I'd been looking for a hot fucshia lipstick for a while. I found one I loved in Givenchy (don't remember the name) but didn't feel like forking over $32 CAD. Luckily, there was Revlon SuperLustrous Lipstick in Fuschia Fusion. This fuschia leans a bit redder than many, which works well with my skintone. For reference, I'm Indian-descent, about NC40 (in MAC) but not as yellow. The lipstick does still have a blue undertone, which is very flattering, and slight blue frost. This doesn't show up very obviously though. The texture is quite smooth and I wore it for about 3 hours when I had an appointment and it had shown no signs of feathering, fading or settling into the creases in my lips. For longer wear, I'm sure I'd have to reapply at least once during the work day. It's well worth it for the money, especially considering I won't be using it for a daily look. In order to avoid a fantastic-80s vibe, I paired it with smudged-out black winged eyeliner and along waterline that gave it a modern feel, and Tarte cheek stain in Flushed applied with a light hand. Will repurchase but probably won't run out for a long while.
*Sidenote*... This packaging is perfectly adequate but the top is transparent. Freaked out the first time I saw it in my purse because at first glance, it looked as if the top had come off and I could see the lipstick. Soooo if you're like me, you might want to avoid putting it upright in a side pouch of your purse just to save yourself a little jolt!

Great dynamic fuchsia with really strong blue undertones with. One layer and it is pretty opaque for a pearl finish. Beautiful color, comparable to high end lines. Wore about 2 hours on me. Didn't feather but can migrate easily if I'm eating or drinking.

I can't rave enough about Revlon Superlustrous lipsticks and Fuchsia Fusion is no exception. When I read on MUA that it is a dupe for MAC's Girl About Town, I just had to have it! As others have mentioned, it is a deep-toned fuchsia, extremely bold and vibrant, an instant mood lifter. Someone said that this is a color that came out in the 80's, was discontinued, and has recently been introduced again. I am so happy and hope it is here to stay! Love this!

Beautiful color with excellent payoff. Only it didn´t look good on me at all, as I found it too cool and did nothing for my complexion. Recommend it to those of Olive skintone and down. Strong, sexy and somehow romantic bright rose pink.

Fourth item bought and loved in past month because of Mua reviews. This is a gorgeousssss bright colour which is very vivid and yet wearable (not overly bright). I'm warm toned, with brown hair/eyes but cool tones sometimes look great on me. This is one of those times. Very good quality item, about five bucks cheapet for me than MAC.
.
Btw if u like this colour but think its too strong for daily use, try Rimmel Amethyst Shine(in the dark purple tube) i swear, if this is the beautiful bold one, that is the subtle shy (but still pretty) sister of it.

OMG! What a beautiful, bright actual fuchsia colored lipstick this is. I wanted MAC's Girl About Town and Fusian Pink, but wasn't 100% sure such bright colors would look good on me. I saw this shade from Revlon and the price was a lot cheaper than my beloved MAC, so I gave in and gave it a try. Great color! Great Price! Love Revlon lipsticks!!!

I wanted MAC Girl About Town but I wasn't willing to pay $14 for such a bright color. I did my research and found this. I love it! I tone it down with liner under it and I'm good. I think it's a really great summer color or a just a great color to brighten up your day.

This review is for the **Revlon Colorburst** line, and the fuchsia is matte. It is absolutely gorgeous and I get a ton of compliments whenever I wear it. It lasts forever!! This is the lipstick I go to when I'm having a crappy day - it makes me feel so much better :)
Anyways, I saw how other reviewers say they wish it was a matte...well, this one is and it's perfect. The packaging is a bit different, there is no gold, the tube is all black and has a sort of diamond pattern is etched into it.

I bought this after hearing that it was a pretty good dupe for MAC's "Girl About Town." I love it! It's such a fun color to wear. Since my skin has warm undertones and the lipstick has blue undertones, the color really pops. Great value for the price.

This is a very good matte lipstick, its not shiny or stick it goes on very smooth and lasts all day. This lipstick is as good as MAC's cream lipsticks I ate with this lipstick on and not one time did it come off or force me to retouch I will be buying more Revlon lipsticks. The only thing I dont like about this lipstick is the fact that it makes my lips look as if I drank red juice or something maybe I need to try this on with a different hair style otherwise, I am soo in love with the color and lipstick overall

I think this would be better if it were a satin, matte, or cream. Instead it's a pearle, which means there is shimmer in it but not as much as a frost. It's very pigmented, but it also has a lot of wax. I think Revlon changed their formula because I don't remember it being so slick before. It's not easy to keep this in the line of your mouth. You need lip liner with it... just a few years ago I would have never needed lip liner with a Revlon lipstick. They were very close to MAC.

This is a vivid creamy fuschia. Nicely pigmented with no scent. Makes my teeth look whiter too. How much greater would this be if it were matte? I got this for free at CVS, after Extra Bucks and my coupon.

Gosh, I love this lipstick. I'm close to finishing the tube! I have olive-toned skin, so anything orangy or yellowy makes me look very sallow. Since I'm tanned (NC 30, NC 20 regularly), the blue undertones in this lipstick provide a sharp, complementary look to my olive skin. It's bold and very pretty:) Like the previous rater, it's similar to Lickable by MAC. However, when applied the two are very different. Lickable is more glossier, lighter, more pinkish, and feathers. Fuchsia fushion is more matte, opague, saturated, and needs minimal touchups. I love both.
UPDATE:
I had some sort of make up revelation. Cool toned lipsticks actual look bad one my skin versus warm toned lipsticks that are more flattering on my skin tone. The colour never looked horrible, just not perfect. I guess at the time it was perfect, but I've found better since then. Also, I only dabbed it on, so the colour on my lips was lighter than in the tube. I still give it 5 stars, because the formula's amazing and I like the colour just not on me.

I really like this color! I actually find I prefer it to my mac lickable as it is a bit more reddish and wearable. I wear funtabulous dazzleglass over this and it looks great. Also looks great alone though if you don't want the glossy look. This is a beautiful magenta that really stands out, but isn't super over the top. The pearly finish is pretty on this. Perfect for a night out, any event, or just summer in general. I would definitely buy this again and look forward to trying many other hot pink/magenta lipsticks this summer and more lipsticks from this line!

Wow! Greatly impressed. The color payoff is amazing and the pigments have lasted through lunch from 7:00 a.m. Very smooth going on. Not glossy but moist. Opaque color. No scent or taste. The color is a vivid magenta. Very vivid. Think hot pink with blue undertones. In some lighting I can actually see a bit of blue pigment.
