Hmmm mixed feelings about Dr Spot but I've said 'yes' to buying this again. The good things - it really does the job. I, like most people get the occasional killer spot and a blob of this clear 'gel' on the spot before you go to bed really does calm it down immensely, and do this for 2 nights as soon as you get home from work and the spot will have almost disappeared. I haven't found a product for an occasional spot that is this good. HOWEVER.... (and this is where it only get the 3 stars) there is no way you could ever apply this under make up! You can only apply this if you're not leaving the house. Remember that kiddies non-toxic water based gloopy glue that you used in nursery and juniors? And you could put it on your fingers and have fun peeling it off? Well the consistency on your skin is exactly like that. Try and put any form of concealer or foundation on top and it will peel the whole lot right off, and that aint sexy! You'll be forever checking your face in the mirror in case you look like the Singing Detective! So 3 stars as it's good at its job, but not one for wearing during the day. Such a shame.

This really does help reduce the appearance of spots. Doesn't reduce the size of them overnight but makes them look less red and horrible!! With gradual use this has helped my skin become clearer.

I bought this as part of my Soap and Glory haul right before they stopped selling it at Target, it resurfaced in the last month and I've been using it to fight the acne and spots around my jawline. While it's worked, it's no HG product -- I could get the same results using a scrub but hey, why waste it? I do like the packaging a lot. It has a chemical smell but it's a chemical product so that's not surprising or necessarily unpleasant.

I had the worst experience with this product! For the first week I really liked it, it seemed to be clearing up the couple of spots on my nose and I was pretty pleased. However, after the one week mark it just seemed to stop working. Any progress it had been making on my spots just seemed to come to a stand still.

I continued to use it for another week with no difference. During that week using it I noticed that my nose was starting to become flaky. Come the third week using it and it had completely dried out my nose and reduced my skin to flakes! I immediately stopped using it, and about a week after my spots started to return to how they were before using the product.

So pretty much; does not clear up spots long term, irritated my skin and had a horrible chemically smell. The only good thing I would say about this is that the pump action was a better idea than some of the wand sticks I've used before.

Would definitely not go near this again x

This stuff is a life saver, seriously! every month i get a huge breakout of hormonal acne around my chin and jawline and until i found Dr.Spot absolutely nothing would shift it. I apply one pump to my whole chin and jawline at night (1 pump goes a long way!) and by morning they've shrunk alot, and become less red and angry. It leaves a kind of a 'film' on the skin afterwards, so when I use it during the day I have to keep an eye that I'm not walking around with a flaky chin! I usually don't wear make up to work so I've never tried it under make up, but I imagine a small amount would work fine under concealer. All in all for €10.49 (in Ireland) this product lasts me a really long time, and is my skin saviour, highly recommend!

I've used this treatment a number of times and I still don't like it! It doesn't do anything that seems to be helping my spots. This is a disappointment as I love most Soap and Glory products. I was expecting alot from this product as I have high expectations from this brand. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this to anyone and will not be repurchasing. On the plus side it has a nice smell and the pump action is a very good way to package it.

the pump bottle itself is a good idea as its just easier but be careful as a full pump will give you way more than needed for just one spot.
this is generally good and its gentle and not drying but it can make my skin greasy and the gel itself leaves a residue on my skin.
on the plus side though it does get rid of spots quite quickly after a couple of applications though there are better and much cheaper spot creams (this cost me £9)

I love this skin treatment! I usually don't buy spot treatment gels or creams cause they never work, but I bought this on a whim since I like other Soap and Glory products, and I'm glad I did. I got in the afternoon and put it on that evening before bed and a zit I had and by morning it had seriously decreased in size and color, put it on again that day and the zit was gone by the end of the day. I don't recommend putting it under concealer, if you use concealer to cover blemishes as its a gel and come off with the concealer, even if you wait for it to dry it still flakes off. Have kept using it ever since, every time I get a zit, I put it on and its nearly gone by the end of the day. I'm upset that Soap and Glory won't be distributed anymore by Target and they are selling their last available stock. Will have to find another way of getting it once Target runs out and I get the newsletter from Soap and Glory telling me they got a new seller here in the US.
