Sadly, this has been reformulated and now contains cyclotetrasiloxane and cyclopentasiloxane. If you are sensitive to silicones, check the ingredients packaging before buying to check whether you have an old or new batch. Within a week, I was broken out from the new formulation (which is when I checked the box and saw the new ingredients).
I rate the old version 4/5; the new version 2/5.
I have been using this since 2005. It's the only thing I have found that doesn't irritate or cause any problems for my sensitive combination skin. Because my skin is highly reactive, I just needed a simple product that would provide moisture without irritants (for me) like alcohol and mineral oil. This did that, and never had problems interacting with other products or cosmetics. I also used this around my eye area with no problems. It was also easy to find, and affordably priced.
Very disheartened to find a replacement as it looks like slim pickings. :/ If I do find something similar, will update.

This is a great lightweight moisturizer for my combination skin. I usually use it in the morning before my makeup and it's light enough that I can dab a little into my skin if my makeup looks too cakey. It's really great for the price. I used the Clinique 3-step system prior to using this and it does about the same job for cheaper.

If you look at my other reviews, you'll see I'm not a fan of neutrogena by a long shot. This product is actually the exception. It has an elmers-glue-like consistency that deeply penetrates the skin without the oily residue. My only qualm is that it contains silicones, which have already proven to slightly irritate my skin. That aside, it'll be my go-to from now on.

I have been using this moisturizer for 2 years now and I absolutely love it! This product does not break me out and leaves my skin moisturized without that greasy feeling. Definitely a staple for me.

This stuff is crap. I have not had any break outs recently until I decided to try this out and broke out on my cheek bones. The moisturizer is very light weight so I will give it that, but when I apply this under sunscreen and my foundation it balls up which is really annoying. Plus it's made my face very dry and flaky and my face is some what on the oily side. I will be returning this.
I've had cystic acne that has been under control for about a year now with a very simple but strict regimen. My face is for the most part clear now. I have sensitive, dry to combination skin, but I have problems with getting really oily throughout the day, causing my makeup to break down. It's a weird situation. I decided to give this moisturizer a go under makeup to see if it helped. I'm wary of changing up my regimen, so I made sure that this was the only new product I introduced so I could see how it affected my skin. First of all, I did not find it moisturizing enough. My face felt sticky during application and then almost powdery after application. It was okay under makeup and did help somewhat with oil production throughout the day, but my face just didn't feel comfortable with it on and still got relatively oily a couple of hours after application. Then about a week after I started using it I started breaking out ALL OVER my face. It's like every pore on my face is clogged, even on my nose where I never break out. I'm confused because it claims to be non-comedogenic, but my experience has been that it stops my skin up big time. I'd rather keep using an oil blotting sheet every hour than have clogged pores and little spots everywhere to cover. I just can't think of any pluses or benefits of this product for me personally.
My skin type is combination/normal and am EXTREMELY acne prone. The center of my forehead, cheeks and chin can become oily (though, not so much), the outer parts of my forehead and upper lip are dry. My nose and jaw area are normal. Complicated much?!!
Within the first few weeks of use, I felt like the initial weight of the moisturizer was too heavy. (Maybe it's because I HATE the feel of moisturizers/lotions…) I hated the way it feels when it's settling into my skin. But, admittedly, once the moisturizer is set it moisturizes so well and makes my skin feel so baby soft. I also love that it doesn't make me break out and doesn't clog my pores! Also, after months of use, I've gotten used to that "heavy" lotion feel. (Others who've used the Neutrogena find that the moisturizer is "extremely light-weight." Lol. I think I might've been spoiled by Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel's light-weight, barely there feel. Because DDMG feels like water!)
I've used this moisturizer for a couple of months and I really like it so far! Ultimately, I think this may have replaced Clinique DDMG as my HG.
On the flip side, FWIW, my fiance uses this moisturizer as well, but he doesn't like it. He has normal skin and feels like it clogs his pores. He prefers the sensitive version over the combination (that I bought)!
Pros:
- moisturizes dry patches and mattifies oily spots!
- cheap (under $10 and many coupons available)
Cons:
- feels like lotion! (but that's just a con for me...)

I bought this product to moisturize my dry acne prone skin. However, this product burns my cheeks really badly. I do not understand why because it is alcohol free. Now I have to find another moisturizer for my cheeks. This works alright on my forehead and neck so I'll use it in those two areas so my money won't be wasted.
i can not stand the texture of this face cream, i put it on my face once and never again, my sister refuses to use either, do not recommend
All of the dermatologists/doctors I've been to have recommended this product to me, and I'm glad they did! While it isn't perfect, it does not clog my pores or irritate whatsoever and doesn't leave my skin feeling too heavy. I'm not a fan of the smell however, and it does very little to control oil.
