I bought this along with a few other Shatters and they dried out in less than 6 months. I also have Crackle and they seem to be a better value since they are cheaper and don't dry out so fast, if they dry out at all. I WONT be buying Shatter again.

OPI's Shatter nail polish is foolproof to apply and the look is exactly as advertized, which doesn't happen very often! I loved Black Shatter so much I went back to Sally's and bought several other colors. I had so much fun experimenting and I got loads of compliments! Why the lackluster rating then? Well, within about 2 months they all dried out! completely useless! I was so disappointed and had to throw them out. I suppose I would buy again if I was planning to use it all in a short period of time.

This product works perfectly until it doesn't work at all.

I usually love OPI but I would defintely not rebuy this product. It's fun at first but in a matter of weeks it is good for the trash bin as it becomes thick and just unusable. I haven't had such problems with another brand's crackle.

I love the cracle effect, but it is very greasy and dries too fast!

I bought this product from a clearance show for $12 dollars and i love it so much When i bought it i was not sure because of my silver shatter fail but black shattter is so awesome and you should definatly buy it

Cool polish. Looks great on the nails. Got easily bored of it. Chips easily.

The shatter doesn't look nice on tiny nails, and it requires a pretty huge nail to ensure much shattering even occur. Some people were mortified on what happened to my nails, apparently, it just looked like black nail polish that wasn't applied properly. Wouldn't purchase it anymore, and would love to sell my twice used bottle.

I love this stuff! so happy and its the best shatter opi has (the others don't seperate as well). I might actually go so far as to say that it is the only SHATTER they have, the others are more "crackles". I would buy the black shatter from opi again but any other color i would just get a cheaper crackle. My only complaint is that it dries very fast and so the formula in the bottle thickens and becomes difficult to use (depending on how often you use it though, mine has been used alot).

I don't know with this product? Sometimes the cracks give a really awesome shatter effect, especially over bright colours like blue or hot pink. But some of the time a couple of my nails didn't really crack properly and it was just like thin streaks down my nails of the colour underneath instead of proper cracking? However, when it does crack properly I love the effect, I wore it to work once and got tons of compliments from random people so I would buy it again. I do honestly think it's better than the cheap ones.
