This of all I would like to say that this was the first cream/gel eye liner that I have ever purchased. So at the beginning I had nothing to compare it to so i thought it was great because i loved using an angle brush to apply I found it much easier then liquid eye liner. I pretty much used it on a daily basis, after about a month or so it started drying up and getting harder and harder. There was at least 80% of the product left when I had to throw it out 3 months later... after about one month it became really hard to apply, i would have to dip my brush at least 5-7 times to just do one eye and get it to the blackness I wanted... Which is pretty ridiculous! At the beginning it only took 2. I would not recommend it. If you want a cheaper gel/cream liner get the essence one, it's amazing!
I usually use MAC blacktrack fluidline but I am just about to hit pan and I wanted to try something cheap and different so I bought this and I am impressed! It is a great product for $3. I have been grabbing for this instead of my MAC blacktrack. I haven't had any problems with it smudging or transferring to my upper lid when I blink. I use a slanted liner brush to apply this product and it has been GREAT. Would purchase again and will recommend to all my friends. Hope that helps :)
Like most of the other commenters have been saying over and over again, this really is a steal for someone who is looking to try gel eye-liner. When you first buy it, it's wonderful. After a couple of months, it does dry out...but what's to expect when you invest only $3. It gets the job done, but after I'm done with this pot I will be trying a new brand.
I tried this and could not get a decent line or coverage. I used the cheapie brush included and on of my other better brushes to compare. I don't like the formula of this at all, streaky and tends to look dry and clumpy. The color was very pretty.

This eyeliner has a great consistency, it's easy to use, it wears well, washes off relatively easily and doesn't irritate my eyes even when I have contacts in. It's basically everything look for in a cream eyeliner and it's super cheap.
I'm a huge fan of cream eyeliner so to find a navy blue eyeliner is fantastic. The only problem I had is that it's a little darker than a navy blue. So I wouldn't consider it a midnight especially dealing with the fact that Elf's cream eyeliners sometimes dry out if you are not careful but they work for me.
Product is good. Cheap. A little too dark to be considered a dark blue for my taste but easy to use.

I bought this on a whim because it's whim cheap and I've been wanting to try cream eyeliner for some time now. (Cross that one off the bucket list--ha ha!)
Anyway, it's fine. I've never used any other cream eyeliner so I don't have much basis for comparison, but it lasted fine and I like the control and coverage the product gives. It could be a tad creamier for my taste, but I'm going to try mixing in a couple of eye drops as another reviewer suggested.
My only other issue is that I can't really see the navy blue in this color--it looks black to me. Maybe it's my lighting. I might mix in a little blue mineral eye shadow along with the eye drops.
Have been using this product in Midnight for months. Yes it has mostly dried out, but the middle is still pretty creamy. It's time to get a new pot anyway, but it is starting to flake bit. It was very inexpensive, it lasts on my eyes all day, spreads nicely and stays put. Definitely one of the best values ever.
Very pigmented, blendable, long-lasting (with primer)--- but if you don't use it very often, the product left in the pot dries out! It's a steal at $3, but I don't know that it's worth it if I have to keep replacing it. I have a few cream/gel liners I'm trying to use up (TonyMoly, Maybelline Eye Studio, and L'oreal Infalliable), and the E.L.F one is the only one I've had the drying out problem with. I'll probably purchase again in another color and try to be more conscientious about really tightening the lid and see if that does anything. I think it's worth one more try to find out.
