This product contains lots of heavy oils and also a heavy dose of capsaicin, which is red pepper extract. The oils clogged the pores on my oily/combo skin, and the capsasin irritated it. I used about half the bottle, but after a spate of breakouts and issues with red skin, including lots of little red dots all up and down my cheeks, I ditched it. My skin has gotten better ever since. Given the heavy oils, this moisturizer isn't fit for combo or oily skin. It would be great for normal or slightly dry to very dry skin if it wasn't for the red pepper extract, which is a potential irritant for just about everyone. Please save your skin and avoid.

I bought the acne kit, and this was the moisturizer that came in the three-step system. The price was great, 19.99USD for the set. I love the packaging and how it comes in a pump. Really hygenic and super easy to apply. I LOVE the scent! Can't get enough of it! It goes on super smooth and I noticed my skin is way softer than it used to be. However, after a while I do notice my skin gets oily again. I would definitely repurchase though!

I wanted to love this, I have been looking for a good moisturizer for a few months and, in the end, I decided for this. I actually like it, but I couldn't say I'm in love with it.
The scent is really pleasant for me, and I usually care a lot about this so believe me when I say it's nice and not terribly strong.
When I put it in the evening I can see that the morning after my skin is definitely less oily than it used to be: it's no miracle but can a moisturizer completely make the shine on the T zone disappear?
So, as far as the shine problem, it works.
The reason why I didn't fall in love is that I don't really feel my skin being hydratated. I know it is, I just used a moisturizer after all, but I don't feel it being noticeably softer or smoother.
I love the fact that it's 98% made with natural ingredients, and the packaging is really cute, but I couldn't say this changed my life.
I feel like it's good for the spring or fall, and if your skin is combo like mine it's a good product.

I have very oily acne prone skin (even at 41) and can never find a moisturizer for my cheeks and winter time, that won't break me out or cause more problems for my poor skin. Until this one. I can say it's my HG! I've tried several, DS and HE, and seem to continue to come back to this one. It's a little pricey for DS without sunscreen, ($15USD) but still worth it to me. My skin stays clear and balanced and not a cyst or zit in sight, and no added oiliness either. No, it won't make your skin matte, but it does exactly what it says without a lot of chemicals. I absolutely love it!!!!

I love this moisturizer. I've been having big problems with roughness, redness and flakiness, and this remedies all of those problems. I use it at night, because I tried it once during the day and it got too greasy by evening. As for the scent, I was definitely thrown off the first time I used this, since I thought it would have a cucumber-ish veggie scent, but I really enjoy the rich, sweet smell. I also love the velvety matte finish after I smooth it on. Will repurchase!

Okay let me just start by saying that this packaging is SO CUTE!!!! I just had to get that off my chest. The lotion is good it does help control oil and it has the same clean but spicy scent all Yes To Tomatoes products have. It is not greasy compared to the oilyness of Cocoa Butter and it absorbs really fast! The only reason that I have given this lotion a 4 is because it lacks SPF and so I can only use it at night:( but this is an amazing lotion just needs that SPF and it would be perfect!

I've been using this product twice a day for two months. It feels like a balm. When i first used it i thought it felt a bit heavy for oily/combination skin and it was. Although these two months the yes to tomatoes facial cleanser and moisturiser helped me not to break out, there was apparent oiliness on my face after a couple of hours of applying the product. It is more suitable for winter months i would say. Would not purchase again

I don't know why this didn't get a higher rating because it worked really well on me. It had me moisturised and kept the oil at bay. It did tingle a bit but i had no side effects,

This is the type of non-greasy moisturizer that I always go for, so I love the light feel and quick absorbency of it. It has worked well for me so far even in colder weather because it still feels pretty rich to me. The only thing I don't like about it: the smell is just a touch too sweet, and reminds me of rich, slightly musty cocoa butter. Some days I just don't like it. I much preferred the smell of the previous version of this moisturizer before the package change. I don't think I will repurchase it.

It smells a bit too sweet to me, not like a smell I'd want to put on my oily, break-out prone skin, but this product works very nicely! It absorbs beautifully.

I really wanted to love this moisturizer; however it didn't work well with my skin. I have very oily, sensitive, acne prone skin so its pretty hard to find a good moisturizer that isn't too heavy, won't irritate my skin, or cause break outs. I use to use some LUSH brand moisturizers but I was looking for a cheaper, better alternative. I came across the Yes To Tomatoes moisturizer while I was at Target. What caught my eye was that it's supposedly natural and is cruelty free, which are huge pluses in my book. Initially, the smell is what bothered me on the first two nights of using this product. I did like the consistency of the product and how it went on smooth and made my skin feel very velvety soft after applying it. I also liked the overall container itself. It comes with a pump so it makes measuring the right amount of product a breeze. When I did apply it, my skin would start to get somewhat itchy. At first I thought it was because the product was new, but as the weeks went by my skin would continue to be itchy and even progressively gotten worse. I eventually stopped using this product after a month of use; however since I still have a lot left I'll probably reuse it so I don't completely throw my money away.

This is another product I've been using for at least a year now. It's a great everyday moisturizer. I used to have oily and blemished skin, it has now turned combo and blemish prone. This works best to moisturize oily-combo skin, doesn't clog my pores and makes my skin feel soft and velvety. I think it does have some natural ingredients in it that could cause irritation for some people--this has made my skin a little flush on my more sensitive and allergy prone days. It's on the expensive side for a drugstore product but worth it for a product that moisturizes with a matte finish without too many bad ingredients. I'll probably keep buying it until my skin changes and needs a different product, I do tend to use a more moisturizing product when my skin gets dry and flaky in the winter.

Tried this moisturizer after hearing people rave about the brand. For a while it worked as an average moisturizer; it wasn't great by any stretch nor was it terrible. Then after about a month I started to break out like crazy! I didn't realize it was this product at first until one night I accidentally forgot to put on moisturizer before going to bed. The next day my skin was noticeably better/ less irritated. I stopped using this immediately and break outs eventually went away. Will obviously never repurchase.

My face gets a bit dry and I occasionally have mild breakouts and I LOVE this product. My skin is very sensitive so I was worried about it this after a read quite a few reviews of people saying they broke out even more after using this product, but I had no problem whatsoever. Within a couple of days using it in the morning and before bed I noticed that my skin felt smoother and most of my pimples had cleared up. My skin tone also looked a little more even. I absolutely love the smell...I thought it would smell earthy, hence the name, but to me it smells kind of like a cinnabon ^_^ I wish that it was a little less greasy but it still works great. The price is above the average drugstore moisturizers (I believe I got it for 15 dollars) but it isn't ridiculous and I bet it works just as well as some designer moisturizers out there. It's a small bottle but you only need to use a little bit each time. I can't wait to try more products from this line. I love the idea of a moisturizer that also clears your skin :)

The packaging was really ugly and it smelled weird but I was willing to overlook that if it didn't break me out BUT IT DID and it was not cheap (shake my fist) so it is a waste of money go for olay complete sensitive skin you're face will thank you.

I have to say, I was hesitant to try this line of products simply due to the simplistic packaging. I tend to go for more dressed up bottles. However, after spending 20 minutes in the face care section at Target and reading the labels on dozens of products, I decided that Yes to Tomatoes would be going home with me.
And I am so happy! I used this after washing with the Clarifying Cleanser and donning the Skin Clearing Mask for five minutes and I can actually see a difference in my skin already, which I totally wasn't expecting. I have very oily skin that gets congested so easily that I cannot break with my routine or it will show. I love that there are numerous products in this line that I can create an elaborate routine with. I will be buying the scrub and facial pads next week.
Some others mentioned the smell...personally, I love it! But then again, I like smelling like food. Haha...

I got this moisturizer hoping it would be just as amazing as all of the other Yes to Tomatoes and Yes to Cucumbers line that I've been using, but for some reason, this is the ONE product that irritates my skin! It says it controls acne, but within a matter of a few hours, it only just breaks my skin out. It has a bit of an oily feel to it, the smell isn't too bad, I just wish I could find a moisturizer that wasn't harmful to my sensitive skin!

So while I worked at Ulta I'd always drool over all the face products. Well one day I came across this product and thought "hey why not try this" I liked the packaging and the fact that they dont test on animals. Long story short: This stuff did not work on my combination acne-prone skin. In fact it made me break out. Unfortunately I also brought the little treatment stick roll-on thing and that also didn't work but inflamed the breakout even more. Its really a shame because I liked the softness it gave my face and the smell.
