Best sunscreen i have ever used. I like the texture, it looks concentrated but it is light after applying to the skin and doesn't leave any white trace like some products with high SPF. It doesn't cause any break out. The price is reasonable too. I will definately buy it again.

i bought this to use it for my face. although the product description sounded promising, it leaves a white cast, has a strong scent, and broke me out. i expected better from such a $$ ss.
for reference, i have oily acne prone skin with nc 35, c4 asian skin

I'm using the 2nd bottle of it. It's HKD210/60ml, not really expensive comparing to other sunscreens I've used. It smells like the classic herbal scent just like the other Sekkisei products do which I like it very much. According to a Taiwan website, it contains about 19% zinc oxide (which is a very high proportion) and Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate. About the texture, it's not that 'fluid', it's like 80%fluid and 20%cream....if you know what i mean. It's non greasy and gives a really good protection from the sun. It's kind of like the best sunscreen I've used but I'm still looking for something lighter for summer use.

I absolutely love this product. Its easy to smooth evenly over my face as oppose to La roche posay's sun block which is good just that you have to be careful not to rub when applying it otherwise things like rubber would rub off your face. Its not too heavy and thick and i love the light scent. The pa +++ protection is the highest rating and that is important in a hot climate i live in.
I think the thing i love the most is the texture, its light and smooth, and it doesn't feel like a mask that covers your face and doesn't let your skin breathe. This is my first bottle and i'm looking to stock up on this.

I bought this at a promotion of 36 SG dollars with a free lotion mask. In HK, it would probably be about ten bucks cheaper due to the current exchange rates. Thus, price wise, I think it is value for money since Kose is considered one of the higher end cosmetics brands ( though it's at the lower end of all the brands). Anyway, the texture is extremely matte but non-drying. I was told by the SA that it has whitening properties but this wasn't stated on the packaging box so I thought she was just lying about it. After using it for less than a month, I noticed that my skin is fairer. However, I'm not sure whether this was caused by the sunblock or the fact that my face has always been fairer compared to the rest of my body. This product doesn't clog pores and I could easily remove with a makeup remover instead of an oil cleanser. Furthermore, it has the classic Kose herbal scent and controls oil production extremely well. Personally, I think this product is meant for all skin types as I have dry/normal skin and my friend who has oily skin, have been using this for months without any repercussions.

So far, this would be the best (and most expensive) sunscreen I've used. Texture wise, it's rather fluid.... and is not cream-based like other European skincare lines. Glides on the face pretty effortlessly without any trace of white cast or what-so-ever.
This range is supposed to be the hydrating, therefore, if you're prone to oiliness or prefers a formula that is mattifying, then this sunscreen may not be for you. What I do like about it is it left my skin soft and rather hydrated (other sunscreens I've used left my skin feeling dry by the end of the day). I did not suffer from any allergy reaction nor break outs either.
Comes with a slight scent, that's uniform across the other Sekkisei range, but doesn't bother me. In terms of whitening properties or the prevention of dark spots, I really can't tell because I'm fair and haven't suffered from pigmentation in the first place (touch wood !).
Can't remember how much this retails for, I got the Sekkisei range in a promo.... around MYR250 for 4 products in total, so it was quite a bargain I must say =).
