Overall, not a bad product, but not an amazing product. The major pro is that it's very versatile. It works very well as a cleanser and does a good job of cleaning off makeup (although, I really use it more in the morning to use it as a cleanser/mask). It can also be used as a spot treatment or to help dry up a pimple that was squeezed or broke open by itself during cleansing. The peppermint is quite potent and this is one of the few masks that I can't leave on and forget I'm wearing it----you'll definitely know it's still on.
Will this clear your acne? Unfortunately, it didn't do much for me, but I've also found that no topical product will rid you of acne if you're still using other things on your skin that is irritating and causing your breakouts. For example, I've finally realized I can't use MMU with boron nitride and as soon as I stopped using products that contain it, my skin is so much better. I like having topical acne products and skin care lines on hand because I'm still acne prone and when I get a hormonal pimple, these products make the pimples go away faster and heal better. However, they won't stop the acne from forming---you have to do detective work to figure out what's irritating your skin.

They broke my heart when they discontinued this. That's all.

I have highly reactive, extremely sensitive skin that has been breaking out on chin and cheeks due to prolonged high stress (I'm losing hair too...boo). I've used 100%'s products and enjoyed them (I can't live without their fruit pigmented mascara), but this cleanser/mask has been disappointing. First of all, I have to store this sucker on its side...if you set it cap down as intended, when you open it, it will squirt all over the shower. Feels nice on application, leaves a slight slippery feeling on rinsing, probably due to the kelp. This is def full of essential oils, the peppermint is especially potent. On occasion, the scent "fumes" have burned my eyes, so beware!
I have noticed a decrease in blackheads over the last month that I've used this cleanser/mask. But it hasn't reduced the persistent whiteheads on my chin, nor soothed the redness around my chin and mouth. I follow cleansing with organic Ayurvedic facial moisturizing oil. I don't know if the cleanser/mask is drying or if it's just the winter weather leaving my combo skin peeling and rough. So I'm only using this 3 times a week, and using RareMinerals cleansing grains the remainder of the time. I missed the 30 day window to return this, so I'll use it up, but I definitely won't repurchase and don't think I'll try any more of the Purity line of facial products

Love this mask!! I use it every day for about 10 minutes after cleansing with the purity facial cleanser. It makes my skin tingle from the peppermint and eucalyptus, and also has little pieces of herbs/seaweed which i think is very cool. lol i think they should package it in an upright bottle cuz it is very runny, almost like water though.........i bought the entire purity acne kit when they had it on special 2 weeks ago. Love all the products, and the toner smells divine and the blemish serum feels so silky. i def recommend.

Overall, I like this mask. It has tea tree oil, eucalyptus oil and peppermint oil. So it will clear your sinuses when used. lol I try to use this one a week. I haven't noticed a huge benefit from this when used as a mask. I try to use it once a week and leave it on for 15 minutes.
But last month I got a huge red zit in between my eyes like normal. Most acne products don't do anything on me. I don't know why. They just don't. I tried this out as a spot treatment on a whim not expecting anything to happen. In the morning.....the zit was almost gone and the redness was completely gone. I am amazed. Like I said, I have never had any other products - even other mask - work like this. Benzoyl peroxide works a little but only after several days of several application.
I don't know if I will repurchase. $25 for a spot treatment is really expensive. But it seems to be the only thing to work for me, so I might repurchase. It will also depends on any benefits from using as a mask.
