I started using this product about 3 months back... and honestly it hasn't done anything I was hoping or expecting it to do. I read in so many magazines that it was the hot product every teen had, and it clears up acne. So I thought I'd try it out. It didn't do anything. None of my pimples and zits cleared up, and in fact, it just made me break out more and would not take care of blemishes on my face no matter how many times a day I washed my face. Even when I didnt have any blemishes and just washed my face with it normally, it dried my face right up. The scent and packaging reel you in, but in reality it isn't anything special and it's not as great as it is said to be.

This stuff is great. I have really bad acne not cystic or anything just alot of small clusters of pimples on my forehead and chin.
I also have alot of acne scars.. but i used to use this stuff a while ago then i got some clinique 3 step as a gift so i started using that instead. i couldnt understand why my skin just kept getting worse and worse, i got new breakouts nearly daily and i was desperate to find something that worked.
i started using this stuff again and my breakouts have calmed down and i havent got any more. I stil have scars but i cover them up with make up.
also its like ten bucks here which is really good!

I like how this does not irritate my skin at all. I have had some cases of allergies and rashes on my skin, and this face wash did not irritate it at all! It is very gentle on sensitive skin.

Likes: skin feels supple, clean and fresh after use. cleans off the gunk and smooths rough skin.
Dislikes: after using approx. 3/4 of the bottle, I had dry flaky red skin around my nose and neck so i diluted it and it was ok. smells of chemicals, and it stung my eyes like crazy.
Overall: did not clear my acne though i like the clean feeling it gave, would probaly buy again if no other products are successfull.

Best face wash I have used. Makes my face feel fresh and clean as soon as I wash. A plus is that it is also great for my oily, acne prone skin. It is also very inexpensive.

This product irritated my skin like crrrrazy! I saw that it was reccommended in the commericals and after seeing some reviews on it, I decided to purchase this. It smells like school hand soap and it broke me out even worse! Def. NOT for sensitive skin. After using this product my face got even more broken out and it did a lot of harm than helpign my skin.

I've been using this for three days and the usually perfect skin on my cheeks is incredibly dry. The zits on my t-zone are also not improved at all. Also, when I first bought it the pump wasn't working (it started to work recently). I threw it away almost full and will NOT repurchase it. I definately don't recommend this, especially for people with normal or dry skin ANYWHERE on their face.

Dried out my skin and made it burn. Horrible stuff for my sensitive skin. It didn't hurt my boyfriend's skin (but also doesn't help his acne). I do NOT recommend this wash, there's much better products out there.

A bit too watery but overall a good wash for oily skin. My dermatologist recommends this. Plus it's about $5 at Target.

I've been using this for two months and my skin looks worse than it ever has. I didn't have a problem with it drying out my skin like some reviewers have complained about but I now seem to have more pimples. I'm going back to using Clean & Cleam Continuous Control. I don't know why I ever switched... it was a big mistake. continued >>

Have just used it for 10 days, seem to work ok on my acne-prone skin (caused by using Jurlique) . Would update after using it longer.
Update: After about 3 weeks it actually cause little acnes to grow on my forehead & found it very drying for the skin, too. continued >>

Great cleanser for those with moderate to severe acne. I have to disagree with what the self-proclaimed Dumb Blonde said. Do not I repeat, do not use acne cleansers to remove eye makeup!!! Even if you do "keep your eyes closed tight" !! The skin around the eyes needs to be treated completely differently, and is way more delicate. Do your research!!

I only used this product twice and my skin dried out very badly. It was red and very itchy and came up with lots of small blemishes that took a few days to go away. EDIT: My skin had such a severe reaction to this product, after it dried my skin out I then developed pin head size blisters over my whole face, the bottom half of my face became swollen and red and the skin dried up like sunburn. It took over a week of using a very high quality cream for eczema (I have never had any skin problems) for it to return to normal.

Best thing I've used so far for clearer and cleaner skin. So basic in it's formula but it works! Also not too expensive and often on sale!!

For any anti-acne product, they needa to be used at least 2 weeks to work
coz, it take times for the salicylic acid to remove ur accumulated dead skin in ur pore..... imagine if a cleasnser remove all ur dead skin overnight, how terrible will it be? it's no different from squezzing them outa ur pore and leave scars......
anyway, it can be a little bit dry, but u know, it's for acne prone oily skin, so the skin itself can balance it by its own....
not recommend to dry skin though...

I read about this product from seventeen magazine. I have very oily skin that breaks out often. I heard so much about it that I wanted to have a try for myself. Needless to say it did not work well for me at all. It made my face very dry, to the point I had to moisturize. It didnt help with my break outs at all. My face was just the same, except more dry. I felt like it wasnt really cleaning my face. I used it until 3/4 was left and trashed it. I really wished it would work, but it didnt.

I am surprised to read so many negative review of this product. Personally I found it excellent and I have combo/acne prone skin. In all honesty I believe that you have to keep using a product until its finished before you can see its full effects and have an opinion. It started out ok and by time I had finished it I was all clear! THEN i discovered that the kind people at Neutrogena UK had decided to discontinue it. I liked the fact that it looks so unfashionable and doesn't perfectly lather like many mainstream products (it does have excellent pump..why dont they all?!). As far as drying out the skin...if you use a good moisturiser you'll be fine. I certainly wouldn't recommend an oil free moisturiser with this product, because it is quite drying. By the time I managed to order the product from abroad, I had already switched to all Dermalogica which so far certainly has its pluses and minuses (will review when finished!). So if that doesn't work I'll be back to the more economic old favourite, Acne Wash! (Clear Pore wash in UK)

I don't think I would buy this again. I have oily skin and found this to be kinda drying and it made my face red. I use another 2% salicylic acid product already so there is no need to wash with a 2% salicylic acid product as well. It is overkill on your skin! If it gets in your eyes, it will sting! Better off using a gentle face wash.

This product makes my face red & itchy. It also makes my old blemish more obvious which i don't understand. Definetaly a NO for me.
UPDATE: I tried it again after a one week & now i have to say that my skin have gone accustomed to it & it's loving it. This product goes very well with MD Gylcolic cleanser. My face is looking fresher and brighter. Now i actually leave this product on my face for a few mins before i wash it out. I found out that salycic acid has the property to go deep in your pore & exfoliate the inside (instead of just teh surface). I guess that is why my skin was really sensitive, red & tender when i first start using it. continued >>
