I purchased this lipstick back when I first began to explore the make-up world. The color drew me instantly however upon applying I realized I had made a mistake. I loved the color itself just not on me, it soon got lost in my make-up bag. Recently my sister rediscovered it and to my surprise it looks fabulous on her, she says it stands behind its name as it stays on during the day and it is highly pigmented.
Love this pretty, cool toned pink.
Quite pigmented.
Can be a little drying though.
I wore it for my wedding, it lasted longer than the one my makeup artist used.

First things first, I have already returned this product.
So basically I purchased it on a whim and REALLY regretted it.
2 points to make on this product:
- The color looks pretty in the tube: a rosy, babyish pink that is highly pigmented. However, it is too 'pink' for me. I was looking for a my-lips-but-better shade of pink. Certainly not this.
- Yes, this pro formula stays on your lips. But the downside is that it is incredibly drying. My lips are on the dry side so those lip balm/lip gloss tricks just don't help, honestly. Matte + dry lips = absolute disaster. Point made.
I learnt my lesson and I will never buy anything from the matte/pro line. I returned it and got a Cremesheen lipstick instead.
This is the perfect baby pink barbie lipstick. Every time I run out of this, I always pick one up at my nearest MAC store. Could be drying on the lips though and the staying power of the lipstick works well on me. If you do not like how matte and dry the lipstick could be, try applying a little bit of lipgloss over it.
This is a baby pink with no blue in it, looks great with my NW25 skin tone. I also think it brings out my hazel eyes. I do apply just a little gloss in the middle of my upper and lower lips just to give it a little moisture, but its not necessary. It is long wear, and I will repurchase as I get a lot of compliments on it. Oh, and I like to put two coats on just to amp up the color.

I like Overtime. It's a nice blue-based baby pink, and it does wear long. On me however it is a bit drying, so I like to dab some lip balm over top. It does feel a little tacky sometimes as well. Overall it's a nice pink, but I'm not sure I'd repurchase, just because I don't think it's very unique, even in the MAC line, and I don't mind reapplying something if it won't dry my lips out.

i love the color of this l/s. it goes on beautifully & when paired with magenta lipliner it's beautiful. it applies like a dream so creamy and wonderful, but quickly becomes a nightmare of sticky yuck unless a gloss is applied over it. i would sing its praises if it weren't for that. i assume this comes from the "long-wearing" formula- if so, the formula needs work. continued >>

WOW!!
That's the best way of explaining this product.
I'm certain that all of the colours are as stunning as this and will apply and last as well also.
This is more of a mousse or something rather than a lipstick...
It's nice and moisturizing and soft to wear.
It looks great with pretty much any look your going for and it stays on for hours and hours!!
I can drink repeatedly with bearly any of this coming off, yet unlike some lipsticks, it's not at all difficult to remove and I've never had this drying my lips out (if anything it helps them and keeps them moist!)
I seriously hope people get these because they will be so happy with the results and seriously for anyone who wants one of these but might be a little reluctant, GET IT.... seriously it's amazing!!!
I will get another one of these when it's gone, it's a must!

I bought that lipstick about a week ago, since I was interested in the "pro longwear"-fact.
First of all I have to tell, that I'm not really a big lover of those super-longwearing-lipsticks, since I know just two types of longwearing lipsticks: Either the ones which definitely don't last as long as they claim to or the ones which are terribly drying, crumbling and then you have to walk around with that disgusting looking flaking lipcolor on your lips....
I choose "Overtime" since it is close to a Ben Nye lipcolor I really love (I think its "First Blush") and I'm running out of it so it was a good opportunity to test something new if it comes in nearly the same color.
The texture of the lipcreme is thinner than I expected it to be and I was expecting a little more pigmentation as it actually has. Therefore it is easier to apply than the thick and very high pigmented mattes.
I tried to use it after I had concealer on my lips and without the concealer....I think it lasts longer without the concealer but still the lasting power is not really a miracle to me. It is staining glases (not as bad as other lipsticks, but still) and it's just a little better than other lipsticks in surviving food and I'm a careful eater.
At least it is not crawling into the fine lines around your lips.
I gave it 3 lippies as an overall rating since as a lipstick it is kind of okay and I like the color. As mentioned before, it is a little more longwearing than the other lipsticks, but still it is not that good as it claims to be.
I would maybe repurchase, but just because of the color, not because of its "staying power".

this lipstick goes on sooo creamy and lovely, I put it on to try it out and after I was done cleaning my house 3 hrs later it was still on. It does dry out a little bit but I fixed that by putting some mac lipglass over it! Lovely flattering colour, Im usually a bit scared of baby pink colours but this was perfect.
