I'm a little surprised by the good reviews on here! Only because I am a lotion junkie, and am pretty obsessed with my hands not being dry. At first I thought this hand cream was doing a fair job, but the true test - overnight - showed that it really wasn't very good. I would slather it on at night, taking the time to really let it soak in, but my morning, my hands very dry and cracked still. My other heavy duty hand creams definitely don't leave them feeling that way for sure.

I love this hand cream! Very moisturizing. At first, I thought it was a bit greasy, but then I realized I was just using too much (a habit developed from using hand cremes that weren't moisturizing enough). A pea sized amount is plenty to make chapped hands feel completely soft and soothed. I got it on sale so the value was amazing! I have a it in a few scents, I really like the cucumber melon.

I love this stuff! It is a must have for me, especially in the winter and the tube is a good size to carry in my purse. I like it so much I even got my mom hooked on it.

Love the lotion- but I can't finc it at the stores anymore- please tell me they didn't discontinue it! I'm going to have to head to the outlets and pick up some more, but not in the fresh vanilla scent, it smells terrible!

Love it, very moisturizing and available in all of the regulary carried scents. I use a pea size dab in the morning, again after lunch and am a little more generous with it right before bed, keeps my hands soft and supple and smells nice. I still need a cuticle oil pen to keep my cuticles healthy and lovely - I don't think this lotion alone is enough for your cuticles but it will certainly keep your hands moisturized. Love to have a tube of this in my purse at all times, and makes a great teacher's gift.

I really like this. Very moisturizing, only need a pea-sized dab of this, so the 4 oz tube will last awhile. Nice creamy consistency, not too greasy if you work it in a bit. Keeps my hands supple in the winter (I wash my hands a lot). I like to rub a bit on my nails and it keeps them looking healthy too. Only qualm is the $12 price tag, but this stuff is really good. I got this in mango mandarin, decent mango scent w/ a hint of orange, not too heavy or perfume-y.

What can I say but fabulous! I just bought this today at the Big Annual Sale for $5 (reg. $12) in Black Raspberry Vanilla scent. I put on a tiny dab and this was enough to moisturize well without a greasy or heavy feeling. A tube is going to last a long time. The scent is great. Someone even asked "what smells like strawberries or raspberries in here?" They liked it so I showed them the tube.

got it as a gift from my sister - a very moisturizing hand lotion, and it smells really really good. i have coconut lime verbena, and you can really smell the coconut with a hint of lime.
its $12, but its really helped with my dry hands in the winter, and i even use it on my feet (it is that moisturizing!).
don't use it in too close proximity to others unless you know they like coconut lime - very strong scent.

My old tube is almost gone, so I bought a new tube, and darned if they haven't changed the formula. Bring back the old stuff!!!
The old colored tubes contained a very thick formulation and only a tiny dab was necessary for hours of hydration and visibly smooth skin. I inherited the maternal old lady hands and I really need something serious. I use it almost every day, and it has lasted over a year. It even still smells as good as the day I got it.
The new tubes, white with the addition of "Hand Repair +" in the name, is thinner, and somehow less comforting (the old one actually said "Comfort" on the label). I'd say it is something like half strength, and the visible difference is gone. The only redeeming quality is that it stays on better after hand washing, but since it does so much less, this isn't a big help.
I'm very disappointed with this change. They ruined the best hand cream in the world. The old stuff kicks L'Emming L'Occitane's bootay, and my used-once tube of L'O is proof.

I like this cream - alot of nice fragrances. My hands get very dry, and this relieves them very well. A bit on the greasy side, however.

This is great! I love it in Cotton scent. It is much more moisturizing than the Look Ma New Hands lotion in my opinion. It is not too thick but it gets the job done. Will go back when my tube runs out. Oh and another thing- it is the same price as the New Hands lotion but like almost 2 times are more.

I have this in Sweet Pea and absolutely love it. The shea butter really helps to moisturize skin without creating a greasy finish. It absorbs quickly and makes my hands noticeabley softer.

I needed some serious hand repair from dry winter skin irritated by over-washing throughout the day at work. This product did wonderful for my irritated hands. I used mango-mandarin and the smell was lovely. The only downfall is that it left a major greasy film on my hands. Maybe I used too much but I wasn't able to grab or touch anything for quit a while. Which gave me a reason to just sit and relax so it all worked out! Would be great in cotton gloves as an overnight treatment.

I just bought this in the coconut lime verbena scent and love it! I can't stop using it! The creme is very thick so it moisturizes very well but is not greasy at all. I love the scent and am so glad that it lingers and stays with you. All in all, this creme has worked wonders for my dry hands. I only wish it had an spf. I know the BBW Hand Protection lotion has an spf but I found that one to not help my dry hands very much.

I have this in warm vanilla sugar and i like it a lot. I use it at work when my hands are feeling very dry. it is a bit greasy at first but it does sink in, and the scent is pretty strong, so make sure you like the smell, cuz it has staying power! this is a nice thick hand cream that i would highly recommend, not quite as great as the aromatherapy hand lotion that comes in the silvertube, but close!

Forget hand cream, this is great for all over! it really is a thick creamy lotion that makes my skin soft, and leaves it smelling like rasberries! Got it for 4.00 on sale!

Thanks for the reviews. This is the best handcream I have ever used and I tried almost everything. Didn't get to try L'Occitane with Shea Butter yet, but I think I will stick with this product. My hands and cuticles are soft and smooth. The Warm Vanilla Sugar is a nice scent. I was going shopping for their Anti-Aging Hand lotion, but upon inspection, noticed it was a smaller quantity at a higher price- probably because it contained sunscreen. I will mix this hand lotion with my own sunscreen and enjoy more of the product. Highly recommend.

I've finally found a hand cream that works and is affordable. I also have the bliss labs hand cream, but it's kind of expensive for the amount in the tube. This hand cream lasts a long time. I have it in sweet pea and I carry it wherever I go.

I have this in Pearberry. Wonderful smell, and the scent lasts a long time. The lotion moisturizes really well, but is a little too greasy for me.

This is my favorite hand cream to date! I can almost always get it on sale and it lasts quite a long time so I think it is a good value. It isn't sticky at all IMO but a tad greasy if I use too much. I like it in Warm Vanilla Sugar, Sun-Ripened Raspberry, and Cucumber Melon. I recently got 3 of these on clearance at B&BW for $5 each. $1 an ounce - much better than the $8 an ounce for L'Occitane's hand cream and I think B&BW's works better! continued >>
