The colors are really nice and popping, beautiful purples! When that is said I wished for a little more pigmentation i the lighter shades, they come out a little bit to sheer for my taste. Also it requires a steady hand when applied, because like all the other YSL palettes they can end up looking a little muddy if you don't blend carefully. If the formula was a bit softer or creamier I don't think that that would have been a problem, but like I said, if you apply carefully you end up with a gorgeous lilac look that stays solid the entire day!
Yeah i would buy this again but I don't really see that happening. On the sporadic occasion when I want to do a purple eye this is what I use. I got this and some other ysl products as a christmas gift from my brother last year and its great but i haven't nearly put a dent in it. He told the holt's sa that i was blonde and pretty pale and she seemed to help him pick out some pretty bright colours, it would have been nice to have some neutrals from ysl fancying up my makeup drawer but then again if they were so wearable i would have used them up by now. This is definitely not an everyday quad i understand that purple is what makes green eyes like mine pop and i do always uses slightly purplish browns and burgundies on a regular basis but this bright very pigmented purple. Also in person they read much more pink than blue as in the photos of this quad which i find more flaterring anyways but just so you know if your looking for indigo this isn't it . So i love how theres five colours and i actually use them all, I also love the packaging as always with ysl and the shadow itself is creamy and pigmented. The two lightest shades a pretty silver sparkled and the medium pinkest shad is gold sparkly the other two darkest shades are pretty much matte maybe a little sheen to them
