This iron works great, the high heat setting straightens my hair very fast and it stays straight until I wash it again. I also use it to add waves to my hair and they last a really long time even if I don't use hairspray. It got this iron for $192.50 from ebeauty.ca and I see myself using it for a long time so it's definitely worth it.

I purchased this for $225, but it's since been reduced to $175. This ceramic iron is the best I've used, with temperature adjustable between 140 and 450 degrees and a 1" plate that works for both straightening and curling. It has Gibson's signature sleek design, and the heat adjusts almost immediately. The big problem I have with this is that it doesn't have an auto shut-off in case you forget to unplug it, which is a feature offered by almost every other iron on the market over $100. Overall, I'm a huge fan of Gibson's styling tools, and use them on a near-daily basis.
