I love all of Kat Von D eyeshadow palettes. I use this one almost every day, great for a smoky eye. Her eyeshadows are very pigmented and blendable, and the colors are beautiful. They do not crease as other shadows that I have used do. I totally recommend any of her palettes.

Its so sad! This is the worst eyeshadow palette I ever purchased. It's been a year now with this and all of my cream shadows have completely dried out to the point where no colour can be transferred onto fingers or brush. It's rock solid. I kept it closed and rarely opened it to use it. That's the other thing.... I found many of the colours to be not that wearable for day. Glitter shadows had major fallout especially the lighter powdery ones. They bareley adhered to my eyes even with primer or a base. I'm surprised about the rave reviews.

I love this palette. I love all the colors on the right side and the left side is similar to the colors in metal orchestra which I already own. Go out and buy this if you can even though it's out of stock on Sephora right now, find them on ebay. The color is rich and pigmented and it's great for smokey eyes look.

Now I'm a huge fan of Kat's eyeshadow palettes, but this one is my least favorite. It has not one, but three of the cream shadows in it. I've owned the palette for about 3 months or so and those three have dried significantly. The darker two are still usable but are noticeably drier than when I purchased it.
I was disappointed by the darker eyeshadows, I was hoping that the red and blue tones to the shadows would show more but unfortunately they both just turn out black on my lids.
I wouldn't repurchase this palette, In fact.. i'm sure I will never hit pan on any of the shadows in it.

Well, I have all of the palettes but this one is somehow weird to me...I don't use it that much, although I'm a huge fan of a black smokey eye. I have the impression, that the blacks are not that pigmented (or I got a bad palette...), no matter how much primer I use beforehand. The cream eyeshadows I like, they're fun to play with, so are the greys. This palette though is rather something to use if you want to go "all the way" for your smokey eye, not so much for daytime. I have to admit it's the least used palette I own.

On the Sephora website this is called the Adora palette. This is a great palette if you want to create dramatic looks. There are a nice range of silvers and a nice range of really dark shadows. The shadows are all soft, nicely pigmented, and easy to work with. I don't have a problem with them creasing or fading because I always wear a primer. My only problem with this palette is that there are three cream shadows (silver, burgundy, and black), and although they are great shadows and I love wearing them, they dry out after several months, long before I can use them up. I wish they would come up with a way to extend the life of those shadows so you can get more use out of them. However, even though the cream shadows dry out after awhile, I would still repurchase this palette because the other shadows are so great.

I got this as a birthday gift from a dear friend of mine, and I honestly haven't been able to pull myself away since I received it!!! I find myself using at least one color from it everyday. Now, I must say, this palette isn't for the faint of heart. Even the lighter side of the palette is shimmery and bright. My everyday looks are typically dark, so I imagine a person who goes more neutral during the day would mainly use this to achieve evening looks instead. The darker side of the palette is my favorite. :} I'm head over heels for 'Ace of Spades' and 'Oddfellow', both are dark, rich, and glittery. I haven't had much of a chance to use the creams in the palette (Slayer, Crucifix, and Bloodletting) but they look like they would be great as bases for some of the other colors. The staying power is great for me, and I have very oily lids. I definitely would love to try more of her palettes!

I was given this by a friend and I really love this.
I only use this palette for night time looks because I prefer neutral colours through the day, but these are still great colours. They last all day, are very pigmented, don't crease, don't smudge, etc - same as every other Kat Von D palette I've tried :)

I'm a bit of a sucker for Kat Von D's range, especially these palettes so I couldn't refuse Love & Fury. Especially as it contained some really pretty burgundy shades. So, what's inside?
Albino - a very sparkly white
Holy Bible - bright, frosty silver
Slayer - shimmery silver cream shadow
Glock - shimmery dark grey (kind of a gunmetal shade)
Crucifix - black cream shadow
Bloodletting - an almost metallic-looking burgundy cream
Ace of Spades - deep blackened purple/burgundy shadow with purple & fuschia glittery flecks
Oddfellow - black shadow with blue & green glittery flecks
Not all the shadows in this palette are new. Slayer & Glock both came in the Metal Orchestra palette.
Most of Kat's palettes have featured a cream, this one has three. Usually I'm rather underwhelmed with the creams as they tend to have quite a dry texture. This is still true of Slayer. It didn't receive much love from me in Metal Orchestra & no doubt it will also go largely ignored in this palette too. Crucifix & Bloodletting are a different matter altogether.
Much more creamy textured than previous cream shadows in Kat's palettes, these are not only useable but downright gorgeous. Crucifix makes for a great eyeliner. I've also used it as a base for a smoky eye. It blended well with a clean finger and I had no trouble with creasing (I do use a primer so it may well be a different story on bare lids). Bloodletting makes a great crease colour, especially with Ace of Spades on the lid. Once again, it blended well (I used a MAC 217 brush), didn't fade or crease.
The two glittery shadows, Ace of Spades & Oddfellow are incredibly gorgeous in the pan. Like most glittery shadows, you won't get the full effect unless you use a damp brush. They're worth the effort though. Ace of Spades in particular is a shadow that I can't recall a dupe for. It's a one of a kind.
The other shades are pretty much what you'd expect from a Kat Von D shadow. Great texture that blends well & has great pigmentation. I will add that unless you love a super frosty brow highlight shade, Albino is best used on the lid or inner corner of the eye. There's just too much shimmer for me to use it on the browbone.
I was disappointed upon opening the packaging because Holy Bible had shattered. Luckily, I was able to repress it back into the pan & it's holding up just fine.
As always with this line, the packaging is nothing less than stunning. I like the fact that each palette now has a different colour on the lid as it'd get very confusing if they'd kept with the same design featured on Beethoven & Ludwig.
The two tiny brushes included aren't at all useful for applying the shadows but they'll do in a pinch for using one of the creams as an eyeliner.
As to whether I'd repurchase, Love & Fury has quickly become one of my favourite palettes from the range so, yes, if I ran out, I would definitely repurchase. continued >>

I just bought this palette today and love the fact that she's included one side w/lighter shades and the other w/darker shades. I own all the KVD palettes...so I might be a bit biased here...but I still love her shades! :)
