I have these in midnight blue and a brown. They're pigmented, don't tug and they're cheap! Feel good because essence doesn't test on animals.
Have this in White and Teddy (brown)
The white one is greattttt. It is waxy-creamy and pigmented! Opaque colour. Stays well on the waterline. Does fade a little but does not smudge.
I have also used it to highlight my brow bone (apply it straight from the pencil, smudge it out with pinky finger) and contour nose bridge and cupids' bow using same technique.
The Teddy is creamy, pigmented and a beautiful brown. It however DOES NOT stay on the waterline and is prone to smudging. The texture feels different from the White. It is creamy-creamy and works well as a base all over the eyelid to spice up boring matte brown eyeshadows. Even so, it does crease on extremely normal eyelids. I would suggest using a primer.
I have found an alternative for Essence's Teddy that DOES STAY on the waterline. Infact, it does not budge. You would neeed to use an oil based remover and sometimes use a q-tip to run it along the waterline to remove all traces of this eyeliner.
This is: Savvy by DB Luxury Liner in Brilliant Brown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is gel like, creamy, soft and a dream to work with. I can even use an angle brown to swipe some product off the tip of the pencil and glide it on my lashline like a gel-liner creating cat-eyed flicks!
I swatched both on my hands and the colours are identical...
Essence kohl eyeliners are $1.95 AUD at Priceline though sometimes they are on sale at Target for 90c
Savvy by DB is available at Priceline for $7.
Also, Essence's Teddy is a dupe of MAC's Teddy. MAC's Teddy does not stay on my waterline either.
I gave this a 4 because it's a hit and miss plus it depends on your eyelids! And the colours.
I have two shades of this eye pencil, 08 Teddy (medium-brown) and 04 White (white...duh). These are no good, I really wanted to like them (I think they cost 1.49$ Canadian, but don't quote me on that) but I couldn't sharpen them to a fine enough point to line my eyes, so I tried just putting it on my water line. It didn't irritate my eyes but neither of the shades lasted more than 20 minutes and Teddy just made my eyes look muddy because I couldn't build up any colour. There are some way better eye pencils out there, I don't reccomend this.
This was a very surprising product for me. It was SO cheap, I was expecting a crap product with not much pigment that applied streaky. Well this is very much the opposite. It applies smoothly and stays on all day (I use a primer before it). I bought it in white to use on my waterline and in/on the tear duct. On the tear duct it will last all day, but on the waterline it needs to be reapplied at least once throughout the day. It's very good for being such an inexpensive product, I was impressed.
i bought this in white to use on my waterline. bottom line is it's super inexpensive, works well, pigmented, creamy...doesn't last but for the price, you really can't beat it.

My favorite thing about this liner is its price. Honestly if it were more expensive I would probably not be loured into buying it, but can you really say no to trying something that's under a dollar?
Anyway, I own the color "All I want". I bought it because it was on clearance for around 50 cents. At first I didn't know what to do with it, because the color is a bit odd, but when I tried it on my eyes, not only on my hand as I did in the shop, it appeared a lot lighter than when I swatched it. Made me happy, because I was looking for a nice off white eye liner for my watter line, but sadly the staying power wasn't good enough for this purpose. I thought it was going to be waste of money, but the other day I decided to try to use it to fill in my brows and then somehow the color looked like my swatch again and that's when I fell in love with this product. It looks really, really natural on me, just need to be careful when applying, because if put directly on top of the brow hairs, it makes them look shiny. I've tried some other colors on my upper lash line and they worked really well, so now I'm really wishing to go back to the store and pick up some more colors :)

i have the color "feel the eclipse", which is dark blue - grey color : perfect for dark brown eyes. very soft. certainly no need to warm it up (compared to lancome!). it stays on my oily eyelids. great color and very usable! dont miss it.

I have this in white and I really like this for my water line. It's stays on my water liner for 6 hours and I have more expensive liners that don't last as long and aren't as creamy.I like this just as much as my 15 $ gosh liner
I purchased the brown shade of these for around $2 at Target, the intensity is good! perfect for smudging but also great for a clean line when the tip is sharpened well.
To me, these pencils own over BYS or NYX which you can normally purchase at Groove or Cosmetics Plus because while they are around the same price, the Kajal Eyeliners work the best - no need to run the pencil back and forth over the eyelid.
It would be great if they made this one in a nice blue or purple
