This stuff smells VERY strong, and you have to really love the smell to like the product. Fortunately I do love the smell. As far as a moisturizer though...meh...nothing special. I'll use it up and enjoy the wonderful fragrance but when it's done, I'll try something else. I do wish you could buy this as a perfume though!

Packaging difficult to use as a thick lotion. Left me with a sticky residue after use, and smelt of PLASTIC MELONS!!!! Not a patch on The Righteous Butter.

I love this product! I was a bit apprehensive on forking out for this initially, because my skin is so dry and I need a product that is going to give me the heavy moisture that I need. For me, the mark of a good body butter is one which you apply it in the morning and by the evening your skin is still silky smooth and moisturised, and this was definitely the case for me. I did find that I have to spend a bit of time working the cream in but once absorbed my skin looked great. The scent is quite strong and for me it lasted the whole day which I love! I will probably repurchase.

i keep this at my table at work because the tube packaging makes it easier for me to reach for it anytime of the day (as opposed to s&g's the righteous butter, which comes in a tub and, at least for me, is rather impractical to use at work). i actually LOVE the smell, but i think that's more of a personal issue. i don't think it's overpowering, though, but it does linger for a while. i find this to be a bit thicker than 'the righteous butter', but it sinks it pretty fast and isn't tacky/greasy. continued >>

this is great for everyday use, its not too thick or oily and makes skin soft and smells go great! i went through a tube of this so quick! its hard to get it out of the tube when you get to the end tho but i have got a tub of it for next time!

I can't believe people don't like this stuff!! This is my HG Moisturiser, I love the smell of it, (its quite a sweet smell but I don't find it stays around for ages and it smeels better than anything by LUSH, ewwwww), it sinks in quickly so it doesn't sit on your skin, and I have noticed a bit improvement in the condition of my skin from using it as I tend to be quite dry especially in the winter. The only things I don't like are the price as it is quite expensive, and the fact that it can be hard to get the product out of the tube near the end (but it is more hygenic than a tub). But none of this will stop me purchasing it over and over again, I abslutely love it!!!

Did an okay job of moisturizing. The smell is awful though and lingers forever. It gave me a headache and I eventually had to wash my legs to get it off. Needless to say, it went back to the store.

This product has the usual sickly/synthetic S&G smell, fortunately not very long lasting. It sinks in quickly, but is not particularly moisturising. Like the other poster, I prefer body butter in tubs rather than tubes. Not apatch on the Body Shop body butters! continued >>

Sorry guys, I think I'm one of those who prefers jars/tubs to tubes. I simply loathe rolling and flattening the tube to get the last bits out, it just looks tatty.
That said, the product itself is a divine smell, - *faint* - and I can't put my finger on what it smells of, but apparently it's the same as Mist You Madly. It's on the relatively thick side, as are most body butters, I presume; but does an awesome job - it's definitely helped clear up my mozzie bites on my leg quicker than they would normally. Love the inclusion of rosehip oil; that's a massive bonus.
Note: always smother your body in this stuff where you have a breeze to cool down in - I find that having a shower, then prancing about getting ready, then this stuff, then clothes = ugh, sweaty and sticky.
Leave a fair bit of time for it to absorb before you carry on with your routine. But definitely worth it.
Captivating smell and worthwhile ingredients make it a winner for me.
