Ok so applying this with the cute but inadequate packaging takes some getting used to but its totally worth it. I was unsure about this when the MA handed it to me but had barely walked a block away from the store with this colour on when I got hollered at ...nuff said!

I've seen Christine from Temptalia.com's review for these and at first I thought she was exaggerating. I was in Sephora in Times Square and decided to give it a try and I'm so glad that I did! It's this beautiful orange red that not too red or not too orange, even though it looks crazy in the tube. A little goes such a long way and I didn't even need lipliner! Goes perfect with "naked" face and winged out liner. WOC, please do not be afraid of this. You can use just a dab for a nice stain or apply it fully for vixen lips. WINNING!!!!

*For reference, I'm an NC50 in MAC Prolong Wear

I really, really love this gloss. As previously mentioned it is a blood orange-esque shade, a bright orange with a fair bit of red. This is the best lipgloss I own- it's super-opaque, and really looks more like a really glossy lipstick when first applied. The glossiness fades out after a while, but the colour is very long lasting. It doesn't hold op to eating or drinking, and I didn't really expect it to, but it also transfers REALLY badly, which is more of a problem than if it were more transparent.

This loses a lippy for two pretty minor reasons. Firstly, while the packaging looks really cool, it's a complete pain in the ass. I rarely have the time to do anything other than apply it from the tube, which just sort of pushes it around your lips and makes a mess. I suppose it was designed to be applied with a brush, but that's no good for speedy lunch break top-ups. I'm having to use my fingers, and it makes a huge orange mess. The other problem is that when this fades, it generally fades out nicely, but it leaves this really gross rubbery orange ring on the inside of my lips. I didn't notice it at first, and when I looked in the mirror I had this line of gross orange gunk! It's the kind of weirdness you get from bad long-lasting lipsticks. But it comes straight off of course, so it's not major. Still pretty much HG for me- I've been wearing it about every second day!

I love this color! It is a really lovely bright orange red. It is a shade in their intense lipgloss line, which is their line of gloss that is more opaque. On the Sephora site, they describe it as "tangerine" but it is really more of a blood orange. It matches really well with Illamasqua Ignite lipstick (swatched next to it in the pic I added), and I actually love the gloss more than the lipstick. It is really thick and slightly sticky, so you need to only use a little and apply it carefully. However, it lasts forever on me, much longer than the average gloss. It also really is a full coverage gloss, so you really do need only a bit. My only gripe with it is that it's a squeeze tube with a slant tip applicator, and it's slightly difficult to squeeze and apply. I really wish it came with a wand applicator. I find it best just to squeeze some on the middle of my lips and apply with my finger or a lip brush. The color is definitely worth dealing with the bad packaging, though! If you are an orange-red lippie collector like me, definitely pick this up.
