair shiny and healthy again (from bleaching) of course with other products as well but I put it in my hair at night when it is wet and in the morning my hair looks amazing
It makes blonde hair really glowy
I recommend for anyone who is thinking about spending big bucks for a high end brand. DON'T! at least try this stuff first and if you are unhappy, then go for the higher end. Whatever can save me money I am happy

This is an OK product foe me. It's a little heavy for my fine hair and I don't care for the scent. But it DID make my hair feel super soft. It's just a little much.

I got this bogo free. One section of my hair was breaking off and I didn't know what to do. I used this and olive oil in addition to my reg moisturizers and my hair stopped breaking. I don't know if it was this or the olive oil but I'm going to keep buying this and make sure I always use the 2 combined. If you read the back it has a bunch of other stuff in it, but it works great for my hair.
UPDATE: Because this is more cone than oil, I decided to use this to make my castor oil thinner. When I use up, I won't buy again.

I really enjoy this product because it is inexpensive, easily accessible, & just as good as other products that cost a lot more. There are caveats but not different from similar products.
--------------
SILICONES: This product is loaded with silicones & that can be very bad especially if they sit on your head or scalp. However, don't be fooled into thinking this has more silicone or is any better/worse than other brands selling the same "moroccan/argan oil" product (yeah I'm talking about the one in the fancy bottle with light blue labels). They all have silicones as the top ingredients & in the same quantities. Why not just buy the cheapest? Also, don't be fooled into thinking one oil is better than another (macadamia, argan, unicorn blood), the tiny drop of each one does not make any difference.
--------------
CAVEATS: Hair is a dead thing once is grows out of the head so it really doesn't matter to put silicone on it ... BUT with some caveats ... (1) Never load it on. I only use it once a week or so whenever I feel the effect has dissipated. (2) Never use it on the hair at the top of your head or near your scalp. This will weigh it down & clog your scalp which is the only part that is "alive." I only use it on the bottom third. (3) Make sure you use a good clarifying shampoo that actually washes it off after time otherwise it'll just keep coating & coating & eventually the bottom of your hair will be so weighed down it'll be dragging your top down as well.
--------------
HOW I USE IT: My hair is long, straight, fine & smooth at the top of my head but frizzy at the bottom to the point where I can have triangle head. This really helps my hair look straight & my head look non-triangular because I apply it only to the ends or bottom third. Then I'm good to go for about 2-3 washings. I also think this really helps protect my hair from heat damage since the silicone is coating my hair. I've used this as directed on towel-dried but still wet hair but I've also used it NOT as directed on completely dry hair. When applied on wet hair, it does have a strange drying feeling at first but when your hair actually dries, it feels great. Applied on dry hair, use only a tiny amount & it works great also.
--------------
PACKAGING: Like everyone else, I hate the hole opening since it's impossible to control this slippery liquid (that's what she said). But seriously, it's terrible & I wish it had a pump instead or a much smaller opening. Not a deal breaker though.
--------------
OVERALL: I think the scent smells a lot like old school Pantene. It's just as good as other products but a lot cheaper. The company is also cruelty-free. Make sure you use a good shampoo that cleans it off after time, don't load it on, & only use it on the bottom portions of your hair (i.e. these types of products aren't good for people with short hair). It's as simple as that.

This product works *very* well at smoothing out my frizz and making my hair look sleek and shiny but not too heavy BUT this comes at a price: this product is full of silicones and I work that with the amount I am using - my hair is quickly becoming baked in silicones.
Also, the squeeze top is not well designed, if you are not carefully you can quickly squeeze out WAY more than you need...
oh well, works great - but problematic

I bought the oil !!! and love it ..it takes very little and it does not make my hair greasy whatsoever on the ends. It does not have much a smell that i have noticed. I immediately noticed that the ends of my hair seemed more shiny and smooth i use it with the Brazilian shampoo by organix i have very thick coarse hair and this is by far on the of the better drug store products i have tried.

This is nothing more than glorified Frizz Eaze w/the argon oil drop added to go with the craze that was born from the MorrocanOil's Oil Treatment. It performed with the same bad results as Frizz Ease on my fine wavy locks. There is no moisture here...just a layer of shellac for the hair. And by now we all know that causes problems in the long run.

Honestly, I didn't want to spend the money on the other fancy Morrocan Oil, I tried that brand a few times and really liked it, but, I mean, its just a little out of my range. For the 7 bucks I spent on this product I feel it works really well.I use the 'light' oil and use just a small amount in every part of my hair except my bangs and feel like my hair definitely looks healthier. I would not doubt purchase again. Oh, the packaging would be better if it were in pump form.

Ok ladies...I am a true-blue Moroccan Oil fan. I swear it has changed my life. So when I ran out of my Moroccan Oil a few weeks ago, you can imagine how devastated I was
while trying to manage my thick, frizzy hair without it! In desperation, I drove to my local Walgreens to look for a dupe. I grabbed this Organix Moroccan Oil and had extremely low expectations from the beginning. (I have a serious hate/hate relationship with Organix products. Their shampoos and conditioners have always dried out my hair and made it look like hay.)
Anyway, I was completely surprised after using this oil. It worked very well as softening my hair and cutting down on drying time. This is no way near as good as the original Moroccan Oil but it is way better than One N' Only. It is a very light oil and won't leave your hair greasy like One N Only does. The smell is not nearly as good as Moroccan Oil either. However, my hair did look great...shiny, smooth and less frizz. Organix Moroccan Oil will do in a pinch if I should run out of the real stuff again.

Hair is so soft. I applied to towel dried damp hair, mostly to the tips, a little all over though. Blew dried my hair and it looked great. Not 100% frizz free, but after running a flat iron over it, my hair looked so good.
All day people asked if I had just gotten a haircut, which is good since I have very dry color treated hair. Tons of split ends were smoothed right out.
I paid $7 at Harris Teeter & it looks like a million bucks. continued >>

I have bleached blonde/white hair that is absolutely beautiful but hard to maintain and tends to stay dry until right around time to do it again. It's awful, but the color looks beautiful with my skin. Anyways, I soak my hair in this, literally my hair looks wet, I leave this in overnight. In the morning my hair has soaked most of it up, especially the ends, I just rinse it out and my hair doesn't feel like straw. It feels like hair!
Overall, I hate the hole at the top, the oil comes out far too fast, which is why you don't really want to use this after you blow dry ect.
I would DEFINITELY recommend this as a deep conditioner.

The original brand morrocan oil is far too pricey for me when my local beauty store sells great organic products such as this. I apply it to my hair when my hair is damp and either blowdry or air dry and the smell is like that of a field full of flowers-Fresh!. Once my hair is dry I instantaneously notice the difference- less frizz, less flyaways and full-on shine. However, I do have an issue to note with this oil; that, unlike the coconut milk anti-breakage serum, it contains silicones and the actual product we want (argan kennel oil) is rather far down the list- hence the reason for the lippy removal. This formula isn't neither light nor heavy so I can bet that with a small squeeze onto the hand and even distribution that no hair should be left heavy or greasy. I recommend using a good clarifying shampoo once every so often if using this product on a regular basis due to build-up.
