My review on this foundation was that I didn't like it much at all, I brought this foundation since I saw many people wearing it, although I didn't like the product what so ever, I felt that it looked very cakey on my skin and also I didn't like the packaging it came in, I felt the small glass jar was rather heavy also I don't like how much product you get in the jar, the foundation life was very short however one thing I did like was the shade range.

I've tried so many foundations for my dry skin, and so far this is the best. It doesn't make my skin look flaky or ashy. All the other foundations would do this, even when my skin was smooth before applying the makeup. I've found that the best way to apply this product and get a smooth finish for dry skin is to dab it on with a damp beauty blender or one of its knock offs.

I was hoping for a dewy finish, like I've read from other reviews. But for me it's matte. Also, sometimes it acts like a cream to powder and other times it acts like a cream to liquid. I got this because reviewers mentioned that it doesn't turn to powder. I guess my skin is just weird. Maybe on my dryer days it sucks up more moisture from the product than it's supposed to. But despite these things, I still really like it. Even on it's powdery days it still doesn't cake up or flake on me.

I like the coverage. I'd say it's medium. It hides a lot of my redness and all of my light acne scars. When I had a couple darker acne scars it would tone them down a lot, but you could still see them. And it doesn't hide the few freckles I have at all. It makes my skin look better without making it look like a mask and you can't tell I'm wearing makeup at all. It's like if BareMinerals powder had a cream version formulated for dry skin!

The staying power is okay. It stays all day just as long as nothing touches my face. If I get an itch and lightly scratch or rub it will come off. It also gets on my phone.

I don't like the packaging. It's so bulky because of the sponge holder, which is unnecessary. If someone wants to use that sponge they can buy it separately. We get so little product for how bulky the packaging is. I'd rather have a really thin and sleek container that holds just the foundation so it wouldn't take up so much room in my purse or in the small drawer I store my makeup.

I wanted to like this. I bought one of these in Nude Beige, along with a Hot Tamale blush (also Maybelline). The packaging is awkward, as best. You have to unscrew the lid to get to the actual make-up. Then, you have to put the lid back on because you discover you need to figure out how to open the lid containing the foam applicator. All of that, and no mirror. How are you supposed to use this stuff?

But ok, ok. I was really wanting to like something about this. I applied it and got good coverage. But after putting the product on the sponge, I caught a whiff of the odd odor coming from it. I don't know what that was all about but decided that this stuff had too much against it for me to keep. I returned it for a full refund.

I'd like to add that when I clicked on the Add/Edit Review to put this up on our board here, it was sent back to me because I had selected 0 (zero) as the Packaging Quality score. As we are not allowed to use 0 for a score, I had to use 1. I guess the packaging it was in was better than a baggie.

This is a good foundation. Not amazing, not HG but not horrible. My mom brought this home one day and I've been trying it out. I have oily skin and this product was intented for normal to dry, however I feel that this would probably accentuate dry patches on dry skin. On first application it looked cakey as heck, so my trick when wearing this foundation is to apply all of my foundation and concealer and take a towel (one that you don't mind ruining, I have specific older ones for makeup purposes) and just blot the face careful not to rub. By doing this is takes away most of the cakeyness and within half an hour the rest of it fades. I still had visible contour and blush which is more than I can say for other foundations besides my colorstay. I keep trying to find a foundation that will stay on completely and keep my contour and blush throughout the day. This did so for a good 6 to 7 hours at work, but I had to reapply before going out so not too bad. It has a nice natural finish which is what I wanted for spring, not too matte but oil controlling and definitely not dewy but had a little shine in places I wanted to. I find it breaks up in the corners between my eyes and nose bridge oily area that I usually have but it's not too bad. The packaging, well I don't use the top compartment so I would've appreciated less bulkiness. All in all good foundation, but I don't find it's HG. But it has it's place in my collection. I think I would take it again if my mom gets another for me at some point but I wouldn't spend my money on this. Overall, not the worse foundation at the drugstore and may be the best to some.

This has become my HG foundation. It is light but not overly sheer coverage, which is exactly what I needed. It evens out my skin and covers up some slight redness that I get on my chin. It feels very light and breathable, blends in nicely, and can be built up a bit where needed. I use Porcelain Ivory in the winter months and Classic Ivory in the summer when my neck and chest get a little darker. Both shades look natural and well-matched on me. The price is very affordable and one jar tends to last me for about 6 months. I swap out the applicators with fresh ones as needed. The packaging and the fact that it's cream and not liquid makes it easy to use when traveling too. I haven't had any skin irritation or breakouts from it, but I'm not prone to those.

I really love this product! I was a little intimidated at first because it is a foundation and I've only ever used BB creams and tinted moisturizers. It is a little heavy, but if you know how to apply it, it gives your skin a really flawless look, and it covers up almost everything. When I bought this I was planning on getting the Maybelline BB cream which I'd used before and loved, but I saw this and thought, why not. And I was right!! I LOVE this stuff!!

When I bought this it was mainly for experimentation. I've never really been interested in creme or liquid foundation. I've used the Dream Nude Airfoam Foundation, which I thought was good. I went to Walmart to get the Dream Smooth Mousse after looking at reviews. As soon as I got home I put it on. I was amazed. I love it! I tried using a sponge to put it on, but I didn't like that. I now use a brush. It goes on so smooth and feels amazing. I will definitely buy this again no question!!!

update: after a couple weeks of using this with a firm brush, my normal primer and blush and all the works, I found I was breaking out more. I switched to the dream nude liquid foundation (mainly because I was getting tanner and I had it in a darker color already) and withing 2 days I noticed I was not breaking out nearly as much.. I have slightly oily skin, mainly in my T zone, and that's exactly where I was breaking out. Just FYI

What can I say except GREAT?
It is the first foundation which makes me belive my choice is totally correct.
I am Asian.I have used TFS BB cream and another liquid foundation of Shimmer(Actually I don't know this brand, and this product is given to me from one of my relatives.)
All of them are foundation but they varie in texture, negative effect and many other things.
I know it from the net that BB cream does more harm to skin when compared with other foundations. When removing the make-up, I would always find some one or two break-outs.SUCKS.
So I prefer some foundations. Liquid foundations are also does harm to acne-prone and sensitive skin, so not a best choice.
Since winter, I have used this smooth mousse. BRILLIANT...
My skin is not so dry as before. After removing the make-up, no break-outs.haha~~
My skin is so sensitive so I don't dare to change product so quickly. Therefore, my rational choice is BUY IT AGAIN..~~

I love this foundation. My skin is very dry at times (especially winter) and so the moisturizing benefit of this is great. Although, my dryest patches (cheeks especially) where my skin is flaky and dry, this seems to not do the best job of really moisturizing it, but makes it appear worse. So I have to pile moisturizer on anyways. BUT this is a very creamy smooth moussey foundation and doesn't produce much shine.
I can wear this alone with no powder on top. I will be trying the smooth matte mousse next since it has anti-shine, and with me piling on moisturizer, I have a lot of shine.
The packaging is ok. I love the sponge it comes with, it makes it so easy to quickly apply-and-go.

I'm not sure if I would buy this product again. I love the consistency and the buildable coverage. So far, it hasn't irritated my skin which is a huge plus but the color selection sucks. I have very light skin so I grabbed the lightest shade that my local Target carried which was Classic Ivory Light 2. It is almost a little too dark for me which is really a bummer. I'm mostly using it as an eyeshadow concealer and maybe a little bit as a contouring cream. I looked on the website and saw that they have this foundation in one shade lighter, Porcelain Ivory Light 1 which would probably would have been perfect for me :(

If I find this in the shade for my skin tone than I will definitely repurchase, otherwise...

UPDATE May 21, 2013:

I cannot believe this has turned out to be my favorite foundation! I have almost used up the container and I will def repurchase. It's creamy, super blendable and very buildable. I think you need to play around with this particular foundation texture before figuring out how it works with your skin. I found that I cannot use a primer and that it does not take a lot of product to even out my skin. I've also found that this works way better at concealing blemishes than my concealers. And a huge plus is that this has NEVER broken my very sensitive skin out. I can fully rely on this foundation to not irritate or cause zits at all. I use it after heavy moisturizer and finish with a dusting of my Neutrogena pressed mineral powder. This will def be my go to foundation for as long as they keep making it!
