As firming gels go, this is pretty good. The problem is that it seems to suck the moisture out of the skin in order to tighten it up so I have to use an emollient eye cream on top of it.
I can find dozens upon dozens of eye creams that tighten and moisturize so this is a dud for me.

I love John Masters' hair products, but I am tepid on the skincare so far. This eye cream has the benefit of feeling very soothing on the skin, very cooling. I imagine in the summer if you kept it in the fridge you'd be in heaven in the mornings!
But I am discovering that I don't like gel eye products as much as creams. For one, the area feels sticky after application, even an hour later. It also has a sheen to it that makes me look a little ill if I don't apply makeup over it. (And I don't generally wear makeup so this is a downside.)
As for firming, I give this an 'above average'.
The product may seem pricey but a little goes a very, very long way. I honestly anticipate this lasting me around six months, as its level hasn't budged in a month.

I purchased this mainly because my eye area has been suffering from puffiness and dryness for the longest time. The box of the Firming Eye Gel says "Plant extracts help reduce inflammation and puffiness while helping to prevent damage from free radicals. Perfect for all skin types."
I have to say that this did nothing to help with the puffiness, in fact it may have even made it a little worse. It does slightly reduce dark circles though and does firm up the eye area quite a bit. It comes in a hygenic pump glass bottle and doesn't have any scent to it. I felt overall it really didn't do very much for me and wasn't even very moisturizing. I've given a high rating because it didn't harm or irritate my eye area (which a lot of eye treatments tend to do) and because if you are looking for a firming eye cream this is a great one.
