It's a good thing Walgreen's lets you return makeup products, because I've gone through about five colors of this trying to find something suitable. Looking at it in the tube, the colors all look alike and there's no way to tell how dark or intense they are. The display doesn't help nor does their website, where, among other sins, Perpetual Peach, a very light color, looks dark brown.
That said, I like Forever Frappe, a medium-intensity, matte, neutral choice that lasts 2-3 hours.

Love, love, love this lipstick. I only have one so far, Molten Caramel I think it is. I was skeptical, long wearing lipsticks and glosses are so hit and miss for me. This one is a winner. Applies so smoothly, feels great, wonderfully pigmented, doesn't dry my lips at all, and wears a long, long time. Looks so beautiful. I am going to buy several more colors of this. I highly recommend it.

OK, so generally I like these pretty well, but there are a couple of drawbacks overall.
First - the formula of the products itself. Well pigmented, applies smoothly, wears well (but not the 10 hours claimed) and fades gradually without leaving a "ring" of colour. No tackiness that I can detect (I hate that!) and not as drying as other long wear formulas I have tried.
Second - the range of colours. I have three, Rambling Rose, a nice medium gold shimmered rose pink. Tender Berry, a very ladylike slightly cool berry mauve and Charismatic Coral, a vibrant red coral with slight shimmer. The rest of the colours I find a bit odd - there don't seem to be the usual plethora of pinks and neutrals, there are a few beiges and browns but I find most of them too dark or too flat, there is nothing that I would call a true neutral nude . The rest are a mix of reds, wines and peachy tones with a range of finishes. Charming Lilac looks pretty but I just find it too dark to be wearable in the daytime - it just looks purple (with lots of gold glimmer).
Third, the packaging. I dislike it - clear plastic tubes that have to be aligned properly to click shut and the nub of the lipstick doesn't retract fully into the tube so you risk smushing it if you're not careful. The bullet itself seems to take extra winding to get up enough to apply comfortably and the casing does not seem to be seated securely inside the tube - all of mine wobble a tiny bit, though I have checked the actual lipstick itself and it is firmly attached, it's the actual winding mechanism that seems to be the issue.
So, yes I'd buy more if the range was more extensive with more wearable daytime shades and though I don't love the packaging I can live with it.

PROS: Last quite awhile, creamy, pigmented, doesn't dry out, case clicks shut.
CONS: Transfers, not very moisturizing, shimmery, price, doesn't last through a meal.
I use this in Ravishing Red. It's not my favorite red, it's too bright, but Refined Ruby was too dark. It is pretty but I wish they had more shades to choose from. Maybe some WITHOUT SPARKLES. Though it really does last a good amount of time. Of course, it doesn't last 10 hours but, for a drugstore lipstick, it's pretty good.

I wish they would make more lipsticks like this. You definitely don't have to re-apply like crazy with this stuff. While its not "kiss proof," it lasts a long time. The biggest downside to the line are the colours. Some of them are way too frosted. My two favourites that I picked up are Perpetual Peach, and Always Apricot.

I don't have time to reapply lipstick very often through the day, so I gravitate towards the long-wearing versions. This one is better than most, as it remains fairly creamy and doesn't seem to dry out my lips and crack as the day goes on. There are some really great colors to choose from, and I want more! I'm NW15 and though I have 8 or 9 of these, I seem to reach for Forever Frappe the most. This weekend I bought Summer Rose as I was looking for something a little brighter than the nudes I nearly always wear. It looks great, especially with a little bit of Infallible gloss in pink on top.

The Gwen Stefani ad was very unrealistic, compared to the actual product, but I was satisfied nonetheless. I own Ravishing Red and Orpulent Organza and both apply on very smoothly! One thing I noticed about Ravishing Red was that it had hints of golden sparkles that beautified it even more. Very satisfied indeed and great staying power, if not like the ad. Yes, it does slightly come off, but reapplying is not a huge problem and it'll last very long. Like all lipsticks, it can get on your teeth, and someday I hope that something will be invented to prevent that. I trust that L'Oreal will find a way ;)

I specifically bought this because of Gwen Stefani's L'Oreal commercial. I watched a behind-the-scenes making of the L'Oreal lipstick commercial on youtube and when it was stated that she was wearing #312 "Ravishing Red", I had to have it. By far, we're not the same skin tone, but it looked SOOO good on her, and I tend to do relatively well with reds anyway, I didn't even hestitate once I saw it at Duane Reade. A bit pricey, of course, but then it IS L'Oreal, after all!

This lipstick does transfer slightly, though it feels fairly creamy and soft. I find it to be a mix between moisture lipstick and the smudge proof dry formulas. It reminds me of a slightly dryer Rimmel lipstick.
You will likely need to reapply it after eating. It doesn't come off quite as much as a regular lipstick - though it doesn't stay as well as other dry formula long lastings.
I use a lipstick sealer Lipcote with this lipstick. It stops it from transferring and makes it last longer. Even with the Lipcote it still feels fairly moist and I have to be careful not to overdo lip gloss. With a small amount of gloss and Lipcote it will last for around 5 - 12 hours. On it's own it will last around 3 - 6 hours. It seems slightly sheer compared to other lipsticks, not to say it is actually sheer. It is just less opaque.

Last year I bought a few colors from this line, and I loved them; it was cold weather & they totally moisturized my chap-prone lips with long-lasting color. In summer 2011, I tried CL LipPerfection lipstick, and they did the trick---When the weather was hot. Now that it's cold again, CL is not fitting the bill. The true test for lipstick is if it wins in cold/dry/windy weather--Today I'm going back to the store for L'Oreal Infallible Le Rouge. It is the ONLY lipstick (dept. store or drugstore) that moisturizes AND adds serious color.
EDIT: L'Oreal Paris owns several other high-end cosmetic brands, including dept. store Lancôme -- The umbrella of brands use the same cosmetic scientists, which explains the great quality for L'Oreal.
Advice to L'Oreal: please keep the great formula, but expand on more colors (color groups), and improve upon the packaging--Less plastic, more product, easier swivel to prevent product from getting smushed. :)
EDIT: 11/28/11 - Unfortunately, my enthusiasm got away with me. After 3 days of using this lipstick repeatedly, my lips were chronically chapped, bleeding, flaking -- awful. After stopping use, I definitely attributed the bad chapping to the new l/s. I threw it away; and continued my search for the best moisturizing lipstick (which is Revlon Super Lustrous -- hands down, true moisturization, their claims are real.) continued >>

i bought this in the shade called ravishing red which is the one that gwen stefani wears in the ads and i have to say that this is a vast improvement from the original infallible lipcolour which flaked and peeled like crazy, this on the other hand is very smooth and creamy and has excellent staying power and the red shade is fantastic for blonde or fair skin ladies because it really brightens your face and looks gorgeous,i hope loreal does'nt stopped making this lipstick because they have a winner with this one.

I really like these lipsticks. they are long wearing, a little tacky on the lips but still comfortable. I have a video review of them as well:

I'm always looking for the perfect lipstick that'll last without having to reapply every 2 seconds. This lipstick almost meets the HG status. It goes on smooth and covers well. There is a little bit of a 'texture' feel to it on my lips, but not annoying. It's not drying and doesn't look cracked on my lips after some wear. Now, yes... it does come off. But it lasts a good little while. Even through eating and drinking. I reapply around hour 8 just because I (and everyone else) likes my lips. The color is very pigmented too. So, I do like it, I feel that it is better than most of the other 'long lasting' lipsticks. I'll have to try a few different colors to really decide if I like it enough to spend the almost 9 bucks a pop on it.

I have this in the shade Perpetual Peach. When swatched, it appears as a light peachy shade with shimmer. However, on my lips, it appears as a peachy shade with strong warm pink undertones with a slight frost to it. I love how it looks on my lips! Do not worry about the shimmer- it is not overpowering and really highlights your lips.
This lipstick does not dry out my lips, even if i dont put on lip balm first. After it sets, however, it does become slighty tacky. It doesnt annoy me, as it is advertised to be a long wearing lipstick. It wore for about four to five hours for me, which is amazing! (but it did fail to live up to company claims of 16 hours.) still, this is a great lipstick!! I cant wait to try out other colors.

These are amazing. They are very comfortable, long lasting, pigmented and dont dry out your lips at all. They don't taste like anything (boyfriend friendly) and have almost no smell either. They are just amazing, I've bought like 4 so far. I love that they are on the matte side, since I hate the look of lipgloss.Tender Berry its an amazing natural nudish color that comes out as a very natural medium/light pink on my NW35 (liquid) or NC43 (powder) Olive skin tone. LOVE. I also have Bold Bordeaux, also an amazing shade for Olive skin tones, but its too dark for my small lips :( Also have Everlasting plum but its also too dark for my small lips, but it makes a beautiful cheek stain. Bold bordeaux looks bright and gorgeous on the cheeks as well, and the formula is on the matte side so it looks very nice. Will repurchase a couple more.

I think this has got to be one of my favorite lipstick formulas. Its really up there with highend material. I got the shade trendy berry, which is now one of my favorites! It last all day without drying out your lips or bleeding out of your lip and i don't even use lip liner. I can't say enough about it. I love love love it and i recomend the shade Trendy Berry its a sutle nuteral purple lilacy color, LOVE.

The formula for this seems OK. I got it in #130, Enduring Berry which has the most garish golden frost to it that makes my lips look AWFUL. Even after using a two phase makeup remover some of the sparkle remains. The colour looks nice in the tube but OMG the frosty sparkle takes over. Make sure you can return this if you purchase it. I'm throwing it away after trying to wear it out of the house for over two weeks.

I bought these in Undending Kiss and Infinite Spice. So far, so good. They last about 4 hours on me which is longer than most lipsticks. For some reason, I expected them to be darker than the swatch (You can't see much of the actual lipstick color), but they are quite light. The Unending Kiss is actually too light for my medium coloring, the Infinite Spice is subtle but perfect. I just hope they do not become dry and unuseable after a few weeks like some long-wearing lipsticks I have bought. A little gloss on top to reduce the sticky feel does not seem to affect wear. At this point, I would purchase again, probably something brighter.

I wanted to like this, but did not. The color payoff is great-that's the only good thing I can say about this. Feels a bit dry, which is typical of long wear formulas, and color lasted, even after eating greasy onion rings, but it did feel a bit tacky on my lips and almost like it was floating, and not adhering to my lips. For longwear lipstick, I prefer Revlon colorstay soft & smooth and Avon perfect wear. LOVE Loreal colour riche, but sadly, le rouge infallible did not work for me. continued >>
