Soo I gave this product a 2 because it doesn't correct anything on my skin like it said it would. I also gave it a 2 instead of a 0 because even though it may not correct, but it gives a kind of nice finish over my foundation. I bought it for 8 dollars and for that price i was not satisfied at allll . I think this would be better for a more fair tone or a dark mediumish color

One word: terrible. I was drawn to this product based on the claim that it is correcting, however this product does not help even out my skin tone in the slightest bit.I have oily skin and I find that the shimmer in this product exaggerates the look of it; it makes me shiny beyond belief. I suppose one could use this as a pretty highlighter, but it's supposed to be corrective and that is my issue with this product. Simply put, it's a waste of money.

I actually like this. I only use this for my mid day touch up...the time of day when your makeup starts looking not so fresh. I apply it with my Bambuki brush all over my face and it gives my face a pick me up. I don't find it shimmery at all...just a nice nonchalant glow.

i rarely if ever give bad reviews, and i really didnt want to on this product, but PF promises so much and delivers so little.
i bought this 75% off, so im sure its discontinued, and i'm not really surprised. it promises to cover imperfections and brighten your skin. but what i dont understand is how could something so shimmery cover imperfections? putting shimmer on a pimple only makes it stand out more! so actually what i did was pick out all the green 'pebbles' and put them.. away. after applying moisturizer i gave this the ultimate test... putting it on without foundation. i have a pretty uneven skin town that is somewhat dry and blotchy. i have some acne scars on my chin and a few other redder areas on my cheeks. the one positive thing about this product is that it did brighten my naked face and gave it a bit of dewy-ness. it makes a decent all over face highlighter/shimmer that will definitely come in handy.
for 3 bucks it's not bad. full price is ridiculous. i want so badly to like this line because of it being mineral makeup and all, but the products i have tried are nothing spectacular and definitely not worth the price. and for some reason all their applicators suck.
overall.. if you can get it on clearance it's worth a shot as it seems to work differently for different people.

I love this! I have red skin and it colors the red amazing. I also use it over my foundation for a dewy look over my colorstay for oily combination and the foundation gives a matte look and this on top of my foundation looks luminious and looks extremely natural. It doesnt cover but is color correcting in combination of your foundation than just your foundation alone

Got this 75% off, so i think it ended up being like two or three bucks, totally worth it for the price. There are not a lot of pebbles, that said, they are thick and if you crushed them into a loose powder you would have a lot of product. I like this because it has a luminousity without shininess that suits me. i wear it over spf 50 PF tinted mousturizer that i also got 75% off. id prob buy again but not at full price.

I bought this for 75% off from CVS. I bought this as a highlighter. It doesn't work as well as my Revlon Brighten but it's nice and subtle for daytime. I have to admit that I'd would never pay full price for this but it's definitely worth a couple of bucks.

*EDIT - After using this for a couple of weeks I must say I have fallen in love with this product. I love the luminosity that it gives me without glitter. I would pay full price for this and will probably have too as I went back to CVS the next day to get more and they were all gone. continued >>

I purchased this at Ulta for $13.99 with a $5 coupon I had, so really I paid $8.99. I had heard so much about the Guerlain meotorites, and was hoping this was a cheap dupe for them. First, there doesn't seem to be much product in the container, and considering you're paying $14 for a drugstore item, you would think there would be a little more product. In the container there are just enough pebbles to cover the bottom. Then there is a giant blue puff on top of the pebbles to keep them in their place so they don't shake around. On top of the puff is a little ribbon where a cheap multicolored brush fits. I haven't even bothered to use it to apply the pebbles. It seems thin and scratchy. I use a face brush of my own to apply the pebbles. They give my skin a nice sheer glow, but nothing too amazing. I was hoping for a little bit more than just a little sparkle and glow.

I bought this product because it was on sale at Target, and I have been looking for a product with green in it to correct redness. The pebbles disappointed me because, like others have said, there is not much in the package and they are very messy and difficult to apply. There isn't much pigmentation, but the finish looks nice and dewey on my skin. After applying a generous amount, it helps even out my skin tone a bit, but since I only got a few green pebbles i don't feel that it completely solves my redness problem. I will not repurchase it again and will probably save up for Guerlain Meteorites instead.

There are hardly any pebbles in this container, and they fall out easily. I'd prefer the round pebble shape in a deeper container like Guerlain does. It's so freaking expensive for what you actually get. $15???

So I got this because I couldn't find my usual correcting powder (E.L.F. Complexion Perfection). I also wanted to try something made in the USA, as I'm still leary of cosmetics that are made in China. So this one seemed to have the same claims, and considering that sometimes PF has some decent products, I decided to buy it.
First off, I already was aware of PF's packaging and applicator "issues", so I can't say it surprised me to have a cheap, scratchy brush, or a useless puff. I threw them away and got out my beloved Kabuki brush. I swept it over the pebbles and applied like a mineral powder. It didn't do as much as I'd hoped, or even as much as ELF did. I noticed the shimmer (which, IMO, was a little much, but still do-able), and I did notice it brightened my skin out just a touch. I took a green pebble out and applied it like chalk to a red area of my face. It DID help a bit. I wasn't too crazy about how the pebbles were slightly crushed towards the bottom, and the dust flew out of the container, even when it's shut! I can't say I plan on taking this when I travel.
I decided to use this up, but I don't plan on repurchasing. A little shimmer isn't worth $12 to me. While I'm still on the fence about ELF, I don't think this is a worthy alternative.

When I saw all these new products from PF, I attacked. Not only do I like PF products, but I love mineral makeup. So, I really like this, although I do agree with the other reviewer that said it's pretty gimicky. However, I found it to work really well as a finishing powder, offering some glow, but not a ton of shimmer.

Oh, Physicians Formula. They have the most ludicrous claims and some regrettable bombs (the old green correcting lotion made me fit for Wicked, hated the blotchy water powder from years ago.) But they also make some pretty nice powder highlighters, blushes, and bronzers. However, even though I really wanted to like Mineral Correcting Pebbles, I am just not feeling it.
Here's what PF has to say:

Here's my take.
THE GOOD: The finish--blends into absolute invisibility. It doesn't look chalky at all. I think it would be a really nice finishing powder. It has super, super subtle fine shimmer, but I mean it--it's really not noticeable. I also wear Mineral Glow Mineral Pearls, and those are very subtle; next to Correcting Pebbles, the pearls look like a disco ball.
The texture--fine, powdery but pretty silky.
THE BAD: The coverage--it's absolutely invisible. It doesn't correct crap. I might wear it alone if I ever had a totally perfect skin day and just wanted to wear a luminous powder. But other than that? It's useless at addressing any imperfections.
THE UGLY: The packaging--bulky and I don't think it's an effective design. It looks like there should be a lot more product in here. Unfortunately, there's only enough pebbles to cover the bottom of the container, and the rest of the space is devoted to a puff AND a brush. I don't use puffs and the brush is too scratchy.
The scent--it's kind of potent. I'm not sure what the scent is supposed to be, exactly; floral, I guess? I wasn't expecting it because none of my non-Happy Booster PF powders have a noticeable scent. It's a turnoff.
All of my finishing powders get more love than this one, for good reason. Tossing it.
