I got a sample of this. It is not my correct color so I did mix it with another foundation to make it work. I do not know if that changed it too much for me to give a complete review of it or not. I do like this foundation though. I think for the price it gives good, even coverage that lasts. I would like to try this again in my correct shade and see if my review changes any.

I just bought this today, tried it on when i came home and applied with an elf studio blush brush. It took about two full pumps to get full coverage. One pump seems like it distributes too much product, but the product is in the watery side. The foundation is very blendable, doesnt feel greasy/oily, and doesnt take a long time to dry. This foundation is oil free so its good for all oily skinned and acne prone skin. Thats a big pro for me, another is that it is paraben free! I wish this was fragrance free... i instantly noticed a strong smell once applied and ive been wearing this for three hours and i still have a headache because of the scent. Thats probably the biggest con. I love how it covers acne and acne marks perfectly. This isnt cakey to heavy. After three bottles of estee lauder double wear, i decided to switch because i was tired of the cakey look abd having a tough time everg single night removing this. I got this for $11 at sephora i guess this is going to be discontinued soon because the original price was $26. Ill update on whether or not i break out, how easily it is to wash off, and how long this wears. But so far i really like it.

I have very acne prone oily skin, but this covered my blemishes very well, and has great long lasting coverage, although I have to used blotting wipes 1-2 times at day at school. I have been looking for a long time to find a foundation that works for me, and I think this might be it! It has a great pump but the top can come off very easily if you carry it in your purse or something. IT CAN BE VERY ORANGE IF YOU HAVE THE WRONG COLOR. When I went to Sephora, I asked them to do a foundation check where they actually put some on my face to check that the tones match, and it looks fabulous. Overall, a great product!

This product disappointed me. I needed full coverage foundation that looked natural but this foundation made my face look cakey with the slightest amount of product i used. :(

I love this product, but I can not find a color light enough for me. I tried it at Sephora and went out to an event and was not able to blot or touch up all night really (which was about 4 hours) and I put power on once all night. Would recommend this product

This foundation didn't really go well with my oily skin. First of all I didn't like how it dries so quickly and it was really hard to blend. My skin looked good at first but within a couple off hours my skin would get oily and it would oxidise and slide off my face making it look so disgusting. This foundation is definately NOT for oily skin.

My best friend recently bought this and I wanted to give it a try. It was terrible!! It just sat on my face, enhancing any fine hair I had. I am 20, without a trace of a wrinkle, but this foundation settled into my laugh line creases. It looked like I was wearing stage makeup to make me look 10 years older. It was terrifying. I couldn't wait to get home and wash it off. It was oily and transferred everywhere.

I have mixed feelings about this foundation. Let me start off by saying I have OILY, ACNE-PRONE SKIN! I have tried everything from NARS, MAC, BOBBY BROWN, MUFE HD,to REVLON COVER GIRL, etc. My skin has been acting up real REAL bad lately, I have acne scarring, and cystic acne (again). I used it once, and the next day I had pimples on the apples of my cheeks. BUT I love the COVERAGE and STAYING POWER. I used to blot atleast 3-5 times a day, with this I blot about 2x. The finish is matte, so if you have dry skin, I definetly would not recommend this. I am trying to work on my skin before I can really really rate this product.. Because I want to LOVE IT! TRUST ME, if you have oily skin, and not acne prone, GO FOR IT! THE PRICE IS JUST RIGHT!

I have been very pleased with this product. I have acne marks, and this covers great. I would usually use compact makeup because it would cover these marks better, but now that I've found this liquid, I might switch over completely. This is expensive, but it matches my skin tone perfectly and it only takes one to two pumps to get the coverage I want.

I bought this a couple days ago and loved it. Not only is reasonably priced (I used to pay $32.00/bottle for another brand), but it gives coverage and has great staying power. My skin can get a bit oily from time to time and this product stays place for me. One thing I will point out, though, is that you gotta blend it in right away. If you don't, the product gets very cakey very quickly and won't go on as smoothly. Great buy, though!

This foundation wasn't perfect coverage like the name suggests but I really love this. It gives a medium coverage and it's very liquidy so easy to blend out. My skin looked very natural and evenly coloured after applying this foundation and it was not cakey at all like most foundation/concealer look on my skin. The foundation photographs very well and it doesn't break me out or worsen acnes. I liked how it came with a pump and a lid because it really keeps the germs out that way. Also this foundation will last you for a long time

I got the lightest shade and it was too dark and yellow for my skin. It also make my skin look chalky and was really cakey. It did not look natural at all. I went back to my old brand, Revlon Color Stay, after only two uses. Revlon is half the price this was.

I'm surprised by the number of good reviews on this. I rarely write negative reviews, but I could NOT get this to work for me. I bought this today at Sephora looking for a cheaper full coverage foundation. When I got home I tried applying it several different ways and it just never ended up looking good. I tried fingers, beauty blender, and sephora #55 brush. I actually have my skin feeling pretty rough from washing my face so much tonight. Back to my HG EL double wear tomorrow. So wanted to love it, just didn't.

This isn't bad, it didn't break me out at all or anything. (Even when sleeping with it on once or twice) The price is fantastic at only $26. The color 'Light' was too fair for me so I mix it with a darker foundation as well, and the coverage is about medium or buildable, and well I suppose you could manipulate it to be of light coverage. It does even out the skin tone well enough, it definitely looks better than nothing at all. It's definitely not cakey in any regard, so if you're a fan of even skin tones and a natural look, this is for you.
Overall, I guess it's worth a try for the price. It's not cakey, has buildable coverage, and didn't break me out, so if you're into inexpensive foundations I suppose this is for you. But I'm quite fair and I have to mix 'Light' with a darker foundation, so you may need to manipulate the color a bit. It's drugstore quality.
It's just so-so. If you like the price, buy it, but if you want something more high quality, HG and that is highly reccomended by people like juicystar07, try the Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation.
This is worth a try if you like the price and a natural look, but it's only so-so.

One of the best foundation I have ever tried, but not perfect so far.
Pros:
1. Very good medium to full coverage. It covers really very well. I can't stand these tinted, lightweight foundations that are mainly water and you need to waste a lot of product to get decent coverage.
2. Have wide range of skin tones to choose, comparing to drugstore make up.
3. Smooth ad moisturizing: I don't know how it sets to lines for some people. I got some fine lines around the mouth and it didn't emphasize them.
4. Very gentle and really non irritating. This is very important for people with sensitive, allergic skin. Many foundations became unusable, because they broke me out.
5. It is so gentle that I use it as a concealer around the eyes- why pay for small concealer tubes when you have foundation and concealer in one? Mine was with yellow undertone - perfect for covering dark, violet circles under eyes.
6. Long lasting coverage - ıf you set with powder it will last all day.
7. Hygienic pump - very easy to adjust a right amount. Great!
8. Not drying, but matte.
9. Price is Ok, compared with other foundations from Sephora, although I wish it would be cheaper.
Now bad sides of this ''perfecting'' foundation
Cons:
1. If you are pale, you probably get a headache when looking for a good foundation. Most of companies make foundations with pink undertone, but what to do for these who have pale, but warm toned skin?
Oh well, the lightest shade has yellow undertone. But it's really too dark and looks more orange! If you use suncream, moisturizer etc. beware that foundation will oxidize!
2. May look cakey if don't blend well. If skin is very flaky and dry, it is going to be very very cakey and look just horrible.
3. If you aren't used to medium coverage foundations and you need a light coverage only, go for light tinted versions, because this foundation is going to be too heavy.
I felt happy to find a yellow based, non irritating and full coverage foundation, but I am slightly disappointed of the lightest shade, which is too yellow.
Update: I stopped using a foundation all together. I looked at myself multiple times in the sun and I saw its really orange! I wont use it anymore or buy it again.

Let me start off by saying that I have been blessed with pretty normal skin. I do get acne from time to time (more so in the summer) but nothing to write home about and the marks disappear on their own overtime. My wholly grail everyday foundation is Makeup Forever face and body. I bought this foundation after using and loving the concealer that goes with it.
This foundation is medium coverage but it is build-able. I use my Sigmax F80 to apply. One pump should do your entire face. I have dry (winter) to normal skin so I always make sure my skin is moisturized very well. Some days I use a primer. I did play around with it without moisturizing one evening and my skin looked horrible. I don't have large pores but without moisturizing they are visible with this foundation. I bought two colors hazelnut and mahogany and both shades carry throughout the year (which is great for $44). It lasts all day.
I would definitely recommend this foundation. I've used the darker color on a friend of mine, along with the concealer, and it looked fabulous on her as well.
I would say the key to this foundation is a good moisturizer, I think even with oily skin, moisturize first and add primer and powder as needed and you should be fine. I don't see this working as well for mature skin since it can tend to sink into fine lines but if you have a primer that works well, then you should have no problem.
I don't know how this will hold up during the summer months it's worked wonderfully any other time..

I bought this from a clearance at sephora for $8 I think the normal price would be somewhere between $15 to $20 . For the price I think this is an excellent foundation ! no kidding ! Offers medium to full coverage ! Has very good coverage surprisingly enough!! Sets to a beautiful matte but luminous finish not dry powdery finish at all . Has very good lasting power as well . Has a very creamy texture more on the thick side but blends beautifully and effortless. The key with this foundation is USE A LITTLE ! no lie! one pump can do my entire face. If I use more than a single pump this foundation ends up looking thick and cakey . I think this also requires a bit more blending than usual otherwise sets in lines a little bit. I dont even use powder to set it and this lasts fresh looking for a good 6 hours .If you have oily skin you will need for sure an oil absorbing powder to set it. This foundation has a quite rich creamy so it can pretty much be used by anyone except maybe from very dry or very oily skins .The shade selection is huge but not impressive I have it in the color moyen medium and Im NC25-30 its not an exact much for me but I can make it work.. I think for a drugstore foundation and for the price its a very good product and very comparable to other more expensive ones

I had had my eye om this product for a while because it claimed to do everythmg I was wanting-high definition,smooth/cover pores, have full coverage and be longwearing and oil controling-being only fourteen I was used to using drugstore foundatios which were cheap and broke me out (with an exception of about one) so I decided to finally spend my own money on it. For 22 dollars it didnt seem so expensive compared to others but to a drugstore girl its quite expensive so a assured myself that if it was high end and expensive than it will do exactly what it says...i was wrong ,it provided me with medium coverage that was cakey and not buildable also it would sink into my pores. The other thing about it is that it vontrolled my oil

I'm an esthetician and I am really picky about my makeup. I bought this on a whim because I was doing makeup for a wedding for myself mom and sister. In esthetics school a teacher of mine said she really liked Sephora brand makeup. I had never really considered it, but I've always remembered she said that (and considering that Sephora sells some top of the line brands, I figured that their makeup had to be decent at the very least considering competitors in their own store). Turns out, I really, really like this foundation. It is non-comedogenic, meaning it doesn't clog pores. With a finishing powder over it, it looks flawless. My only problem is that I can't get away with wearing it all day without a touch up (unless I use a primer, which I use Urban Decay De Slick). I have oily skin, but my mom who has normal skin, doesn't have to touch up during the day, and her makeup stays in place.

I have some friends who currently work at Sephora and I was asking them about a good reasonably priced foundation and one of them recommended this. I really like Estee Lauder's Double Wear because my skin is still pretty oily at 40 but it's kinda pricey. I wear NC25 in MAC Studio Fix and Sand Beige in Colorstay for reference. We both decided that the Claire/Light shade was the best for me for the coming winter months. The texture of this is interesting. It did not go on like a matte type foundation yet it wore a lot like Colorstay for me. It also appears to be buildable which is nice but I would caution going to heavy as it could look masky. I know the previous reviewer noted that it made their skin very oily but I did not have that problem. I did not wear a moisturizer today because I wanted to see how it wore through out the day. It lasted almost all day and into the evening for me with one minor blotting during the day. This gave me good coverage and staying power. The color is just a wee light for me right now but by October I'm betting it will be perfect. So far I really like this foundation.
