I'm always really satisfied with makeup from The Body Shop but this is probably the worst foundation I have tried. It does not stick to my chin, forehead or nose at all! The only place it stuck was on my eyebrows. It's weird, because when I first apply it it feels really thick, almost like a mask, but when I massage it in to my skin it's like it disappears! I have tried with my fingers, sponges and brushes but I have never been able to apply this evenly. Too bad, because the packaging is great and the color really suits my skin.

i am having a terrible time with my skin its soo dry and i keep breaking out!
my foundation was making my flaky areas stand out. so i went to the body shop with NO MAKE UP ON and told the lady my problems, she make me up with this foundation and i love it!
its like a tinted moisturiser as it is light and hydrating but with a great coverage like a foundation! and its not heavy on my skin! i love this product and i would buy it again as it suits my skin, skin tone and helps my dry, blemished skin!

only down side is u must set it with a powder or it can look slightly oily but it is easily fixed! :)

For me, this foundation is okay. It's blendable, but it's always a bit obvious that you're wearing makeup, and I prefer my foundations to look more natural. The quality is a bit above average drug store foundations.

Pros: It gives a dewy finish, it sinks into skin instead of just sitting on top of it, and the coverage is buildable to medium.

Cons: The color selection isn't varied enough, it's expensive, and it can accentuate any dry patches on your skin, so it's not as moisturizing as it claims to be.

Still, with a good facial cream underneath, I'd re-purchase.

An assistant made me up before I bought this foundation, and at the time I thought the natural, even coverage was down to her expertise - I was wrong! This is a beautiful, lightweight foundation, and the shade I have it in (06) matches my complexion wonderfully. It covers up redness and minor blemishes, but as it is quite lightweight it can't be used to cover up any major skin disasters. I mostly use this during the day, when I want a minimal, healthy look. At first I thought it was pricey, but then I saw what great quality it was and how long it's lasted me (over 6 months with no signs of running out) so it's definitely cheap for what it is. I love it!

I bought thisin the lightest shade in 2009 so I don't know if it's the same formula. The only liquid foundation i've ever bought or used. I don't wear foundation regularily: when i moved I didn't even pack it to bring it with me. No problems at all;
matches my skin colour, no oompa-loompa effect, not scented, longest shelf life ever, no streaking. it's still as moist now as it was the day I bought it.
When I wear it nobody believes me that I'm wearing foundation. It really doesn't look like you have anything on.
The con is the price. TBS is very expensive, then again I have to say all their products i used lasted me more than a year.

I've only had this product for a few days, but so far so good! I have extremely dry skin and struggle finding something that works. Luckily because of the dryness, though, I have clear skin. I just get some redness that I like to even out. A lot of people have told me to try TM's, but I've found that a lot of the time they really don't moisturize that much and I've just about given up. Like I said, I just got this and have only worn it for a few days, but it has been great for me. If you want full coverage though, this product is not for you. Also, for me, I've found that applying with clean fingers is the best method. I tried brushes (foundation and stippling brushes) and they just didn't look right. I will update if things end up not working out. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
Update 2/12/2012: Well I've tried, but it just stopped looking good. Even after the first couple of days it just started looking really patchy. Oh well, the search continues...

I have spent many years trying to find a foundation for my very fair skin. I came across body shop's moisture foundation last year, it's the absolute best foundation I've found. I love pretty much everything about this foundation, it matches my skin colour lovely, one bottle last me months and months and the texture is perfect. It was a little pricey, but that does not phase me as long as it works. I highly recommend this foundation, I have already bought a second bottle!

Im nearly finished on my first bottle which has lasted seven months - yes I wear it most days too! And I really love it. I love make up that you don't notice and this one is the Queen of invisibility. It gives light coverage and it is layerable for a medium coverage. I use it with my benefit erase paste concealer though and it is dreamy. The foundation goes on so light and I really feel like my skin can breathe through it, unlike other thick, matte foundations. It also give a really nice healthy, dewy look too which is always nice to see in the mirror before I leave for the day :) So I would say it is great if you only want a really light coverage and a bit of glow or used in conjunction with a concealer.
I've never broken out wearing it & I am sensitive to crappy ingredients in cosmetics so it seems this one is free of them. I use a Kabuki brush at the end of my make up routine just to buff everything in nicely & aid in my quest of make up invisibility! continued >>

The problem that I was having with my skin is that, although I do have an oily and spot-prone T-Zone, the end of my nose still seems to look peely when I put any foundation on despite using moisturiser beforehand. So, I thought that I'd use the moisturising one, hoping that it would solve this problem.
However, the problem persisted and my T-Zone becomes even oilier when I put it on. I don't want to waste it because of the price that I spent on it, but I will definitely not buy it again.
I also couldn't get a shade that was light enough for my skin tone.
I wouldn't recommend this; there are other foundations that I'm sure are better value for your money than this is.

I accidently bought this foundation by mistake. I meant to get the oil free one. I was a bit worried as i have oily skin but it didn't make. my skin shiny or oily. Also it covered quite well and stayed on for ages! Pleasantly surprised considering i bought the. wrong one!

I have had such difficulties with finding a foundation to suit my fair skin but this one is great! It is so sheer and moisturizing and it doesn't give you that cakey look and feel. The only con is that it takes a while to apply it. I use the Body Shop foundations brush and while it works great for getting the right amount on your face it takes ages to spread out... So worth it though if you're going for that natural look!

Pros and cons to this product:
1. Only provides light coverage, ideal for a glowing look, not ideal to cover blemishes
2. Hard to match shades
3. Bottle is well designed
4. Have to apply several layers to get full coverage
The representative recommended this to me, however when on the face it feels like it hasnt blended in and just sits on the face

Was not expecting this to be as good as it was ! Gives light coverage as it is very sheer and liquidy so you only need a small amount. I would say this is more for clear skins as it doesn't hide any blemishes and I don't think it layers too well so you would need lots of concealer with it but it is a dream for clearer skins that just need to cover red /blotchy areas . Most importantly , as others have mentionned, it gives a lovely GLOW !! Everytime I have worn it I have had compliments that my skin is 'glowing' & looking beautiful ( no one can tell I even have any foundation on!) . Highly highly highly recommended if you are looking for a sheer , natural looking Foundation to give light coverage and subtle glow for the illusion of a lovely glowing natural complexio ! Does not feel like you are wearing anything and settles into skin straight away. Am very impressed with bodyshop recently ! continued >>

To my surprise, this is one of my favorite foundations in a long time. I have dry skin so foundations, even TMs, can get flaky on my face. Using the 02, this is a beautiful, lightweight foundation that evens out redness and covers small stuff and leaves an overall relaxed glow. Pretty close to HG when used with Nars primer.

Although this is not my HG, I was surprised that I liked it as much as I did. I ended up reaching for it most of the time even though I currently have 2 or 3 other foundations in my arsenal. I used 02, which is the lightest I could get, which still sometimes looked a bit peach-y on me. It didn't settle into my pores or lines and seems to sink into my skin and disappear after about 20 minutes. Like I could tell I had foundation on right after application and then a little while later it looked more natural. It is only light to medium coverage and not really buildable. I have some pigmentation and old pimple scars and it is not enough to cover those on its own. It will wipe off on clothing and will not last through a gym workout. The 30ml plastic pump bottle lasted me what seemed like forever and the pump squeezed every last bit out. The plastic bottle is lightweight for travel. It costs about the same as better drugstore foundations, so not a bad deal. I'm not running out right away to get a new bottle on the heels of finishing my old one, but if I needed something and had nothing better around, I'd go with this. That doesn't sound like a great endorsement. I did like it, but I need something with a bit more coverage. But that's not to say I would never buy this again. It's a pretty good formula for a light/medium coverage foundation.

I have yet to find my HG foundation ...well, i did but it was discontinued :-( Still, until i find the perfect one, i often use this Body Shop Moisture Foundation. It is fairly moisturizing -- which i like -- with light to medium coverage -- although i prefer a bit more. It feels quite lightweight, almost unnoticeable on the skin, which is good, because i dislike foundations that make my skin feel like it is suffocating. The bottle is a simple cylinder with a pull-off silvery cap and a pump i find easy to control. The inner bottom moves up as product is used so most of it will come out. This is a decent product and one i would recommend if one wants medium coverage and can find a good color match. But i am still looking for my HG...

Fabulous, lightweight foundation.
I'm someone who hates wearing foundation because I don't like having all that stuff on my face and I don't like touching my face throughout the day and feeling obvious makeup there.
I was looking for a lightweight, barely noticeable, light coverage foundation and this does the job.
Like I said, this is a light coverage foundation. I mix it about half-half with a moisturizer since I have drier skin and apply this almost like a tinted moisturizer over my regular moisturizer. No brush needed.
It applies very smoothly and evenly and it definitely does a good job of providing enough coverage to even my skin out a little without making it look like I'm wearing foundation. If you're looking for a flawless face or you're looking for a foundation for a special event, I'd go with something else...otherwise for the day-to-day, this is great.
I don't think they have a ton of shades to choose from but have someone at the body shop match your shade for you.

It's a fairly good foundation. I sheer it out by adding it half and half to moisturizer. It keeps my skin in good condition and has SPF which is a bonus. My only problem with it is that there is only 7 shades.. I'm on number 6 during winter, so I need to find a different shade for summer. I also find that it can run a bit too orange sometimes which is one reason why I add moisturizer. The price is only a bit cheaper than MAC here in NZ, so I may switch over to them when I run out.

Favorite foundation so far. . . I've experimented with many, many foundations over the summer. From Estee Lauders Maximum Coverage (magnifies every pore on your face) to Revlon's infamous ColorStay Foundation (awful, made me break out and looks effing cakey). This one's a keeper though. I don't have any complaints, it hasn't made me break out and does not look cakey on. I think application is important, I use TBS's kabukie (sorry I know I misspelled that!) brush to blend in this liquid foundation. And it works like a dream. Provides light to medium coverage depending on how you build it (very buildable). Be sure you don't get a shade that's too light, or it will probably make you look washed out.
