this is a very very bad brush to apply powder foundation.
it's soft but also very fluffy, not dense at all..
i got this brush like 2-3years ago when i just started using mineral makeup. even as a newbie, i knew it's such a horrible brush. and the price is expensive. dunno why i was so stupid to bought this that time. *sigh*
anyway..i like its short handle and silver color.
i think it's cute. so i tried to find another way to use this brush. one day, i applied my crystalline cat glow powder using this, and it was awesome. because this brush doesn't make any coverage.. so, it makes a very sheer effect that is perfect for using glow powder as it won't make my face too glowy, it just gives nice dewy finish which I'm looking for..
Price -- $18.75
Not very impressed by this brush. The brush is not necessarily scratchy, but it's not soft or "luxurious", to borrow from the brush's name. The bristles feel cheap and plastic-y. For $18 (which is pricier than the much better quality Sigma flat top, I might add) I expected better.
The bristles on this are not dense enough so there is not enough control over the brush. It does shed a few bristles with every use and smells odd. Whenever I have used this (for the meow purr-fect foundation and the top cat finishing powder) I usually end up looking powdery and..not hot. Haha.
Like the previous reviewer said, save your money for something better.
Great size (short handle), but this brush is scratchy and I've had a lot of shedding. The Indulgent Synthetic Flat Top is more than double the price, but worth it, so if you're looking for a great brush, get that one instead. Meow does have some great brushes, but this "luxury" brush isn't one of them.
EDIT: This does make a great blush brush, though!
