This is product is quite impressive. Let me preface this review by saying I have African-American heritage which most likely explains my hair chemistry. My hair is naturally coarse, thick, wavy, and very dry. It has been regularly straightened 4x a week for the past six years. So there's a lot of baggage that comes with it. Good products for my hair are generally difficult to find.

I usually use Joico's K-Pax reconstructor or Sally's Beauty Supply Hair reconstructer; and an intense conditioner right after (Joico moisture balm). They restore the strength and "bounce" of my hair. However, a single use of the Mending Masque performs just like my routine, but better. My frizzies are tamed, it shines a lot more, and it isn't as brittle to the touch. It looks and feels healthier. I've been using it for a year now, once every two weeks (occasionally once a week) and just ran out.

Overpriced and very disappointing. I did not notice any difference after having applied this. Bumble & bumble has terrific styling products but shampoos/conditioners/masks are pretty average. Kerastase works much better than this. Would not repurchase.
** EDIT: I found a way to make this work better for me (but still not anywhere decent). I put it on and wrap my hair in cling film and leave it on for 30 minutes (and not 10 as advised). In this way it leaves hair more shiny and decently moisturised. It is not unique though, especially considering the high price tag. Not worth it at all, would stick to Kerastase. continued >>

My hair just drinks this stuff up! I have dry, damaged color treated hair and I've been thrilled with Bumble & Bumble's quenching and mending lines.
This one makes my hair feel so much fuller and stronger and I see results instantly when I work it through after conditioning. Because it's in a pretty skinny tube, I save it for those days when my hair is feeling really dull and it instantly brings it back to life! No tangles!

UPDATE: Okay, totally overdosed on protein with this stuff! Be careful! If your hair needs a dose of protein, this is a good one, but make sure to follow up it up with a moisturising treatment or else your hair will get rather coarse! The search continues... continued >>
