The only reason why I chose to buy this eye pencil is because Urban Decay doesn't have a matte brown eyeliner. I used up my entire first pencil and bought another purely out of habit, but discovered a cheaper alternative and I don't think I'll purchase it again.
With that said, here are the pros and cons:
Details:
- Price: I remember it being around 20 bucks... I may be off a few dollars
- comes with a sharpener end and a sponge tip (I'm not really sure what to use the latter for, but whatever)
PROS:
- comes with a sharpener; so useful!
- Once it sets, it lasts a while
CONS:
- Is a pretty long pencil, so you may have to use it for a bit before it fits into your makeup case
- Hard to blend
- Smudges
Long story short, there isn't much that is special about this beside the fact that it comes with a sharpener, really. In retrospect, I don't think it's worth the money and will be looking elsewhere for a pencil liner.

Not sure what to write about these pencils...the ones I chose were with glitter and had not really good staying power so I returned them. Stay away from them if you look for something with staying power for your waterline, I'm talking about the glittery ones. The other ones may be allright. I may try them out. But the price is a bit steep..

Hmmm.
Staying power isn't great and it doesn't apply as easily as some other eyeliners imo. I'm glad I swapped for this instead of buying.

I bought this in black metal love. It's a soft black with silver sparkles. I put it to the test and used it on my waterline and within an hour it faded. Then a few hours later the sparkles were everywhere on my face. If your buying this for the waterline it won't stay. I'll be returning this. Sorry Kat!

I am normally a liquid liner kind of girl, but I was looking for a nice black pencil to line my waterline/tightline, and occasionally do a smoky eye. I bought the "jet black" liner in puro amor (after exchanging a Sephora brand recommended pencil) and I love this eyeliner! It comes with a sharpener built into the pencil cap, has a built in pointy sponge for smudging, and once it sets it goes nowhere. I have oily skin, but no raccoon eyes here! Stays on the waterlines for many hours without fading, too. The pencil is soft, but I used it a fair amount (4-5 times) before I had to first resharpen it. It's a little pricey, but i see it lasting a long time (maybe a year or more, since I don't go full bore very often). I'm a very happy camper. I tested this against the UD 24/7 pencil in Zero (black), and am glad that this one is the one I walked away with. Great product, will try more of this line.
