I tried a travel size tube of this. Did not like it as well as the roll on. It has a weird plastic smelling opening note that I was blaming on the plastic tube it comes in. If you can get past this,it does fade and the dry down is a nice vanilla coconut scent that stays close to the skin. It moisturizes decently. I would call this more of a lotion than a body butter though. I 'm glad I did not buy a big tube and wonder what kind of plastic the tubes these come in are made of. Weird for a natural based product...

I have the rollerball and it is divine!! I have the body butter (second hand) and it must be rancid becuase they smell nothing alike. Body butter smells like plasticy peanuts. I can only deduce the negative reviews are because once this goes bad it smells really bad. I would love to smell a fresh tube of this I bet it's great.

This product smells delicious. I use it as a basic moisturizer - more for its pleasant scent and texture than for its moisturizing properties. My skin is extremely dry and this product does not have the strength it takes to hydrate it.
It is, however, a great product for people who do not need a hard-core moisturizer. It is all-natural (another perk!), absorbs quickly and feels lovely going on your skin. If you need something with moisturizing properties, I would recommend TBS' body butters.

I got this along with a shower gel and body spray as my beauty insider gift from Sephora. When smelling the product out of the bottles, I couldn't resist trading in my 500 hard-earned point for this little set. I couldn't wait to try it out! The shower gel smelled DELICIOUS! It made my bathroom smell like a tropical island. I promtly followed my island escape with the lotion and a few spritzes of the body spray. HUGE mistake! A couple of minutes after applying the lotion and body spray, I kept smelling what I can only describe as rancid coconut crayons. Yeah, smells about as good as it sounds. Thinking maybe it was all in my head, I brought the lotion with me to work and asked my male coworker to tell me what he thought of the smell. I have never seen someone make a face quite like his. Disgust and fear all rolled into one. I was VERY disappointed (but also glad I tested it out on him before I wore it around my boyfriend). On a happy note, I'm still using the shower gel as it smells great. I also found that the Hawaiian Ruby Guava and Tuscan Blood Orange lotions smell FAR better than the Indian Coconut Nectar.

YUMMMY! I bought this body butter at Sephora and I have been using it every day since. The Indian Coconut Nectar smell is AMAZING. Sometimes coconut scented lotions can smell a little chemical-ly or a little off, but this scent is spot on. You can smell a little oatmeal as well. I can't describe it but if you are someone who loves the smell of coconut and the tropics definitely give this a try! Good moisturizer for the body to boot!

Got this with my sephora points. It does not smell good at all. It smells like rum and sickening sweet coconut. I like coconut smells, like Australian Gold suntan lotions but this is just gross. I am glad I did not pay for this.

This initially smells like burnt popcorn and sweet coconut and rum. After a few hours, it smells like vanilla.

I love this stuff! I think it smells lovely. It reminds me of a tropical island. I'm surprised to see a few people hate it so much.
The body butter isn't as thick as some butters, but much thicker than a body lotion. I prefer this to the super thick body butters out there.
The packaging is nice. The tube is decent quality (hasn't broken at the hinge) and the design of the label is very nice to look at.
A+ for me!

GACK! On me it smells like sour burnt plastic with a hint of rotten coconut. How is that for appetizing? I am sorely disappointed - I usually enjoy Pacifica products, and love coconut - but this one is awful. The butter itself is just ok - not as thick and rich as I like in a body butter -more like a lotion - but it did moisturize. Too bad I can't enjoy the moisturizing effects - because I need to go re-shower to get the funk off of me.

I love the scent of coconut and truly wanted to love this but unfortunately, on me this smells like , , , , I know this sounds strange, but I swear it smells like olive oil. It's also supposed to be a "body butter" and it is not thick, creamy, and moisturizing like a body butter at all. I will probably put this on my night stand to use as a hand cream but would not ever buy it again. Fortunately I got the 2.5 oz small size!

Boo! I love coconut & wanted this lotion to sweep me off my feet & take me to some far away fluffy coconut land. It didn't. It smells great initially, but then smells like pee after awhile & after washing my hands. Really dissapointed. continued >>

I love this body butter! It's a great scent for coconut lovers. The coconut scent is fresh and natural and not overly sweet on its own; it's the vanilla scent that adds the sweetness. The subtle notes of vetiver add a slightly exotic and organic undertone to the scent. The product itself is a medium-to-thick lotion that moisturizes well and absorbs into the skin nicely. I love applying it to my hands and feet. I'm not sure it's quite thick enough to warrant the term "body butter" since it's more of a thick lotion, but that's really not a big deal.

Got a 3 oz. tube of this body moisturizer at Sephora for only $5 and I like it. Nice, natural, simple and inexpensive and it smells pretty good. Does a good job of making my hands and body feel smooth.
