I have combination/acne prone skin... Really does a good job at making my pores look way smaller! But, I do not believe this is for Dry skin, it makes dry spots look worse!.. Would be perfect for oily skin type... Will not repurchase to Drying on my skin.

I love using this primer for many many reasons. As well as evening my skin tone, it undeniably fills my pores and fine lines (I have too many for a 24 year old.)

It makes my skin look fresh and feel soft, without feeling and looking oily

It DOES make my make up last all day

And I feel it helps the overall quality of my skin.

As it is a ‘Photogenic’ product, I am always taking an extra close look at pictures of myself. I have found that they do look much more floorless and natural. I will say however, that this is providing you don’t use too much of the primer. If you use too much your face will reflect any flash used, and you can become a little washed out. One pump of this product should be enough… and all that means is it will last longer and you will get your money’s worth from it.

I always use to believe that primers were useless, greasy horrible products. NYX have proved me wrong. I now believe I am loyal to this product, as I find it difficult to leave the house without wearing it.

It is simple to apply. I just use my finger over my T-Zone and the buff it in using a kabuki brush.

So, if you are looking for a new easy to use primer, that does what it says on the tin, I would certainly recommend this one.

Worst primer I've ever tried, and still on the hunt for a cheaper alternative to Smashbox. I'm very pale (MAC doesn't make a shade light enough for me, closest match I've found is Nars Sheer Glow in Siberia but it's too yellow and slightlyyy too dark) and this STILL leaves a white cast on me. It dries so fast it's akin to trying to spread elmer's glue on your face, forcing you to use a ton of product. It feels tacky forever afterwards, and provides no slip for anything to go on top of it. It doesn't help my makeup look any better or last any longer. I tried using it as another reviewer described to lighten foundation, and it felt tacky still. Not worth your money, I promise.

Unfortunately this primer did not work for me. It did make my makeup last longer but it made me break out badly. I also like the packing (it comes with a pump) lastly I forgot to add that I have acne prone skin so maybe it would work for someone who's skin isn't so sensitive as mine.

Based from my skin type (oily, acne prone and sensitive) i wont buy this product anymore and kinda regret to buy it. It's about 20$ in my country and i bought it because i need something to make my foundation long lasting. But when first time i use this, my skin react badly. Itchy and start to red adn the day after, my acne became worst (my skin was mad, i think). This product not recommended for everyone who has skin type like mine.

I've been using this primer for one week and so far, so good. This fills my pores, makes my foundation go on really smooth and helps it last longer. Works well with my Lily Lolo mineral foundation.
But I need to say: I'm real white so I didn't notice any white cast. No breakups for now. Also, this is my first primer ever, so I don't know exactly what should I expect.
Packaging is great. Easy to pump out the amount you want and the pump's nozzle never gets clogged.

This is one of those products that does a good job for it's purpose, but has a terrible side effect. I've been using it a few weeks and about a week after I started using it I started noticing clogged pores on my face, a few days later the pimples started! It has a tacky feel to it kinda like a very thin Elmer's glue. It keeps my foundation on my face and non faded for at least two-thirds of the day, and even after that it gives a good fight. I've decided to go ahead and discontinue use on this stuff because of the skincare issues it's giving me, Only two stars because it's great for eyeshadow too, which is what I'll use the rest of it for..

I was looking for a go to primer (I was using Philosophy The Present as a primer, but got tired of spending so much), and picked this up at ULTA for 40% off. So here we go..

The consistency is a little off putting. I wouldn't say its like Elmer's glue (I think I saw that in some other reviews), maybe color wise, but it's definitely thinner than that. I am very pale, and I agree with the other comments about the white cast it seems to give. I actually LIKE that though. It really helps my foundation blend a little better with my natural skin tone. It fills pores well, but that's about it. I may just have high expectations for a primer, but this doesn't make the cut overall.

My biggest complaints are how much you have to use to get coverage. Mostly because it dries WAY too fast, which makes it difficult to get a nice even layer on. I don't feel like it does enough to perfect the look of my foundation. Does is do something? Sure. It just doesn't live up to my expectations. Yesterday, I was trying to juggle getting two kids ready for school and myself. I ended up having to use more than I would have had I not been in a hurry. I gave it plenty of time to dry, but it still rolled up under my foundation. I know that's my fault for putting "too much" on, but I would like something a little more user friendly.

I will finish the bottle since I already bought it, but I won't be buying it again.


****just wanted to come back in and let yall know how I have been using this. I am very pale, and I have been using this mixed into my foundation to lighten it up a bit. I love it! It works perfectly at lightening the shade up a bit, and I actually like the finish of my foundation even more when I add this.

I really want to like this primer, but I have to say I don't see any difference in the staying power of my makeup with this. It is a bit tacky and very white, much like Elmer's Glue. I've been using this for months to try and use it all up, and I'm still not convinced. However, it does smooth out pores nicely!
