This is a, not perfect (is there such a thing?), but good red - not bright nor blue. I apply it lightly with a brush or fingertip, then top with an opal gloss. Just the ticket when I'm wearing red.
It's almost as good a red as my old favorite, Almay "Serene" which is gone forever. I don't even find it in the closeout joints.

This is one of the best red lipstick colors I've tried. Almost my HG. I have a very light complexion with yellow undertones. Many red lipsticks look way too bright on me no matter how lightly I apply them, & it's been very hard to find one I really like. This one is not overly bright, not too bluish, not too orangy. One of the few things that I don't like much (& why I only gave it 4 instead of 5 lippies) is the "taste" of this lipstick is quite strong. Even my husband commented on its taste when he drank out of my soda straw after I did when I was wearing this. But for the color, I would buy it again. continued >>

i got a sample of this and it glides on really well, and the color is a pretty red color, but not bright. It fades nicely to a light bluish red color.

I agree with Penguin, that this is the silkiest lipstick I've used. It goes on soooo comfortably, and this is an outstanding, beautiful red. I have used this color for a long time and it is a big favorite. The yves rocher True Colors lipsticks are so nice.

This is the silkiest formula I have ever tried and the color is just fabulous!
