Clean, Girls shower gel uses the Mist You Madly scent, but it’s somehow milkier and biscuitier in this form. I actually prefer this iridescent shower cream to the classic Clean on Me, the scent of which I’m rather over-exposed to, being a user of Hand Food and The Righteous Butter. The colour of this product is simply beautiful – a mother of pearl, glimmering pale pink. Edible, slightly masculine, and not at all drying to my normal/sensitive skin. I really like using this.

This review is for the Clean, Girls Body Wash.
The product packaging is extremely cute...it comprises of recreated soap ads from the 50's.
It comes in a large bottle with a convenient pump.
Even the colour of the product is unique in itself. The soap is an iridescent pink colour; almost like the inside of a sea shell.
As for the product quality...not good. The soap is extremely drying. I very seldomly experience dry skin from a body wash, but this product did dry out my skin. I ended up placing the body wash on my bathroom counter to be used as a hand soap, however it is also exremely drying to your hands. Almost everyone who uses it in my bathroom has commented that the soap is overdrying.
The product ridiculously over-priced, probably due to the fancy packaging.
Would definitely not repurchase.

I bought this in July on my last trip to London, and I'm now only halway through the bottle! It really lasts a long way, as both my boyfriend and I use it a couple of times a day.
When I smelled the product from the bottle before buying it I thought it was a bit strong but it doesn't smell that strongly when you put it on a shower glove and apply it. It gives a nice foam and the smell doesn't linger on your skin, which I like because, beeing such a cosmetic addict, I also use a body butter which has a completely different smell.
I will repurchase this product without any hesitation as it lasts so long, but also because the bottle is super cute and has this vintagey look I love so much (make me think a lot about Benefit, actually).

This a nice shower gel, it doesnt dry my skin out and it smells quite nice, better than a lot of other Soap & Glory products. The bottle is pretty big so it lasts for a while and it has a pump dispenser which I like. continued >>

this is amazing. it smells great you get loads and loads for your money. i got this for christmas one year and each time i showered/or had a bath i used this and it lasted to the middle of march!!!!!!!!!

I like the packaging and the fact it's a 500ml bottle which lasts quite a while. Initially I adored the smell but it has since worn off and now I'm not too fussed. In fact, I try to avoid it. It has notes of bergamot, blackcurrant, magnolia, freesia, vanilla and musk.
It's thick and creamy and doesn't lather into huge amounts, especially when used directly on skin, which means it's not totally stripping your skin of moisture. But you are instead using alot of product.
The smell lasts for a good while and my skin is soft after using it. I won't be repurchasing simply because my nose has grown tired of the smell and I wish it would lather better rather than having to use a shower puff all the time (and even then, it's not great)

WARNING this product is addictive lol! I have always overlooked S&G's shower gels as I consider them quite expensive given the rate I go through shower gel (Clean Girls comes in a large 500ml pump and costs Ł5.87 at Boots) But it came in a Christmas gift set and I gave it a try. Am now hooked on its beautiful smell ("Mist you madly") and it's rich creamy foaminess - pure luxury. Amazingly you need only 2 pumps on a body puff to get perfectly cleansed and beautifully soft skin. You are left smelling gorgeous and don't need to use a body cream every day - so it saves loads of time and is cost effective. Highly recommend using it on the huge S&G body puff as it exfoliates gently and really holds the product so you use less. A bottle of this lasts a very long time! Will definately repurchase and look forward to trying "Clean on me". Sceptics go try it.....................! continued >>
