I got this at Marshall's, thanks to the previous reviewer for letting me know where to get this as my Ulta did not carry this model.
The iron retails for 99 dollars on the Rusk site and 42 dollars (at the time of this review) on Amazon, but Marshall's does sell it for 24.99. I got the last one! There were plenty of Chi's to pick from so I thought it was a good sign that there was only one left.I am so happy with my purchase- it heats up very quickly which is great, and made my hair full instead of flat like a lot of other irons. The Go Green parts means less packaging, extra material that you don't need on the iron, and a more energy efficient chord. I am going to buy another one to have a backup, which I never do.

OK so I was in the search of a flat iron because my CHI was having some electrical problems and I need it a replacement for like yesterday ;)
And I came across this one at my local Marshall and boy this is my HG flat iron so far better than my old CHI it leaves my hair STRAIGHT,smooth, shiny and not to mention it cost me $24.99 and is a green product so that is plus for me.Overall I totally recommend this flat iron, because it does everything it says does plus more.I'm very happy that I bought it!!!

Age: 25-29 Skin: Dry, Fair, Neutral Hair: Blond, Curly, Coarse Eyes: Blue

Like the reviewer before me, my Chi was burning out and I was on my second one. I have thick coarse curly hair and I only used to straighten my hair maybe once a week so I was annoyed that my Chi had burnt out after a year. A co-worker had suggested trying Rusk and I was a little iffy to try a new brand but found this one that has been retailing at a local salon for $160 (Canadian) for less then half price on sale so I couldn't refuse. I am so glad I did. This one works so much better on my stubborn frizzy hair. It leaves it smooth and straight and if need be I can leave it for three days and it's still straight! Which has never happened with my Chi. It's super light which at first felt kind of cheap to me but actually it's a really good thing especially if it takes you a while to do your hair. I only have to do one pass on my hair and it's soft instead of feeling like I just fried it. So yep, love love love it. The only complaint I can find is that my hair does snag sometimes as on mine there is about a two mm gap between the plates and the body (?) but it's not enough for me to worry about. In fact I went back and bought a second one at sale price just to keep one as backup.

REVIEW: My Chi finally died and I purchased Conair's Professional Ceramic Straightener with 2 inches plates which I detested (I did a review). I really wanted to buy another Chi, but a friend recommended I try Rusk as she loves and owns many other their styling products and tools. I purchased Rusk's Go Green iron for $65 at a local salon as the on-line prices ranged from $90 to $140, so I felt I got a great deal. Overall I just love this product and can't say enough good things about it. It's super light weight, has adjustable heat settings up to 446 F, never snags or pulls my hair in the plates, and delivers amazing results. My hair looks shiny, smooth, ultra straight, and not frizzy or damaged. I also like that it has a curved design which allows me the option of curling my hair too. Extremely happy with my purchase!!!
