This is the BEST. FOUNDATION. EVER!!!
It's really a liquid foundation (I thought creme foundations were more solid?) that comes in a plastic tube with a black screw on lid. It's perfect for travelling or small makeup bags as it won't break, the lid won't come off and it's a great size.
I couldn't believe how amazing this looks on! I couldn't stop touching my skin once I applied it, it feels SO soft!! I applied it straight after moisturising and it wasn't drying or heavy or caked-on at all. It is the first foundation I've ever tried (and I've tried a LOT) that just looked like my skin but MUCH better.
It has medium coverage that can be built up, but one pea-sized application softened up my very dark scarring (I always expect to use concealer anyway, as that's what it's for). This lasted all day without wearing off and I didn't even powder over the top.
It really is amazing for oily skin types as I didn't have to blot throughout the day. Seriously, this foundation is what dreams are made of!
The only downside is that it's hard to track down. I live in New Zealand and it's not available here, but I purchased it when I was in Australia. It's pretty affordable and has a good range of colours (I tried shade 51 which would suit NC40-42). I don't know why this brand and this foundation doesn't have more popularity, as it really is amazing. HG for me!!
the best foundation i've ever come across!
i got in sample size as i purchased their eyeshadows, the SA gave me three packs of YSM Cream Foundation.
say no bullsh*t, this thing has a nice coverge without being cakey and heavy feeling on the skin. when i saw "cream foundation" i got to tell myself "ok, im going to get heavy coverage and feeling cakey a lil bit" .. the i decided to use a dime size, it surprised me! the consistency is like water-based formula but the coverage is pretty awesome! totally buildable. Please don't get tricked with its "cream foundation", seriously it is sooo light! the finishing is pretty darn cool. you don't need powder to set it and feels so smooth. def going to repurchase and buy the regular size. ð
My favorite foundation, Make Up For Ever Face & Body Liquid Makeup, in shade 34, seems to have disappeared...I have MAC Face & Body, but in the last couple of weeks my discolorations have started going crazy because no matter how much sunscreen I use, the sun darkens my skin. I've been searching for a natural-looking foundation that offers decent coverage and doesn't get gross with my sunscreen, and I've been striking out. My skin is probably around NC-37 right now, with dark gray-brown melasma splotches, and sadly, finding the right formula for me in a dark enough color for me is no easy task. After spending hours at Sephora one night and leaving empty-handed I found myself at Inglot the following day. The SA in Inglot listened carefully to my foundation requirements and handed me YSM Cream Foundation in shade 52. When I saw "cream", I said, "But I'm OILY." Then I tried this, and after being excited about the shade match I decided I really like the texture. It's actually a bit mattifying, but not like clay and it spreads evenly and easily. The coverage is very good, and Inglot's yellow concealer over the discolorations followed by this foundation, helps brighten their ashy look. After hearing the price of $16.00 I was sold. I'm very happy with this product.
The Inglot YSM cream foundation is a quite good foundation for people who are looking for a light - medium coverage.
I really like this foundation because it is so lightweight, you don't feel like you're wearing any foundation. The coverage is okay. I don't need alot of coverage so this one works great for me. But if you have alot of acne scars this might not be a good foundation for you. The foundation blends easily and the color 50 suits my skin tone perfectly.
This is a light to medium coverage foundation. It feels creamy on my skin and it blends really well. I have very dry skin and this foundation did not dry out my skin. I set the foundation with a light translucent powder and it stayed on all day. I wished that they come in darker shades for my skin tone.
I bought this foundation (shade #43) the last time I was in Poland.
This foundation really doesn't offer much coverage and my requirement for foundations is that they have medium to heavy coverage.
So it's not for me.
But points for the fact that this brand is usually very unique and that it's Polish!
I've been using this foundation for 3 weeks now and thought it was time for a review! I wear shade 41, which matches my NW15-20 skin really well. The coverage is medium, I would say. It's very blendable and layers beautifully to full coverage. I've tried it with and without the Inglot primer and I have to say that it really made no difference in the look. Setting powder is a must with this if you have oily skin like me. The finish is satin-matte, but my sunscreen underneath makes it look a bit shiny. I tried Inglot YSM compact powder to set it, but unfortunately, the lightest shade they make is too dark for me. It actually darkens the shade of the foundation. Instead, I use a translucent powder like ELF studio finish powder and it looks great. The one thing that sold me on this foundation is that it DOES NOT BREAK ME OUT. I've been using (and struggling with) mineral makeup for years, but my skin has never really appreciated the fact that it's supposed to be better for you. LOL Anyway, I'm really loving this foundation and I highly recommend it.
This foundation did not work so well for me. I have clear, blemish-free skin, so I don't really need much coverage. This product is quite heavy in coverage, caked easily, and accentuated all of the fine lines on my forehead (and I'm only 23, with very few lines!). When I look at pictures of myself wearing it, the foundation makes my skin look pasty white (even though I consulted with a professional Inglot artist for help finding my shade). It also rubs off REALLY easily! After a day of wearing it, I found foundation stains around the collar of my shirt, and where the shirt had touched my chin and jaw. When I was wearing it, my roommates would tell me, "woah! You are wearing a lot of makeup today", even though I really hadn't put much on--it just caked and look so unnatural on me. Luckily, I discovered Make-up Forever Face & Body foundation (extremely sheer, lightweight, and acts like a second skin), and haven't looked back since. Goodbye crappy Inglot foundation!
Not my go to foundation but its really nice.
doesn't break me out
Colours can be a little yellowish sometimes or a little beige
doesn't completely cover my pimple scars
can make my chin look 'hairy' if not blended well
Oh my word. Hands down my HG foundation. If you have oily/combo skin like me, you have to try this foundation.
It provides a true semi-matte finish with medium coverage. feels so lightweight and natural and looks amazing after 10 hours of wear.
I use this over the Revlon PR Perfecting primer and I cannot believe how wonderful my skin looks. It doesn't look cakey or mask-like in the slightest way. I powder with UD de-Slick and normally have to blot only once throughout the day.
I purchased this in 41, 43 and 45 because I go from NC20 in the colder months to NC35 in the warmer ones.
I can't rave enough about this. INGLOT is so overlooked when it comes to foundation! Check it out.
