My hair styling routine nessisarily involves a hairsetter, i use them almost every day ethier to actually style and curl my hair but even just to polish messy hair or give straight hair some body. This obession started about a year and half ago and since then i have used many bad hairsetters and good ones, including my moms remmington metal core velvet lined ones from the early 90's (which are still the best but short all the time, and are not made any more for saftey reasons) so i was looking for something that came as close to my moms old hairsetter and i saw an article about the re-emergence of hair setters in allure and they reccomended these ones and I couldnt agree more. first they heat up in like 20 seconds! then they get very hot but have one end that is cool to the touch so that you do not burn yourself. Then they set the curl very fast i can put these in for five minutes and have curls that last all day. It also defrizzes and creates shiny curls , it never pulls or creates coarsness like i have experiences with other setters. The clips are also amazing , they dont create any bends at the roots like others and come with a case of thier own. So i know I am gushing but there are tiny little problems the first obvious one is that I wish instead of the tiny little rollers which there are about five i think, that there were more of the meduim and the large. I find im allways rationing the large rollers for the crown of my head , or just end up doing my crown in two sets which is fine i geuss because they heat up really fast, but yeah more larger rollers is one gripe, this may not be an issue if your hair is not really thick like mine. The other thing is that i wish the actual hairsetter was a little smaller, it isnt by any means large, i have used ones that were obnoxiously large and impossible to travel with but still i feel this could be shorter lengthwise as it is slightly long and akward to pack. other than that these are amazing, try them!
