This product is heaven on earth. It makes my hair soft and shiny without weighing it down. Perfect for taming the ends. I really notice the difference when I don't use this product. I have long hair and I find that one pump is more than enough product. Remember to warm it in your hands before you apply it.
I just cannot shell out this much money for hair oil! i really love the lightness of it and the rose scent is quite nice. it left me hair very smooth and not weighed down at all (i used on wet hair). but again, $96.00 bucks for 4 oz? yikes! i am going to try and find pure argan oil on amazon. Oh-this also was so light that i couldnt detangle my hair very well like the oils below.
my all time favorite is enjoys hair and skin treatment oil. affordable, smells awesome, amount is generous for the price (about $35.00). 2nd runner up is Biosilk. Both deliver in terms of smoothing out my bleached highlights. Hair oil definitely speeds up the drying time also. I prefer the scent of Biosilk but if you use too much on fine hair it can get greasy. I always use this on WET hair, it also helps getting the brush through to detangle also.
Bottom Line: I really LOVE this oil but really, over priced and there are comparable dupes out there for much less.
Hmmm to repurchase is the question??? I love this stuff the scent is amazing and when I flat iron my hair it looks so good, soft, and healthy. But the price is a little crazy in my opinion is it amazing yes. Does my One N Only Argan oil work just as well? Yes and no it's a different feeling with Josie's hair serum it's much lighter than most serums. It leaves your hair light and soft where as the One N Only leaves a more glossier finish. I don't know why there is a difference but there is I would think because of the silicones in the Josie Maran.
So would I repurchase this yes I think I would but when I run out will I run to Sephora no, when I find there are less expensive oils that get the job done. What is great about the JM is it does feel luxurious and I really like that. You can tell your using a high quality product that's for sure. I have very long hair so I don't know if I can afford this all the time but it is something I think a girl should treat herself to. I will recommend this to friends.

Ive tried many hair oils and this one is in the best! probably also the most expensive.. it doesnt weigh my fine hair down and gives lots of shine - but ive had to abandon it to find something more affordable! This little bottle went down super fast!!
I have extremely thick, long wavy hair and need a shine product that covers without being greasy and aids in flat ironing and defrizzing. This is great because it covers well, creates great shine but has no heavy grease. The scent is a fresh, sunny rose-geranium scent, which is refreshing compared to the typical hair scents you find.
I accidentally bought this product when I meant to pick up another bottle of Josie Maran's 100% Argan Oil. When I realized what I bought, I almost returned it to Sephora. Luckily, I decided to give it a try instead - and boy I'm sure glad I did! I'm now obsessed with this hair oil! It's great for taming unruly treases, smoothing fly-away strands, and giving hair loads of shine. I use it in my hair during the drying process, and also before I do any heat styling. I love it because it has a similar effect to putting the 100% Argan Oil in my hair, but without the weight!

I just found my holy grail product, hands down.
While I haven't been using it for long, & I will obviously have to come back & edit if anything changes...thus far I have not had a single poor outcome from this serum! I even used a bit too much currently since my ends are still a bit drab/frayed, & no greasiness in sight :)
I've found that using it on dry hair gives me better results, since that helps the flat iron glide through it more smoothly than if I never put it in there when dry, but I also put a small bit on the ends when damp as to better help the moisture soak into my hair.
Every time I go blonde it seems to come with a host of issues (you think I would have learned my lesson by now! haha), & while my hair is hardly as bad as it was a few years back, I don't want it to slip into that damaged, dry, frazzled territory ever again. I was on the search for a good heat protectant & everything I used seemed to be alright for some time but then fall short (Garnier moroccan oil, Miracle 7 oil from Sally's, etc), so I stopped by Sephora on my way out of the mall. I originally grabbed a bottle of the flat iron spray from the Alterna Bamboo line, but the rep from the Josie Maran line was there so I talked to her for a bit. I was so surprised when she placed the oil on my hand & after rubbing it in for a moment it really did sink in & disappear. Normally other serums just sit there, forever, so to know that it is actually capable of sinking into my hair is amazing (not something I've actually been able to test scientifically of course, but seeing as how my hair drinks it up & never gets overly greasy from it...I'll just put it out there as hypothetically sinking in haha).
Of course, it's 30 bucks a bottle, so $30 for 2 oz. isn't exactly chump change.Especially being a poor college grad working a part time job to get some money for grad school ;) But, the sales rep told me that the bottle she had lasted her for 9 months, & her hair is wayyy longer than mine (which is something of an asymmetrical pixie cut). So we shall see :)
Until I see any less than amazing results, then I will update if they should happen. But, hopefully they will continue to be good :)
Overall Rating: 5
Price: 3 (still pretty pricey, but if it really lasts that long, then it's still a pretty good deal).
Packaging: 5
Would you buy this again: Yes
*Note:
If people are wondering about the added silicones, it's because it's necessary for heat protection. If it was just oil then there is a chance that after applying it to your hair & you used heat products, it may literally fry your hair. Such is the same if you were to put pure olive oil or coconut oil on your hair & then attempt to use heat; your hair would fry. So, silicones are needed to make sure that your hair won't be fried by the oil also included within the serum. :) continued >>

I like this product but I don't love it. I tried using it on damp hair and all it did was gunk up my hair. I don't think this is meant to be used on damp hair which is annoying because most argan oil products you can use before and after styling.I used this product on dry hair, and it works better than. It smooths down the frizz and makes the hair shiny. I would repurchase this product again because I've used argan products that I can use before and after that are just as effective as this without the major price tag.

I am a big JM fan but did not care for this hair serum. It didn't really reduce frizz - I was left with weighed down frizz. I like the packaging, though - love that it comes with a pump. I think that MorOil and Enjoy are better alternatives.
I bought a small version of these at Sephora and I'm glad I didn't bought the normal size! The packaging is very practical and easy to dispense and use. I get the bottle with 15 ml/1/2 fl.oz. and I donīt think this works different than any other drugstore oil.
I heard great things about this, but for me this didn't make any difference. I got this in Mexico, and it cost me $180 pesos, about 15 usd dollars...and for what I paid I could have bought so many bottles of something similar or better quality at Sally's.
So I don't recommend this just because it is too expensive for what it does, add a little shine and help a little with frizz. Better save your money, skip this and got to Sally!!!
