WOW!!! i cannot believe i am in love with a $1 foundation!!! what? its unbelievable to me that i may have found an HG product at the Dollar Tree. It all happened by accident but i am so happy to do a review on this little gem that noone has really talked about-
=PRICE/AVAILABILITY=
The new packaging (and newer updated formula) of Donna Michelle Foundation can be found at the Dollar Tree. i have not seen this brand anywhere else except at the Dollar Tree. And unbelievably, the price, yes $1- for one dollar!
=SHADE/FORMULA/PERFORMANCE=
I have to say that this is better than the older formula, in my opinion. I know everyones preferences are different but for me, i love this new foundation. But its not really a true foundation. Its more of a tinted moisturizer. There is only a few shades to pick from but it will depend on your location & what they carry. I have only seen Light 1, Med 1, and dark 1. So im not sure just how many shades they have. I cannot tell you about what the other shades look like but I will review Shade Light 1- this shade is pale cool pink toned foundation. Its light enough for my NW10 skin (i may be even paler) What i love about this is that its more of a tinted moisturizer. It has more of a lotion consistency, a bit gel like. Its great for girls like me with norm to dry skin bc it glides on so smoothly. It blends nicely, like a lotion. The coverage is light. Sheer but it does cover slight imperfections & some redness. It mainly evens out my skin which is what ive been looking for. On days i am running around shopping or not much, i wanted something light & easy to use that matched my pale skin. This is a miracle- even better that its $1!!! I do notice a slight scent to it- its like the other reviewer said, its like water in a water bottle, a tad plastic like. Its nothing major or unbearable & once its on, i dont notice it. I think this will be great for those with norm to dry skin. Light 1 is a pale cool toned tinted moisturizer that gives light sheer coverage. Good for those that dont want heavy coverage. I love concealer so i dont mind if i need to work w/ concealer for imperfections & my awful dark under eye circles. So this is probably my favorite esp for winter, summer, spring, ha! all seasons. I gotta go run & buy a whole bunch so i dont ever run out bc i never know when the Dollar Tree will quit carrying certain items.
=PACKAGING=
The packaging like the formula has been updated. This use to come in a glass jar with a pump but now comes in a plastic tube like most Tinted moisturizers. Its plastic tubing that is teal blue color with a silver twist on top. The tube is easy to use, sanitary & allows you to squeeze out the right amount of product easily. There is labeling/info written on tube. I like the old packaging since it was a sturdy glass jar with a pump top which if a $1 foundation can do- why cant the d/s companies do it for far more? but i like this tube too! its sleek & travel friendly. I like it- def reminds me of the Maybelline Pure Makeup. You get 1.2 oz or 34 grams which is alot of foundation esp for $1- the shade name is located on the front in writing. The ingredients & more info is located on the original packaging on the back. I love this tube!
Overall, my favorite tinted moisturizer ive ever used. Def not a med or full coverage foundation so if thats what you want, this isnt it. Its great for evening out the skin & it doesnt cling to my dry spots. I was nervous id break out in a rash but nothing so far & ive used it at least 8 times now. So i will def repurchase over & over. i gotta get me some backups just incase. I think it will last a little while since you only need a few dabs for your whole face. I love it! love it! cannot believe it works for me! continued >>

just had a quick question for anyone who has used this product...it's supposedly a replacement product for Maybelline's Pure Make up and was wondering if it was the same formula (being water-based and oil-free).
I lived by Pure Make up and it worked so well for me so I was devastated, and I mean devastated, when they decided to discontinue the product, but was pretty happy to see the similar packaging (light blue squeeze bottle and grey cover cap) at the dollar store when I walked in randomly...i'm just a little hesitant to use it b/c i'm not sure if it's the same..so if anyone can help w/ my question, it'd be greatly appreciated
-xoxo

This foundation is very easy to use, it acts more like a tinted moisturizer. Its very light and sheer. It offers minimal coverage and works best with a setting powder. The packaging is a plastic squeeze tube which is sanitary and convenient. The only thing I noticed is that it has a kind of plastic smell to it because its in a plastic tube, kind of like when you buy bottled water that tastes like plastic because its in a plastic bottle.
This foundation can be found at dollar tree. It used to be packaged in a glass bottle with a translucent pink cap however I believe this tube packaging is their new deal.
