Like I've been finding with a lot of mascara it doesn't live up to the hype. It will give you dark lashes but it clumps fairly bad, it looks alright at a distance but up close it looks god awful. It lengthens in a spider leggy kind of way and it irritates my eyes a bit, it might flake a little. If you're someone who just uses one coat of mascara and doesn't try to build it this might be ok. However seeing as most women wants either a false or natural look this really isn't really a good in between of either. I've had more luck with drugstore brands that have plastic applicators than big named brands. I think if you're going to invest in a good high end mascara the wire brush ones are usually better.

I don't get all the negative reviews on this. I have very fine and thin and pretty sparse eyelashes. The only thing they really have going for them is they are fairly long and already have a natural curl to them.. the few that I have. I have tried tons of mascaras and I have now decided that I need to wait until after I have used almost the whole tube before reviewing. It seems so many different kinds of mascaras look great at first but then dry out or just seem to quit working by the time the bottle isn't even half used. Not this one. While I maybe wasn't AS blown away the first time I used this product as a few others, I did think it made my lashes look really nice.... but I have now had this tube for almost six months and have been using this mascara about 3 times a week and it still does the same great job as the first time I used it! There is not a single other mascara out there that I have tried that I can say the same for. Great job of separating, volumizing and defining and a great deep black color. No clumpling! I love this product and think it is an amazing value and will definitely repurchase for the lasting power of the tube alone!!

I received a sample as part of a set, so keep that in mind. It's an okay mascara, but doesn't do anything a Maybelline mascara can't do. I started buying the department store mascara's to get something with staying power, and unfortunately this starts flaking at about 6 hours. It's also kind of scratchy when I put it on (had this problem with Doll Lashes from Lancome as well). It does look nice when I do have it on, and is better than average at separating my lashes, but there are better products out there.

To start off, my lashes are very thin and not wispy long, albeit already curled and not so badly sparse.
I got the sample size from the Sephora Lashstash. I had very low expectations on this one, as high-end brand mascaras tend to perform below expectation. So I was incredibly surprised when I swiped the mascara on my lashes, it did make them look big!
I like the packaging. It looks sleek as I don't fancy odd packaging that takes up space in my vanity and purse. The brush is the plastic bristle kind and I like that it reaches every single smallest stubs at the corner of my eyes.
I always apply mascara by first holding it vertical and "wet" my lashes. Then, I swipe from the top once and "clean" up by swiping from under the lashes. Another coat and I surprisingly got wispy, separated, long, voluminous lashes! I really couldn't believe my eyes! And it was not stiff at all as well.
What I like even more, I went out crazy drinking and dancing the whole night, sweating like crazy. NO panda eyes, which all other waterproof mascaras failed to avoid. And I have very, very OILY lids. The mascara helped with keeping my eyeliner in place as well. I had a stomach cramp when I got home until the next day, so I just curled in bed crying. Still no panda eyes, although it has somewhat flaked off the next day but there were still some left on my lashes.
All in all, this is one amazing mascara and I will surely repurchase, if only I have money to throw around. Too bad I'm still in uni and on a strict budget. I would love love love to have this. Especially in the mini size. I feel it is perfection.
EDIT: I have my friend falls in love with this, too. We were at our guys' place (they're housemates) getting ready to go out and she forgot her mascara and asked for mine (not too hygienic, I know :p). She squealed from the room in amazement. And she also fell for the name. Lashgasm. Awesome. :D

I have tried just about every mascara out there and this is so far my favorite. It is my go to for sure. I like it because I don't have to apply more than 1 coat and it does not smudge off during the day.
The negatives for this mascara are: Stiff lashes and they don't curl

This mascara gives me instant length and volume... its quite impressive how fast I can get a nice set of good looking lashes w/ this. Unfortunately it can't hold a curl and flakes down my cheeks by mid day. *sigh* Overall a decent result but I NEED CURL and NO flakes. Onto the next!

I got this from the Sephora Lashstash set. It clumps up on my lashes and gives them the spider leg look. It gives me length but not volume. The staying power is ok. I have oily eyelids but this doesn't smudge. What I look for in a mascara is that it doesn't smear and it gives me volume. So it passes the first test but fails the second. I don't think I will go buy the full size.
Pro:
--doesn't smear
Con:
--clumps
--doesn't give me volume.

I got a trial size of this in the Sephora Last Stash set. At first, I loved the brush because the little rubber bristles on the brush do a good job of separating and coating my sparse lashes. I like the size of the brush because it can get into the tiny corners of my eyes and the formula is nice and wet, so it coats lashes easily.
However, once the formula dried, I had spidery lashes. My lashes were also crusty to the touch, and this flaked all over my eyes throughout the day. Overall, the brush is great but the formula flakes. Would not repurchase.

I love the brush on this mascara and I love how wet it is. I thought because of these two factors that I would absolutely love this product. Sadly, it simply doesn't cut it for me. It just clumps up on my lashes no matter how I try to apply it and o matter how slowly I try to apply it. I was hoping this would be a great mascara but sadly I was greatly disappointed. The only way I was able to make this work for me was by layering it over Makeupforever's smoky lash. Yet, this is far too much work for somebody who is looking for an all in one mascara. I will not be repurchasing this.

I got this as a sample along with my Too Faced purchase and I decided to give it a go (even though I rarely wear mascara because it usually bothers my eyes) But I LOVED this mascara. It made my lashes fuller and longer. It lasts all day and the brush is just beautiful. I admit it was difficult to open, but it definitely didn't disappoint!

I got a small tube as part of a Ulta special for buying Too Faced. The Candlelight primer was sold out so they only gave me the mascara. I tried to get it open and it was almost impossible. In fact, I broke the tube open trying to get it open. Just a warning. I then had to take tweezers and pull off the tight plastic wrap. Why in the world would they need to wrap a sample size like that?! It's a gift they keep behind the counter anyway, so no one is going to steal it. I curled my lashes and felt like I had to apply it right away or it will dry out. It's very black, but it's a little clumpy and spidery. Still, I kind of like it and will give it more of a try or a week of testing.

I received the full size of this mascara in the Too Faced In Your Dreams set over Christmas. I liked that I was getting a full-sized product in the set, but admittedly wasn't too excited over the mascara and definitely wasn't expecting much. I had just run out of my last mascara (Benefit They're Real) and so I began using this one. I was really impressed, even from the first use! This makes my lashes gorgeously long and very black. There is minimal clumping due to the brush, and the brush is very easy to maneuver. Perhaps this could do a but more volumizing, but that's me just reaching for a possible criticism of this product! Really glad that I found another great mascara out there!

I LOVE this mascara. I was hesitant to try another Too Faced mascara after the terrible experience I had with Too Faced Lash Injection but picked it up anyway because I love Too Faced products in general. I was not disappointed with this one at all. It is more of a wet mascara but does not take long to dry and lasts all day without need to re-apply. I love the brush because its small enough to get to your lower lashes and inner corners. It really lengthens your lashes and I was asked a couple times if I was wearing false lashes which I never wear. It really curls your lashes and just looks great. It kind of reminded me of Urban Decay's supercurl curling mascara. Also the packaging was really cute :) I highly recommend this mascara even though it is a bit pricey at $21.

I received this product in the Too Faced Beautiful Dreamer Makeup Collection. I like this mascara. It's definitely a wet mascara, but it separates my lashes and holds my natural curl all day. I wouldn't repurchase this product, simply because it's $21.

This came with a Sephora especial. I tried it few days ago and I didn't like it. It is too wet and the brush is just not good for this. It is flaky and it clumps. I wouldn't recommend it.

TO simplify this: I do like this, it looks awesome on the lower lashes, they look bold and dark and the brush works really well for it. I just really hate it on my top lashes. It looks clumpy and unnatural. But for some reason, it's perfect for the bottom lashes. I don't think I would repurchase this because I'm willing to try out some cheaper mascaras to bring out my lower lashes.

At first when I purchased it I figured it would be okay it was recommended by a few SA's highly. It was okay the first couple times of use, but it really was a big waste of money. I find that this mascara does not coat the lashes in a smooth manner. It tends to be flaky in look and feel. It flakes early on in wear, and is over all lacking depth in color. I found the formula unable to give either volume or length. As much as I do tend to love my HE products, I would take my 5 dollar DS mascara over this. The packaging is nice which for me is not a good enough redeeming quality.

This mascara is amazing! It makes my lashes look like falsies and doesn't clump! I got a sample of this for free but I would pay 21 dollars for this!

Too faced does not make good mascara! I have used and returned Lash Injection and now this one is going back.
This mascara is very wet and takes forever to dry. After I applied it this morning, I smudged my entire cheek with black, tarry mascara. I had to reapply my foundation and blush & that never happens to me with other mascaras.
I'm not sure if I got a bad one, but when I pulled the brush out, all the product came out in one big, giant blob, I had to scape the side of the tube to remove the excess and this stuff goes on CLUMPY! Oh my word, does this stuff clump! I really had to work it to get it to go on smooth and without clumps. I have long lashes to begin with and this product made them look kind of freakishly long. It volumizes pretty well.
This would be a good mascara for somebody with short eyelashes who does not mind working out the clumps when applying it. continued >>

I got this in a set as a gift (I would not pay the $21 for it, if you are thinking of doing so). I am a Too Faced fan in general, but I don't think this lived up to its clever name. Maybe I am biased because I prefer old-school brushy, rather than the rubber, mascara wands. This mascara went on very dark and gave me a good amount of length. It made my lashes really crunchy and a little clumpy though and didn't do anything for volumizing or thickness. It's okay.
