I never seem to have an interest in a celebrity perfume but when I went to Sephora and passed the Kate Walsh scents, I tried it and purchased the small spray. Honestly, I like the scent and its warm tones. Oddly enough, the first note I picked up was bourbon like! Perhaps Kate likes men that are bourbon drinkers but regardless, it has a very nice lingering aspect for my chemistry. I don't find it overpowering and didn't have to reapply it within 8 hours. I would buy this again and one point- as another poster mentioned, I also noticed a scent difference with the roller ball.

This Fragrance is So Wrong!! Kate should have named this Sugar Daddy instead of Boyfriend because it seems only befitting for a man nearing retirement... (And I'm sure it is even offensive to them). Ladies if you want to entice a Sugar Daddy, then “maybe” here is your Lure. It doesn't even smell remotely good. When I first tried it on I gagged. It reeks....Kind of remind you of Pine Sol. It just screams OLD dusty Parlors, faded wall paper, creaking stripped wood floors, and dolls with cob webs in their hair, just awful....Purchase at your own risk.

I was really looking forward to trying this fragrance because I like the concept of smelling like your boyfriend, but better. I get where Kate Walsh was going with this..but she failed miserably in my opinion. Pure sandalwood is what I got. Really harsh smell. My mom said I smelled like an old man. Yeah..definitely not what I was going for. Let me put it this way, I've never run home to take a second shower literally an hour after I just took a shower just so that I could wash off this smell. That is a first for me. Not impressed at all.

Omg!! I LOVE this fragrance! And I swear I almost didn't test it, as I didn't really like the description and the marketing for it. I know a lot of girls either love or hate this one, and I thought I would hate it. I was sooo wrong! I'm at Sephora and it's one of the ones on my list, there was only the roller ball as a tester. . I tested it on my wrist and practically melted. It smells so warm and woody and just cozy. This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for. I've been on the hunt for warm, cozy fall/winter fragrance and I found it! I then asked the SA for the spray tester and she found it, I sprayed on a strip. Not quite as warm as the roller ball, too sharp...hmmm oh there's a dry oil spray!!! I ended up getting the rollerball as I'm not sure how the dry oil is gonna be, but I'm putting it on my Xmas list. I love this, great warm woodsy scent! Oh and not sure about the boyfriend part, I feel like all men as a whole population smell like Aqua de Gio, my bf doesn't buy it but when I think "man" I think of cologne like that. I wished my bf could smell like this haha.

Argh argh argh. it's a sandalwood monster. It's all sandalwood with faint, faint notes like an edge of sweet orange and possibly a vanilla base. I get no hint of men's cologne as advertised, just a very 80s sweet sandalwood vanilla scent. It's not bad, and might be a comfort scent for sandal lovers, but sooooo not me and unimpressive. Just nothing new or different and oh M gee, too much sandalwood.

I would say this reacts well to my body chemistry, but I like the smell right out of the bottle, and it doesn't change much when it's ON me. So perhaps it's just my cup of tea.

Far from being a purely masculine, musky scent, this has a hint of sweetness and an undercurrent of spicy warmth, so it's totally feminine on my skin. I used the rollerball, with one small roll on each wrist, and about half an hour later, one of my neighbors in the elevator said, "I don't want this to sound totally creepy, but you smell really nice." That was nice since I was in gym clothes and should have smelled like a sock.

This smells warmer and more feminine than Billionaire Boyfriend, which conjures images of 1980's power suits and board rooms, a la Working Girl. The closest scent to this that I can think of would be Tom Ford Black Orchid, only that one sometimes can smell a bit cloyingly of melon.

This is way to masculine smelling for my taste. It smells like it should be a men's colonge, and I just don't like the woodsy patchouli notes in it.

It must be my body chemistry, but I actually love this perfume lol! I got a sample from Sephora and when my mom came home she was raving about how wonderful I smelled. I went to see my boyfriend not much later and he said I smelled really good. Some people can't seem to get the smell away, but I'd say it lasts a good few hours and then you can only smell it if you stick your wrist next to your nose. I guess it's just one of those scents that reacts badly to a lot of people's chemistry, but it sure does like mine!

I adore this perfume. I first learned of it through a sample from Sephora, so I tried it out and I swear everywhere I went that day people were telling me I smelled so good, and they were wanting to know what I was wearing. I had to go buy this perfume! It's unlike anything I've ever smelled before, it's not overpowering at all and it's just lovely to wear every day. I'm not a huge fan of the price, but that's ok - you don't need much of this perfume anyway, so it does last a while. Will buy this again!
