I love this nail polish, this is one of my favorite colors. I used a little more then half the bottle. I'm looking to buy or swap for another. Let me know if your swaping one :)

This is a very pretty medium grey with a slight lilac undertone. It has bits of silver micro-shimmer. The colour looks sophisticated and chic and comes off looking more soft than "edgy" on my medium skin-tone. I usually do two coats to get an opaque colour. I didn't give it 5 lippy's because I found the formula a little hard to work with. It dries super quickly so you need to work fast in order to prevent streaks and thick patches.

This color is best appreciated close up. The color won't really show up in pictures or if your waving at some one. From far away it looks gray-ish. But if you look closely it is definately a lilac color, with a subtle green shimmer. I love it, I wish the color was more obvious though.
As for the formula...It is quite sheer. I use 3 coats. I don't mind having to apply a few coats. That ensures faster drying time, and a more even application. Also, I have to wipe the brush almost clean before polishing my nail, because too much of the product is on the brush.

Beautiful muted grayish purple taupe color with a fabulous green shimmer. The shimmer is subtle and nicely accents the lilac shade. It's sheer but I got decent coverage from 3 thin coats. I feel this shade would compliment anyone. Highly recommended and even if you don't end up liking the price is reasonable enough ($3 on average) to not feel too guilty for throwing it away.

This is such a unique np color! I would describe it as a silvery grey lilac JELLY. I have never seen such depth in a greige shade but it also has a translucence that is really stunning. The addition of the green shimmer makes it even more ethereal. It's very reminiscent of a winter sky which looks like an indeterminate shade of blue-grey/lilac/pink with faint rays of sun reflecting off of the snow with a subtle blueish green iridescence. It's fairly sheer so you need at least two coats to get the bottle color. Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear as always, lasts a long time on me. Very happy with the purchase.

This just isn't working for me. The formula is okay but this greige w/ subtle green shimmer ... I don't get what the rage is all about. I should have bought another bottle of Purple Gala instead of this.

LOVE the lilac color. Add the green shimmer and you have a winner!

You need at least 3 coats to get good coverage. The color is a very muted lilac. I like the subtle green shimmer. I didn't think it would compliment my skin tone well but it looks fine. The brush doesn't hold as much paint as I would like it to. But for $3 this polish is worth it.

I had to be a party-pooper, but I don't like this polish. Or more accurately I don't like this polish on it's own. First though, the formula: thin, runny, refuses to dry. I applied 4 coats and still had bald spots, and despite trying to carefully control the amount of polish on the brush completely flooded my cuticles. Secondly it won't dry. I have a few Xtreme Wear's that are like that, so I wasn't really surprised, just disappointed. It also pulls pure lilac on me; no 'muddy' about it. Still I am giving this 2 lippies because I find that if I put a layer of this over Xtreme Wear 'Wet Cement' I really like the color since it's more a gray-lilac, which looks great w/ my skintone. It still takes a long time to dry, but not as bad as when I use it on it's own.

I cannot pull off the now fashionable "mud" shades ie. the taupey-purples. (My hands are a bit uneven in color and a bit ruddy around the cuticles.) This is a gorgeous alternative. More of an antique mauve than a smoked greyish lavender, "Mystic Lilac" is a cream with iridescent shimmer. Really lovely after 3 non-streaky coats, wears well and easy removal sunday night. :) Really excited about his shade. My only gripe is that it is not part of the "Sally Hansen Complete Salon" line, which includes all the extra "good-for-you" nail goodies and THAT BRUSH. But alas.. we cannot have everything. Stock up now, because I have a feeling it will be gone for good very quickly. Love it!!

I hadn't yet jumped on the taupe nail polish band wagon, but bought this nail polish today, and absolutely LOVE it! It says it lilac but its kind of a taupe-y lilac with green shimmer. I kinda wish I had tried these nail polishes before because they are really good quality for the price! And they have so many beautiful shades....thinking about going back to meijer and getting a few more (they're BOGO 50%). The consistency is perfect, goes on smooth and seems to dry pretty fast also (even after 3 coats!). The shade is pretty sheer so you do have to layer it to get the color on the bottle, but I don't mind at all because even with one coat I think it gives a really pretty subtle effect, for days when I don't really want obvious nail polish on. But, right now I have 3 coats and it looks so great...I keep staring at my nails! Definitely pick this one up!

This can be described as a lilac polish with taupe/grey undertones and a green shimmer. It is extremely gorgeous! Application is smooth and easy, but can be sheer---you may need 3 coats. Wear lasted about 4 days and easy removal. Retails for $2.99 CDN at RCSS.
